Great place. The views here are amazing. We used the yellow trail to hike around the park. There is a water wheel, monument, a old brick building. The walk is short, only takes 30 mins to go through the 0.5 mile hike.

Although similar in size to a European sized postage stamp – A FRANCOBOLLI– (less than an acre/​hectacre, MacRae says, lol) the view this ‘yak launch affords is ah-​mazing! From Foundry Dock Park you can see across to West Point, Constitution Marsh Sanctuary as well as the stately hilltop Chapel of Our Lady. The park also makes a great picnic or meet up spot. If you launch your yak just keep an eye out for Cupcake Island which is right in the middle. Smash! :)))
Foundry Dock Park is part of Scenic Hudson and is located on the western shore of the Cold Spring Train Station’s parking lot which offers free parking on weekends.
