As person with gluten intolerance finding good pizza can be a real(and expensive) challenge. Blaze is above and beyond delicious. For $ 7.85(a little more for the gluten free crust) you can choose any toppings your little heart desires. They are very conscientious if you tell them you have an allergy, even getting a separate sauce and new ladle from the back. I love it because I can get anything I want, and my husband loves it because he doesn’t have to split a gluten free crust with me. We have never had a bad experience and the service is great.

Fast. Delicious. That’s all you need to know. I could eat this several times a week. Prices are good and staff are always courteous.

I’ve been here two or three times. I love the concept– made to order, personal sized pizzas. They have every topping you could ever want, the portions are very generous(I’ve never finished the whole thing in one sitting), and even though the line does get long, it moves quickly. Unfortunately I can only give it three stars because I’ve gotten sick afterward every time. I think it may be the greasiness, but I’m not really sure. I really want to love Blaze, and I always enjoy it while I’m eating, but my stomach just can’t handle it, so I’ve had to say goodbye.

Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza is the coolest pizza bar to date. They have signature pizzas(such as the Meat Eater, Red Vine, Simple Pie) as well as the option to build you own individual pizza with unlimited toppings only for $ 7.85. Although if you are sensitive to gluten, this may not be the best place to dine as all pizzas are made with wheat-based flour. After specifying what type of pizza you wanted, you proceed to picking the sauce and have choices among Classic Red Sauce, Spicy Red Sauce, White Cream Sauce, Pesto Drizzle, BBQ Drizzle, and Olive Oil Drizzle. After selecting the sauce, you proceed to picking the cheese(s) and have choices among Goat Cheese, Gorgonzola Cheese, Mozzarella, Ovalini Mozzarella, Parmesan, Ricotta, and Vegan Cheese. After selecting the cheeses, you proceed to picking the meat(s) and have choices among Applewood Bacon, Crumbled Meatballs, Grilled Chicken, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Salami, and Smoked Ham. After selecting the meat(s), you proceed to picking the veggies and have choices among Artichokes, Arugula, Banana Peppers, Bell Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes, Chopped Garlic, Fresh Basil, Jalapeños, Mushrooms, Olives, Pineapple, Red Onions, Red Peppers, Sautéed Onions, Spinach, and Zucchini. Some of toppings vary per availability. I ended up getting a pizza with Classic Red Sauce topped with Mozzarella Cheese, Grilled Chicken, Roasted Garlic, Sautéed Onions, Mushroom, Black Olives, and Artichokes. I like how it was baked in a brick oven, done in 180 seconds, and thin crusted. It is perfect when you’re tight on time. I also liked how it tasted delicious and was great value. You can’t beat the taste and the price. For drinks, I had the choice among Freshly Brewed Iced Tea, Regular Lemonade, Blood Orange Lemonade, and other fountain beverages for under $ 2.00. The Blood Orange Lemonade was a bit sweet but was quite refreshing.

First time here. I really didn’t feel like being creative, so I went with one of the signature pizzas already on the menu. The Meat Eater which has pepperoni, meatballs, and mozzarella, and purple onions(which I would swap for the sauteed onions). At this location the staff is super nice and they have no problem explaining the menu and what to order. I give this pizza a B– in comparison to these new make your own Chipoltle-style franchises. This place is definitely 2nd to &pizza, because of the ingredients. Here they keep it simple. I’m comparing this to The MAVERICK, which contains Classic Tomato, Fresh Mozzarella, Salami, 39-Day Aged Pepperoni, Classic Fennel Italian Sausage, Oregano Oil, and Parmesan Reggiano. Yeah, tough act to follow… I do like the crust here, its’s light and crispy and their sauce is good, so I will make my way back here again. Next, I would like to try their BBQ Chicken Pizza with banana peppers. The guy behind me in line was telling me how good that one was. The good thing about these new pizza places, its just enough pizza to eat extra or to save some, for less than 9 or $ 10 bucks.

Today I had the worst experience of my life this your restaurant. I ordered online and after doing it I called and confirmed that they received the special order with it. The lady in the other line of the phone which is the cashier was extremely rude and she just stated: yes we did. But she actually didn’t. When I arrived all my order was wrong, cold and the ladies were making bad faces. Rolling their eyes and being very rude to me. I am so sorry but you just lost me as a client. Please hire better people. They are the worst… I gave them 2 stars just because the idea is great and the pizza is good…

Blaze Pizza is great. I had to be persuaded to come by a friend during a visit to UM College Park. So glad l came! We came around 7:30 and there was a long line reminiscent of Chipotle so l figured it must be good, so l took my place at the end. Well, the line moved much faster than l thought. When it was our turn to order, there were an assembly line of workers on the other side of the counter ready to top our pies with whatever we desired from their extensive toppings display. First, you start off by ordering your crust regular or gluten free, then your sauce(6 varieties including traditional red, white, pesto and bbq), your choice of seven cheeses(including a vegan variety) along with a vast array of veggie or meat toppings and get this, all for one price. I was stoked! As we moved along the line as the servers created our one of a kind pizzas, the finale was watching our discs of goodness get placed in a blazing hot oven for, get this, 180 seconds! Perfection! Baked just right with the perfect crunch of the crust, not too soft and not too hard, just right. The cheese was melted just right and wasn’t brown and hard, like it could have gotten. My choice of toppings proved to be a wise as all of those flavor profiles came to gather wonderfully. Blaze has signatures pizzas that you can order without the hassle of deciding among their endless available toppings. They also have salads and to satisfy your sweet tooth, they have individual s’mores pies. At the Laurel location they have chicken wings and l will be there to check those out and review it. At the College Park location, they had an amazing blood orange lemonade. Wonderful! So if you are in the area, give them a try. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

This is my convenience post-workout meal. Every time I visit Blaze, I am never disappointed. The service and pizzas are consistently great. On top of that, I can add any extra toppings to my pizza without any additional cost. I especially enjoy having the BBQ chicken pizza! First time at Blaze and i’m a fan. I don’t see myself coming here too often, but if I’m in the CP area I’ll definitely consider it. Went at 7p, prime dinner time, so I wasn’t too surprised at the line that wrapped around the restaurant. They get you through as quick as they can and that was appreciated because after a while it can feel a little claustrophobic, especially when your waiting for your pizza to be finished cooking. What I ordered: BYO– Build your own with gluten free crust. It’s a simple rice dough crust from what I can tell, not bad compared to some of the crusts I’ve tried, but Ledo’s GF crust is still my fave! Spicy tomato sauce Mozzarella cheese Italian sausage Pepperoni Green Peppers Jalapenos Black olives They have tons of toppings to choose from and feel free to get greedy it’s all the same price! Biggest complaint which is barely a complaint… They don’t have a container of red peppers to put on your pizza. Just parm cheese. They do however have packets you can ask for! So hence the«barely» a complaint! :)

Blaze never disappoints. I love the spicy tomato sauce. I love how the team just gets along so well; every time I walk into Blaze, I get reassurance they genuinely appreciate their own company. I get honest recommendations too when I ask questions. I have a ton of appreciation for the people behind the counter.

The pizza is 3 stars, but the smores dessert that they have was delicious and worth a star upgrade. I came here on a Friday night(probably around 7/7:30), and while the service was fine and the staff was friendly, the morale just seemed kind of low. There wasn’t a long line in front of us, but as it got later, the line for noticeably longer– I guess this is a popular place in College Park! This was my first time at Blaze, so naturally I felt overwhelmed and didn’t know what to order. Instead, I decided to look down the line and see what other people were ordering. I saw one that looked good, and did my best to match up what the person ahead ordered with one of the pizzas on the menu board. I did my best, but I picked the wrong thing because what I ordered did not match up with what I was aiming for. I ended up with the red vine which was fine, it just wasn’t what I was expecting when I placed the order. This isn’t Blaze Pizza’s fault… I take full responsibility for my ignorance. Next time, I will go with the popular vote which seems to be Build Your Own. I liked the crust. It was thin and crispy on the edges but still sturdy and soft for a good bite of pizza. The Red Vine pizza(similar to a margherita pizza) was saucy but on the watery side. If you don’t finish all of your pizza, they have handy little take-out boxes stacked around the place for the extra slices that you have left over. Lastly, the s’more pie was amazing! They can heat it up for you if you want it to be toasted. The marshmallow was nice and soft and the graham cracker cookie was delicious.

Honestly the best pizza option around. I was so impressed with Blaze — my pizza was piled with a wonderful assortment of toppings(they have a fantastic and big selection of toppings!) and after seeing how beautiful my pizza looked as it went into the oven, I was shocked that it only came out to be around $ 8. When they call your name you can add a few last toppings. The pesto drizzle is delicious! The crust turns out uniform and lightly crispy. The pizzas are perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious(how can you not love a pizza that you customized, after all.) Service is awesome. They don’t give you any attitude when you get greedy haha. Lastly, I love that this place has a ton of great seating! And the ambiance is really nice.

As all Gluten Free eaters know, gluten free pizzas are rather horrid; no matter how good the toppings are, the dry and chalky crust usually destroys the pizza eating experience. Not at Blaze! I had heard my friends rave about Blaze before, but I had mostly disregarded it thinking it was a CP-student thing(they all attended UMCP while I went out of state). But the hype was all real, and all worth it. I got the«build your own» gluten free pizza(extra $ 3) and added both types of mozzarella on top of the classic red sauce, bacon, chicken, black olives, fresh basil, jalepenos, garlic, red peppers and red onions. The server was quite generous with the toppings and never hesitated to ask«any other(toppings)?» A mere $ 10 for a pizza with ALL the(fresh!!) ingredients I want? On a gluten free crust? Baked in front of my eyes? The crust was crunch on the edges while very moist and pleasantly chewy everywhere else. One negative thing about this kind of crust is that because it’s so non-chalky and non-dry, it’s hard to lift up a piece as everything kind of slides off(the inner crust kind of looks and tastes like under-cooked dough). But I still prefer this to cardboard tasting crust I’ve had everywhere else. My boyfriend got the Chicken BBQ signature pizza and it looked rather bare compared to mine. If you’re an everything lover and would rather get the bang for your buck, choose the«build your own» option. Though the pizzas here are already very reasonably priced for the big 11′ pizza. One note though: the parking patrols are strict like no other. We got a parking ticket because our car was parked facing the wrong direction(in a one-way parking lot). I have also heard horror stories about CP students getting tickets while eating in this area so be sure to fill up the parking meters and confirm the direction of your parked car!

You can either order one of their creations or, better yet, create your own. We chose to create our own. You start with a base thin crust(they have gluten free crust too) and you build it from there. Only your imagination limits what you can put on. We had crumbled sausage, pesto, arugula, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, crushed garlic and pineapple. It’s pizza done right. For my OC friends, this is like Pieology in the Irvine Spectrum.

Personal-sized pizzas, made and cooked to order, in a «Chipotle» style assembly-line. The thin, flakey crust is really good(probably from being fresh-made). Crust is good enough that the cheaper single-topping or no-toppings(sauce only) versions would be tasty options. As it was, the meat-lovers toppings almost overwhelmed the light crust(still very tasty). A good value considering the 7.65 price(+tax) is about the same as buying two single slices, which would be less fresh. Surprisingly good and better than I expected. I’ll definitely be visiting again.

Love this place! Think Chipotle but for pizza. The pepperoni is good. And the white pizza is the best I have had in a VERY long time. Lots of topping and choices. Different sauces, regular, spicy, white. Different cheese. Then the pizza is placed in this cute little fire burning oven for 3 minutes and then your delicious pizza awaits. They even call you by name when your pizza is ready. Priced like Chipotle too. Awesomeness.

Does anyone else remember the Seinfeld episode where Kramer comes up with the ingenious idea to have a pizza joint where you build your own pizza? Kramer’s idea was to have people tossing their own dough and putting the pizza in the oven themselves… ANYWAYS, Blaze makes it way easier by building the pizza for you. You can either do the build your own pizza or choose from one of their specialty pizzas. They also have salads too. The build your own and the specialty pizzas are the same price(so in my opinion, it makes more sense to do the build your own). You start off by telling them your name so they can keep track of your pizza. You can choose the sauce(red, white, spicy red, none), cheeses, meats, veggies, etc. And they put whatever you ask for! If your little heart desires all 6 types of cheese, then BAM they put it on. They have tons of options! When you’re done building your pizza they fire it up in their brick oven and call your name when its ready. At the end you can ask for them to drizzle bbq sauce, pesto, olive oil, etc. or add arugula to your pizza. The service here was really good! The people behind the counter were were very friendly and joked with us as we waited in line. I think this place is gonna do great especially in this college town. Can’t wait to come again!

Friendly, fast, crisp, DELICIOUS. I can’t believe I never tried this place when I worked in College Park. The price is affordable; $ 10 for a pizza and drink. If you really wanted to, you could do unlimited toppings. I was able to make two meals out of one pizza.

Blaze Pizza Recipe: Serving Size: 1 serving Ingredients: Great service & friendly people, pizza dough for awesome thin crust, infinite toppings Prep time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 180 seconds Step 1: Choose your type of pizza — you can either customize your pizza or choose from one of the signature combos(i.e. meatlovers, artichoke lovers, red vine, bbq chkn). It comes on a thin crust, 11-in personal size, about $ 8.00. Great portion and price for a hearty appetite! Step 2: Customizing pizza means ALLTHETOPPINGS. First, sauce. They let you mix and match sauces so I got the spicy red sauce and a few dollops of white cream as well. Good variety of cheese, meat, and veggie toppings. Take your pick! Step 3: Pay and watch them cook your pizza in 3 minutes. You can request from a variety of drizzles to top your pizza before they box it up — pesto drizzle, olive oil, etc. Step 4: Enjoy and come back tomorrow! So all in all — delicious pizza, reasonably cheap, and ready to eat in 180 seconds!(lol) The interior is modern/woodsy/orange-accented and you step in line to order your pizza, complete with sauce, toppings, and drizzle at the counter, Chipotle-style! The conveyor-belt, made-to-order servicing style is becoming more and more popular, and more and more classy these days. The pizza comes out with nice & gooey cheese and is perfectly cooked to a light crisp & char. My new favorite place in College Park! :D

This place is very refreshing. Until recently College Park has just been a vast landscape of mediocre restaurants. A decent number of choices, but nothing particularly good. For quick food the best reliable option has been Chipotle but even that particular location(downtown not the one on 193) doesn’t perform up to par. Over the last two years we have been very fortunate to see a number of new and [relatively] exciting places to eat. No longer are we just limited to the old stalwarts such as Food Factory and Marathon Deli. Many new restaurants came, and in true Darwinian fashion some died out as quickly as they had arrived. What does this say about the community? It says that expectations are getting higher, and I am glad to say that some of the newer restaurants are really helping to set the bar even higher. I’m not going to go into detail describing the ordering process, many other reviewers have already done so. The pizza here is a mixture between Neapolitan and New York style, thin crust but fired at a nice high heat so that it gets some of the charactteristic Neapolitan blistering char flavor. There are a huge number of ingredient options, and just because they don’t charge extra, doesn’t mean that you should ask for everything. This is truly one of those cases where simplicity is rewarding. Firstly because it gives you chance to really taste the dough/sauce/toppings, and secondly(and possibly more importantly) because overloading such a thin pizza will lead to uneven cooking(its simply not possible to thoroughly cook the pizza without burning the exterior) and in some cases you can also have a soggy pizza if the veggies give up too much moisture. For my first pizza I got the classic crust, the spicy sauce, ovalini mozzarella, basil, salami, and red onions(I know, I’m almost going against my own advice with the number of toppings). And I have to say that it was delicious, even after driving it home in sub-freezing temperatures. And the price? Fuggedaboudit! $ 7.65. Ive paid more on campus for a stale soggy sandwich. They even have a plain and simple option for $ 5. These are great deals no matter how you look at it. I can wholeheartedly say that I will be returning. And I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a good pizza, heck even just anyone who is hungry. College Park is really better off with a place like this. The other pizza joints are going to have to step up their game.
