Altered

I can’t say enough great things about this place! I took my daughter here to get her prom dress altered and it was totally last minute (as in, I dropped it off on a Wednesday and the prom was on Friday!!) Lynn, the owner, could not have been nicer! She is a master at what she does with an incredible eye for detail. Look no further if you need alterations, Altered in Cohasset is THE place to go!

Lynn did an excellent job and is a great addition to the south shore! I initially came in to have a bridesmaids dress taken-​in and shortened. She did great job and as she guarantees, it was done within a week! When I came back, I brought her a zipper fix which was done in less than a week. Not only is she efficient with time, she also takes good care and notices fixes that the blind eye may not initially notice. I appreciated her time and consideration for both pieces – both of which are very comfortable and look like new now!
I haven’t compared many prices in the south shore but I would say hers are fair. Alterations in general can be a bit pricey and given the care and quick-​turnaround, I would say she is a great choice.
She is a seasoned seamstress who is «new» only to the location – she has over 20 years in the industry. I’d highly recommend her!
Her shop is located in a wonderful location right on Cohasset Harbor. (She only takes cash or check.)
