My boyfriend and I grabbed food from here after traveling from out of town. We shared an order of chipotle wings, I believe. And he ordered a side of fries and I ordered a side of overpriced shrimp. Based on the reviews and pictures, I had a feeling I wasn’t going to be too pleased about our $ 30 order, but I went with it anyway. The chicken was okay, but not worth it. Maybe it was the sauce choice, I don’t know. Tasted like fast food bbq sauce. I had a fry and it was average. As for my shrimp, I wanted to call and take it back when I saw how tiny they were, but I was too tired. It was tasty but definitely not worth the extra 5 or 6 bucks. The man at the cash register was nice, but seemed bored(maybe because it was a slow night). I probably will not return. I can definitely get better tasting wings and fries at a few other places.

Haven’t had CKU in a long time. Well, I was definitely surprised and satisfied with their offerings. Their wing portions are huge. So, no, they aren’t tiny wing-dings. These are big individual wingettes and drums. Cluck-U has a great selection of chicken styles and dipping sauces. 3 of which are extremely, dangerously spicy. As in for the brave and young at heartburn and intestinal fortitude. I tasted the hottest offering the 911. That thing was like kissing the sun. You won’t have to order a lot of chicken for your family. Their portions and sides are well balanced.

One of my favorite chicken places, and I make sure to stop by here every time I’m in the College Park area. The sandwiches are off the hook. I’ve had one flavor of wings there before, and those were really good too. The fries are okay, but really the worst thing are those sort of sweet dessert donuts they offer; they’re really gimmicky. The place is usually really clean on the inside and not really busy, so I don’t mind sitting down and eating here when I have time. 5⁄5

So I ordered delivery from this place. So I can’t speak to the location/parking ect. I ordered the 10 piece boneless chicken wings and mozzarella sticks for a girls night in. The deliver arrived promptly which is nice because most people get lost. And the delivery guy was friendly enough. But that’s where the good ends. The food wasn’t very hot. Thr mozzarella sticks were ok but they were lukewarm at best. And the marinara dip was straight up bad. The wings were down right cold, but had a nice crispness to them. But since they were cold it kind of just fell off. So we reheated them and they became even worse. They were slippery, greasy and unappetizing. We ate about 3 of them(1 for each of us) and then tossed them. Wouldn’t do delivery again.

The spicy chicken sandwiches are big and filling. They have a great variety of sauces to the way you want your chicken. They just started this thing where they became cheap and DONOT give you free water.

Cluck u has to be my favorite fastfood restaurant, I mean I don’t know why they closed down a few of there locations as good as there food is. The chicken Parmesan sandwich is the bomb, there wings is bomb. I give them five stars for good fast food.

It would be 5 stars but apparently the owner won’t let the workers put out a tip jar, which is just bizarre. But anyway, we eat there just about every week, especially since they’ve started delivering. The staff are always very nice. It is a great place to sit and watch a game and the place is always VERY clean. So it would be 5 stars, were it not for the weird owner.

We(me and co workers) eat here on a regular basis, however the last time we ate here the sauce was very dry, the cheese fries had very little cheese on it. I have since heard that the business is for sale. Maybe they are trying to save some money. Will not return until the business is purchased

The funniest thing about Cluckster’s is that I passed by it and never saw it until last week. I wanted to eat chicken but my friends insist on having burger or Pizza. So, we wanted to go to Blaze or Five guys. Suddenly, I saw Cluckster’s. I had the shortest ordering process with the cashier, 9 piece chicken tenders and that was the whole conversation. I guess it was ~$ 10 – 11(very inexpensive). The taste was awesome and I am sure you cannot find a better chicken in College Park downtown. the collection of sauces over there was perfect.

I used to love ordering from here, but after the experience I’m currently having, being sick as a dog from their food, I’m never eating here again. I found a hair in my food. That’s right, under the breaded surface of my fried chicken. I figured it was no big deal, but that I should call the restaurant just to let them know. Well, let me just say the whole thing was handled oddly, with(I presume the manager, he never gave me any credentials) the male staff person I was transferred to stating, «I’m not saying that didn’t happen, but…» Okay, I work in customer service. Let’s get something straight: don’t ever start by telling a customer who’s calling with a concern, openly announcing they want no credit or refund, that what they’re saying might not be true. It was just totally bizarre. Setting this oddity aside, I ate the rest of my meal. Well, now I’m awake in the wee hours of the morning, sick as dog, unable to leave our bathroom — sorry, that’s gross, but so is the fact that I paid for something that got me here. I would seriously recommend avoiding Cluck U until they improve their employees’ hygienic practices.

Went in about an hour before closing time on a Sunday. Ordered 30 wings, half traditional and half nuclear, two orders of fries, and two orders of their Sugar Bees. Waited for what seemed like 20 minutes only to have the mess up my order. I recieved my fries but only got 21 wings and no Sugar Bees. Tried to call when I got home but no answer. I can now add them to my «no fly» list. I’ve worked food service before and I just don’t understand why things like this happen. I spend my hard earned money on your establishment the least you can do is give me what I pay for. You don’t even have to be nice to me. Poor. Poor. Poor.

My delivered food was awful. Plain and simple, my Grubhub order was clear as day, receipt in tow, yet I didn’t get what I paid for. Step #1: Follow. The. Directions. Step #2: Check. Order. It’s just that simple! Sadly, I won’t opt to spend my hard earned money here again any time soon, and I strongly suggest you spend yours elsewhere, too.

This is the best chicken in College Park, bar none. The chicken here is what B-Dubs should be. The chicken is tender and juicy, and the breading is absolutely perfect. Then there are the sauces. While I do love myself some Asian Zing, their sauces here range from tasty to please-call-911. And the boneless wings are massive, too. Absolutely worth the extra money. Then there’s the service. The lady at the counter was an angel. My debit card wouldn’t work — stupid bank — and she gave me a complimentary discount on the wings because of something outside my control. That seriously made my day when it happened. I definitely plan on coming back here.

I’ve had the chicken tenders and fries. I was very pleased with the customer service and the quality of the food. The tenders were moist and hot. The fries just like we all like them(crispy on the outside and moist on the inside). On the sauce, they’re not stingy so your not trying to save the sauce. Not only do the offer it on your food. If you really like it, they have more on the tables! This is the only place I will get my tenders or wings from when I’m in the mood. Prices are so-so, but what is cost when you’re getting your food the way you like it?

Absolutely empty. We were the only two customers and they left the sauce off of the wings. You have got to be kidding me.

New name, new look, same wings. I stop by whenever I’m in the area. The renovation is nice, definitely much cleaner, but I miss the old ambience Wings are great with the sauce or on the side. The chicken sandwiches are great too, recommend the Roman

Personally I think this is a solid joint. They know how to get that fried chicken to have that perfect crisp outside and still retain its tenderness. And they seem to fry to order. Every time I have gone, it’s fairly empty and the staff is very nice. I’ve had their fried chicken sandwich and their salad, both were delicious. Maybe a little to much mayo on the sandwich but that’s preference. And their salad greens was not iceberg lettuce! Brownie points for Cluster’s! This place is def a good college food joint option. Of course, I’ve actually never been to Cluck U, which was what this place once was? So I’m not familiar with their background. Regardless, I’m definitely coming back.

I came to Cluckster’s several months ago to grab a quick bite to eat. I wanted chicken and my friend wanted mozzarella sticks, and Cluckster’s was advertising just that on their posted menu. Sweet. Since it was about 3PM when we arrived, there was no one in the restaurant’s post-lunch/pre-dinner hours. The cashier was SUPER nice to us, letting us taste the sauces before we ordered, throwing in free drinks, and generally explaining their menu and how things worked. I was pretty excited about the free drinks, not gonna lie, and I was feeling really good about my first visit to Cluckster’s. While waiting for our food, the manager came out to check on us, probably since we were the only customers, so I did appreciate that. He brought out a little cup of his personal favorite of the chicken sauces, which was really nice, and he gave us more scratch cards(which you get after paying to win little prizes like free drinks, fries, etc.) when ours were all losing cards. I thought that was so super nice of him and was thoroughly impressed with the service at Cluckster’s, you know? They found out it was our first time and seriously welcomed us. He even said that if we mention his name during our next visit, we’d get 15% off. Heck yeah! Our food came out and it was decent. Nothing to complain about or go mad raving about, just solid snacking on wings and mozzy sticks. But back to our service. The manager came back out while we were eating to ask how we were enjoying the food. We told him it was good and thanked him for being so nice to us for our first visit. I wish I could end the review here, but unfortunately, the manager was being a bit too friendly and we haven’t returned since. He didn’t do anything bad or illegal, but I think he overstepped boundaries a bit and it made us feel extremely uncomfortable. It was one of those gestures where maybe if it was someone else, it would have been well-received. It’s a funny story to tell, but, needless to say, we won’t be using that 15% discount anytime too soon.

I havent been to this Cluck-U in about 5ish years. When I got there and saw Cluckster’s I was a but confused, but the Cluckster’s is more or less the same thing. Cleaner though. Didnt have the 911 style this past time. The thermonuclear seemed a little less hot than i remember though. So, I guess next time, I’ll have to go with the 911. The variety of style is always a win at cluck-U. The wings are always pretty awesome. Maybe not the best in the world, but still good stuff. Much cleaner than it used to be. All renovated. TVs and all.
