This place is awful. New to the area and decided to try them out for delivery. Since they are right around the corner thought it’s worth a shot and would be quick… NOT! I waited an hour before calling them back to ask about my order and they haven’t even started making it yet. 1 and a half hours later I finally received the two pizzas. We ordered Tomato Basil and Tomato Bacon Ranch pizzas. They looked decent… but… they tasted absolutely horrible. The crust is very thick and tough to chew. It was incredibly greasy and salty. In fact, that’s all I could taste on either of the pizzas: Salt and Grease. It sat in my stomach like a brick. I definitely won’t be trying them again.

Best tomato bacon ranch pizza INTHEWORLD. Biggest calzone I’ve ever seen, absolutely MASSIVE. This place is my go-to, but pick up only. I can’t see them charging $ 3.00 for delivery, when you’re placing a $ 30.00+ order. That’s pretty much the only downfall. Ridiculous delivery charge.

We love Mick’s! Pizza is sooooo good, best in this area by far. Wings are great, and the fried mac and cheese bites are amazing! They delivery too!

I used to be obsessed with Mick’s, and if I am craving some greasy fattening food, I still order from here. BUT, every time I do, I regret it the next day. The pizza tastes so good while you’re eating it, but it is so incredibly salty. I am not kidding when I say that I wake up in the middle of the night and guzzle water and feel so bloated because of it. If you can deal with that, I do enjoy their options. If you enjoy calzones, they have some very impressive ones. They are HUGE, almost like a pizza just folded in half. Subs are good too. Probably as good as it gets in Cohoes.

We got delivery, which took longer due to a forgotten item(just a note — if you have hot item’s its a good idea to leave them and then get the rest of the order). That said, its not our first time and usually the delivery is about 45 – 60 min. The norm. The food is really good. But holy hotness, when they say hot they mean it! But I like a good burn, so I come back for more. The salads are pretty good, and the wings are tasty. The two rivers pizza is delicious, and the calzones are amazing. I definitely recommend. The hot turkey open faced sandwich is one of the best things on the menu. Seriously. Just get the gravy on the side or its too mushy.

The hubby and I were craving pizza one Sunday night so since our typical Pizza joint is closed on Sundays, we had to improvise. I’m sure we just found a new favorite spot. We got the ricotta and spinach pizza with garbage bread. The pizzas in New York are double the size from the South so it’s shocking how much we can get for the money! My hubs LOVES their garbage bread and I agree, very good. I only gave it 4 stars because there was a certain spice on the garbage bread that was very overwhelming for me. Not sure what it was but it didn’t stop me from eating it. Place is great, give it a try.

New to the area and have not found a decent pizza yet. Mick’s came the closest but really didnt impress me. Tastes like high school cafeteria pizza. The sauce did not taste home made and the crust was unevenly textured. The crust had a good flavor but that was all.

Shit. I ordered the ziti. It was 2.5 inches of cheese on top of undercooked pasta and a link of cheap Italian sausage link chucked into it like dog food. The texture of the bread was similar to chewing a used kitchen sponge. I can’t understand why people are giving this place good reviews. It’s absolute rubbish.

My boyfriend and I order from them all the time. He ALWAYS gets the cheeseburger sub, I switch it up. The french frys are always perfect. We even used them for my birthday party, we had lasagna, pizzas and sauage and pepper. The sausage and pepper was unbeatable.

We’ve ordered take-out from Mick’s a few times in the last couple of months and I’m impressed with their pizza. They specialize in NY style pizza and the crust has a nice dusting of garlic that makes it very tasty. Generally we order pepperoni pizza but we’ve also had sausage which is thin sliced and very delicious. The sauce and cheese are also very good so you can’t go wrong here if you want this style of pizza. If you order their garlic sticks you’ll have more than you thought because the sticks are HUGE. The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 is because the menu is limited but that is not a bad thing if you only want pizza and wings.

Nothing to recommend in this pizza. I cant remember the last time I’ve had worse. The crust was average, the sauce was incredibly bland, and the sausage was thick and undercooked. The pizza was extremely greasy. Just left a bad taste in the mouth.

I work at a pizza place that runs non-stop commercials on ever channel possible every day of the week. With that said, i can’t remember the last time i’ve had a slice of our own product due to it being tasteless and having a crust that makes you think you’re chewing on your jeans due to it’s texture and no taste. I’m not a big toppings man, so plain cheese is usually my choice. Mick’s is the perfect spot when it comes to that. Sauce is good and the pizza has a nice garlic taste to it. The wings aren’t the sexiest i’ve seen, but the hot sauce they use leaves you craving another round in the near future. My mouth is watering just writing this review lol. This place is definitely worth a try!

So apparently, this place won one of the local«Pizza Wars.» That lowers my confidence in the whole Pizza Wars thing even more. Look, it’s decent pizza, but you can get decent pizza pretty much anywhere around here. I wasn’t impressed and found it to be pretty average. Pop’s is definitely better in the immediate idea.

Pizza is much better when you buy a slice or two rather than when you buy a whole pie. Overly greasy, even for pizza. My least favorite thing about micks is that they are never open. They close super early every night and there are no set closing times. I get it, some nights you’re slow and want to close, but if you’re not open, no chance you’ll ever be busy.

Since moving to Cohoes two years ago, Micks has been my go to pizza. Great seasoning on the crust, delicious toppings, and great sides/starters. The BBQ boneless wings are great and the calzones are HUGE.

After moving to Cohoes I was told Mick’s was the best thing there and I had to try it. I don’t know why I waited so long. I wasn’t in the mood for regular pizza and they have a variety of specialty pies so I tried the Shrimp Scampi pizza. The white pizza is very good complete with a garlic seasoned crust but the shrimp were really tiny. Not that I expected anything a whole lot bigger because its just a pizza topping. No one else was interested in it so I just got a small for myself. It only takes about 2 slices to fill you up so I had plenty left over. This is the only reason I wouldn’t try the Shrimp Scampi pizza again. I have to be in a certain mood to be craving it and shrimp isn’t quite as good reheated. The wings were also surprisingly tasty. I ordered medium for myself which weren’t hot but had great flavor instead. But I found myself getting addicted to the honey bbq wings my gf ordered. I thought the prices were very reasonable also. Good value for the money.

I come upstate to Cohoes to help out with family stuff and when I do, Mick’s is my quick food goto spot. Great pizza. They really get the sauce right and know how to make a well done pie if you ask for it. Their salads are good too. They’re large and filled with fresh ingredients. The subs are fantastic as well. The bread that they use is crusty but not overly tough or chewy. I“m really glad that this place is just down the hill. The staff is friendly as well.

Agree with the other reviews, except that the garlic they use on their crust is powdered. I think it would make it loads better if they just fresh garlic it up in their butter and spread it on the crust. If you’re in the area and deliver to your home, I’m jealous. I wish I could do that. This place is comparable to DeFazio’s.

This is by far the best pizza in the Cohoes/Latham /Watervliet area. The crust is not too thick and not too thin, with the perfect crunch outside and chewy inside. Mick’s also seasons the dough, which makes all the difference in the taste, and is pretty uncommon particularly among the larger chain pizza places. Mick’s has nearly 30 toppings to choose from, in addition to a great variety of specialty pizzas, subs, salads and sides. Their wings are also very good. Although they don’t have an exceptional variety of flavors, the wings are generously sized, nicely cooked and tasty. The only negatives: some of the staff is without much personality and enthusiasm. The venue itself is also lacking in terms of space and atmosphere, so I recommend you get your food to go or have it delivered. Normally the quality of service and ambiance of a place factor more heavily into my rating… but with pizza this good, who cares?

I was not expecting much from Mick’s, as it occupies a small storefront alongside a laundromat. That’ll teach me to judge a book by its cover. There are three pizza places in Cohoes, and when I first moved here, I mistakenly believed that the PIZZACHALLENGE would be between House and Hometown, both on Remsen, but Mick’s came out of nowhere and beat them both! It’s all in their crust. I am normally not too concerned with the crust, but Mick’s puts enough garlic and pepper in theirs to make it something you’d eat on its own. The two times I’ve gotten a pizza here, it’s been cooked just right so that the crisp shell belies a soft chewy interior. Even better, you can sometimes find coupons to get a 6-slice cheese pie for extremely cheap. Actually, I think it was free, but I added a few toppings. Kudos to Mick’s.
