Wow Beauty Salon & Spa

This was my first time at Wow Salon. I was «wowed» by the friendly staff and the clean and modern decorated salon. I’m a chair hopper when it comes to pedicures and decided to give Wow a try. I’m glad I did.
I had a relaxing pedicure and a gel manicure with new staff member Nanette. I felt very welcomed. We had pleasant convo and my weathered hands and feet look renewed. The pedi was gentle and the polish is perfect. I’m picky and my polish pet peeve is when they leave space between nail and cuticle. She didn’t do that.
She gave me information of services offered by stylists and the esthetician. The salon is beautiful and very professional. I will be back.

The salon environment is nice and comfortable! I’ve had both my hair and nails done here. Sometimes there can be a miscommunication if you’re not fluent in Spanish as this has happened to me several times regarding prices. What may be quoted on the phone is different once you’re there. The stylists do wonderful jobs! After coming back from vacation, I was told by the owner Heidi they can fit me in at 8:30 before a 9:00 a.m. scheduled appointment. I called to say I was running 10 mins late, no answer. I got there within the 10 mins and the shop was closed. I waited until 8:55 still the shop was closed. I called 3x only to get the voicemail leaving messages. I had to leave! Thinking I would get at least return phone call apologizing but there was none! I called at 10:10 a.m. and spoke to Wally who told me my appointment was at 9:30am which was incorrect and still no apology until I mentioned it! This is unacceptable and I won’t be going back! This approach was not professional and its deemed unacceptable! It’s all about principles! They’ve just lost a customer to another, yet well deserved competitor!
