I too loved living at the Varsity. The access to pubic transportation is fantastic and the central location downtown made for easy walks to just about everywhere I wanted to go. Their is a nice small grocery just down the street so that is where I purchase most of my daily groceries. I didn’t have a car so I cant speak to that experience. I am a student at UB and most of my friends live at the Varsity so it makes it an even better experience for me. The building is not loud and actually overall I have found the building quiet and had no issues studying. The common areas including the hallways, lobby and elevators were always clean. Overall my experience here has been nothing but positive.

Loved living here! The only downside is the parking. They only have a limited number of tenant spaces available. Was on a waiting list for 2 months. They also charge between $ 125-$ 150/month for a space(which isn’t horrendous but should be included for the rent price). Had to shift my car around constantly. I was towed at McDonald’s and had to pay $ 200 to get my car back. Other than that this place is great. Included in your rent is access to a 24hr Gym, Game Room, and Business Center. Also, access to tanning beds. Located in the building are Bobby’s Burger Palace, Looney’s Pub, Royal Farms, and more. The only reason they don’t get a 5⁄5 is the parking.

Hey so the Varsity is definitely the place to be in College Park! I was one of the first students to sign a lease, and I am happy as can be! You can check out the website to read about all of the amenities, but I am most excited about getting a free flat screen TV as well as the numerous retail housed on the ground-level(Bobby Flay’s Burger Palace, Looney’s Bar, Froyo, etc.). It’s also really convenient as it is directly adjacent to campus. The rooms look amazing, and I am definitely looking forward to moving in August 26!!! They also have tanning beds to get your tan on so you can GTL all day. I give it my highest recommendation. my only knocks on the varsity are stupid rules, such as locking the most clutch stairwell of all time as well as making me take the elevator from the garage(this is why america is fat). also, the management is inconsistent when it comes to parking, overnight guests, and a host of other things, but they are doing the best that they can.
