OK. They definitely skimp on the meat like the other reviewers mentioned. And they were out of steak and ground beef even though people were still streaming in at 8:45pm. They did not have any appetizers either. Just ended up being a bland meal.

Went here with a party of 3 after a University of Maryland Basketball game. We haven’t been here so we took a few minutes and discussing with each other what we should get. However, an older man who seems to be the manager kept asking us, «Are you ready?» and«Are you going to order yet?». Instead of rushing us to order, maybe he could have given us some suggestions on what to order. Mind you, that we were the only ones in line, it’s not like there were people waiting. We decided to go with the Krazi Naan Wrap after seeing all of the Unilocal reviews talking about the naan wrap. As others have stated, it is a very similar set up to Chipotle but it’s Indian and Pakistani style instead of Mexican. The person making the wrap just goes in a line with the different ingredients if you want this or not but when we were at the meat portion, he just asked, «chicken?» I asked him if there were other options but he ignored my question and just went on and putting the chicken in my wrap. I also ordered their mango lassi. The Krazi Naan Wrap was good and definitely fulfilling. However, I feel like it is missing a few ingredients that would make it taste amazing. The mango lassi tasted like any other mango lassi, nothing special. Overall, the food was good but the staff should definitely work on their communication skills with their customers. I would say 3.5 out of 5.

When Krazi Kebob first opened in College Park, I wasn’t convinced they could compete with all of the other food-assembly-line restaurants in town. But I was definitely intrigued by the idea of fusion between Indian and Latin American-style food — I love naan and paneer and tikka masala sauce, and I love burritos and nachos! It seems to have taken these guys a while to find their stride, as there have been plenty of tweaks to the menu and ingredients, but now I can say that this place is darn good. The naan is made fresh on the spot — plain or stuffed — and is tender and nicely flavored. I started out as a big fan of the naan wraps(which seem to be their most popular item) but have tried my way through the menu and prefer the nachos at this point, because they have the most deliciously crispy and well-seasoned chips. But no matter what, I love to get their chicken with tikka masala sauce, some onions and peppers, their delicious chick peas, and an assortment of salsas and sauces. That combo is good in pretty much anything! The only thing I waver on is the spicy desi salad, which sometimes leaves steam coming out of my ears — it just depends on how I feel that day! The paneer is a bit bland, even with plenty of other toppings, and the falafel has been too soft for my taste. Prices are reasonable($ 10 – 15 per person, depending on whether you get drinks) and it’s a fast meal to grab and go. They now split their space with a salad place, but didn’t get rid of any tables, so the dining area is crowded and a little difficult to navigate. We tend to get carryout or delivery, which works pretty well for the naan wraps and quesadillas and bowls. The nachos are best enjoyed on the spot.

OMG! What a great find! We are here from out of town and have been disappointed with our restaurant choices until now. Awesome, fresh food!!! So good! You can’t go wrong here.

Food is not fresh. Taste like food that been microwaved too long. Steak was extremely dry. May have been due to the fact that it was prepared long ago and they kept it and later just microwaved it. Would not recommend.

I just forgot there was a place called Chipotle! They will never crossed my mind again after having this amazing spicy chicken burrito! It was inexpensive and quick. The atmosphere was cozy. The staff was helpful and pleasant. I’ll be back for sure. Check out the photos too. Nice bogo deal on burritos too.

Greetings Everyone, I’ve ordered food from both Krazi Kebob and Bread n’ Greens, as they have the same owner Nomie, and everything was delicious. If you live in the College Park/Greenbelt area you can actually order this through Grubhub or call the restaurant and they will deliver it to your door. The owner even followed up with us to make sure everything was delivered okay. Please check these places out.

This place is dope. It has a similar setup as chipotle — you can choose a naan wrap or a bowl(there are other options too). Then you add rice, beans or chickpees, you choice of meat, sauces, salsas, etc. the difference is the Indian twist. The chicken is tandoori-like and comes with masala sauce. It is all sooooo good. If you like Indian food and if you like chipotle then this is the perfect place. Check it out!

Yummy Pakistani-Indian food with Mexican fusion and served Chipotle style so you can get whatever you’d like. Fresh baked naan is super! Mostly here to compliment the service – not sure if we were there with the manager or an employee, but he was incredibly friendly and helpful, eager to explain all the food, ingredients, etc. He even served us up a heaping sample of fresh, hot curried chickpeas and rice! Incredibly kind and pleasant service goes a long way in my book :)

This place is like the middle eastern equivalent of Chipotle(that’s how one of the employees explained it to me). Now I’m not a fan of Chipotle, but I AM a fan of this place! The food is really good, and not terribly expensive. I ordered a bowl with basmati rice, chick peas, seasoned ground beef, corn, tomatoes, a delicious tamarind sauce(and I think a Masala sauce, as well) with garlic naan on the side. There was a guy behind the counter making the naan right in front of us, which I thought was very cool. No store bought, mass produced stuff here! The garlic naan could have used just a little salt, but that was easily remedied by a quick trip to the condiment counter. My boyfriend got the Naan Quesadilla which was HUGE! He ordered it with spicy chicken and all of the fix-ins and he enjoyed every last bite. We also got an order of samosas. I’m used to there being chunks of potato in my samosas, but these had more of a slightly spicy mashed potato filling. A little different than what I was used to, but still very good. There’s plenty of seating and even a TV at the far end of the restaurant to catch up on your college basketball(if you’re into that sort of thing… you are on a college campus, after all).

Here’s the truth — this food tastes good. But it’s fusion stuff and it’s tailored for the college crowd that hangs around the ol’ St. Elmo’s Fire quad. For someone like myself, I prefer genuine, authentic stuff. Not a fan of fusions. So I would give the place a lower rating except the food tastes pretty good. If you are not ready to try real Indian or Middle Eastern food this is a good place to start and everyone walking in and out is stereotypically preppy, collegey, and definitely persuaded they are going full out exotic food at this place. For many people, that’s just right. I’d prefer to keep looking for a dive with more authentic food and a less pretentious, overly-hip, and overly«we are awesome young people» crowd, but that’s just me. The samosas were pretty good.

I came here for dinner with two friends who had been a few times before. I feel that gave me the upper hand since they had given me recommendations. I ended up getting the naan wrap with spicy chicken tikka and basically every filling/topping/sauce they had. It was HUGE and amazingly tasty! I really enjoyed my wrap but after we left I was wondering why I didn’t see any kebabs on the menu! I guess that’s too KRAZI! Sorry. It was good, and I would go back for sure. Next time I would get a bowl with my naan on the side. Or just order naan and get a bunch of different sauces to eat with it(like I saw another customer doing.)

Environment: Casual Fast food seating What I ate: «Naan, chickpeas, chicken, corn, tomatoes and lettuce» What I think: Krazi Kebob to summarize it is like«Chipotle» but with Kebobs where you choose the individual ingredients to go with the kebobs. The naans are freshly made and all the flavors go well together. I’ll definitely come back here again.

My friends and I call it «awkward Chipotle» because this place just makes us uncomfortable. I’ve been here twice and both times the food was bland and absolutely tasteless. My sister asked for salt and the guy acted really smug, asking her if she really needed it. That’s not good service. I gave it a second chance a little while ago and got the quesadilla. After ordering, the same guy told us to sit down and wait. We waited for about 20 minutes. My quesadilla was very disappointing and certainly not worth my time. No thanks to this place.

Krazi Kebob is a staple of the undergraduate lifestyle — a lot of food for not a lot of money. Beyond that, there’s nothing groundbreaking about it besides the freshly baked naan bread, which comes out chewy and soft and absolutely perfect. On my most recent visit, I had a non-spicy chicken naan wrap, which was customized with rice, beans, onions, etc. a la Chipotle style. It was a very carb-heavy meal and I couldn’t taste much of the flavors through the thick bread and rice wrapped inside, but it was still delicious and very filling. If you’re looking for a cheap, quick meal that’s not Chipotle, then this is a good option. Also, there’s an amazing deal on Tuesday for college students where you get a second naan wrap free with purchase of a naan wrap and a drink.

LOVE this place! I’ve probably burned off my taste buds from spicy food over the years, so I’m always disappointed when restaurants advertise their food as «spicy.» However, Krazi Kebob is one of the only places in CP that actually satisfies my spicy cravings. When you walk in the door and enter the line, the staff usually asks you what you want before it’s your turn to determine if they should start making the naan. If you don’t know what naan is it’s kind of like a fluffy, lighter tortilla. They make the naan fresh with your order so it always tastes great. I always get the naan wrap with spicy chicken. Then you can add toppings kind of like Chipotle(lettuce, cheese, tamarind sauce, jalapeños, chick peas, etc). Come on Krazi Tuesdays and you get a free naan wrap with the purchase of one naan wrap and two drinks. I think this offer is for students at UMD, but I don’t think I’ve ever been asked to see my student ID.

Pricey + miniscule portion of meat + too much rice vs. other toppings = I won’t go back. With all the Unilocal hype, I expected much better out of this place. And yes, I get it’s the Indian Chipotle, but STILL. The servers were pleasant enough, but for the few things I needed explained(the sauce options for example), I couldn’t hear a word he was saying. They gave me a huge amount of rice, but definitely could have portioned out more of the chick peas and ESPECIALLY the meat. Honestly, I only got like 7 really tiny pieces of chicken. The naan was warm, but completely lacked flavor — perhaps opt for the garlic or onion kind? For close to $ 9 without a drink, I’d skip this place.

This place is excellent. It’s like the Chipotle of Indian food. You can get a naan wrap, quesdilla, bowl(no naan or naan on the side, and I think they have naan pizzas now. You can choose a protein like spicy chicken tikka, seasoned beef, steak, or vegetables and paneer. They have a huge variety of salsas, chutneys, and sauces to go on top. The naan is made fresh right there for you, and it’s very good and hot. The owner and employees are always super nice, and there’s specials for students. I’m a grad student, and a staff of resident life; this place is cheap and right near my office so what is not to like?
