I really missed this place family celebrated so many milestones there, I had my 30th birthday party and was hoping to have my 40th there. Does anyone know who owns it, I would love to get some investor together to reopen the place. I’m call Spike networks«Bar Rescue» LOL!!!

Sad to see this place is closed(though it seems it may come back after they fix all the flood damage). We had our wedding reception there and they were excellent to us, very accommodating and helpful. They gave us a great menu and worked with us to make our event special. Great food, great staff, and the décor is very nice and rustic, with a great view of the airport. We’ve also been there for their insane holiday brunches. Way too much food choices, and all of it good. Hopefully this opens up again soon.

Rave reviews for everything — atmosphere, food quality, service — all excellent. But I do believe the place has closed down for good. We haven’t been by to look-see but their phone number is disconnected and their website says operations have discontinued. If true, very sad day in hell; this was a great fun place to dine. The 3 other locations are apparently still open, in CA, IL and FL.

This place is close to my house, and I love going there with either friends from out of town or just the immediate family. The menu is very nice, with entrees, soups and salads that are both homey and elegant. The décor is very nice too: simple but intimate. The only objection I have is that on weekdays at lunch, they allow businesses to have corporate lunches, which can get noisy. Perhaps a separate room for them would be nice so everyone could coexist and those would want to could have a quiet lunch too.

High salutes for service and food quality. 94ths are a franchise similar to Chart House, and this one does not disappoint. They serve a very decent entrée of crab cakes. I’ve brought large groups and VIPs here with great satisfaction. It’s not the best service or food quality I’ve ever had, but it’s solid and consistently good… a great value for mid-upper range. The outdoor patio is a nice after-work gathering spot. Also note… in a post SEP2001 era, not much takes off or lands at College Park airport these days.

I have been to this place for brunch and dinner. Most recently for brunch. The young staff is not really attentive but the food makes up for it. We were seated, waited for our server, then decided to just go help ourselves to the buffet. When we got back to our seats we had water! yay! The server arrived 10 minutes in our meal. Bacon, sausage, grits, eggs, an omelette station, carving station, pasta, salads, crab legs, shrimp, desserts and more! Brunch is from 10a-2pm but after 12 you can have a free mimosa(only one!) If you are the romantice type — go for dinner. The place is dimly lit and very quite. Great view of the runway — which usually showcases a family of deer running after each other!

Good food and good service here. laid back, not pushy, a different atmosphere than you are normally accustomed too around the area. no hustle and bustle outside — just a very unique setting at a very historic location. (the oldest working airport in the world) where the wright brothers used to teach pilots i shattered my collar bone outside the place in a bike accident — i got insdie and they gave me a bathroom to clean up in and ice for my shoulder till my «ride» got there.

I worked here years ago, and hated working here, so when I don’t give compliments to this restaurant lightly. The food is pretty darn good. If you go to the 94th, you will get an above average meal. Especially the Sunday brunch. The brunch is fantastic. Come hungry. The ambiance is nice. It’s a french farmhouse look with all kinds of mixed WWI and WWII décor all over, big band music playing in the background. You can watch the planes take off and land on the College Park airport strip, if you dine at the right time. Again, great food, nice looking place, decent service, but don’t, for the love of God, ever work there.

94th Aero Squadron was an interesting place to stop for dinner — it was on our way home from NYC. The place was nicely landscape with couple of airplanes on the grass and the dcor inside showed photos and items of the old old old times. The restaurant over looks College Park airport runway — but we couldn’t see it because of the tall trees/bushes blocking our view. We order buffalo wings(sauce on the side), salads with ranch dressing and salmon. The salmon with garlic mash potatoes and veggies were GREAT! And of course we stuff our self with bread and popcorn. Check it out if you’re in the area!
