The restaurant is clean, modern and inviting so right away that’s 90% better than most restaurants in Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral area. However, despite the friendly service we were let down by the quality of the food. Many menu items sound decent, but then when you see the food arrive at the table you just know it’s going to be a sub par experience. Sorry, I didn’t have my phone to take pictures. I ordered the blackened mahi tacos. I’ll give them props for you using real fish like mahi and not crappy tilapia, but they did the fish a disservice by assembling it in a cold flour tortilla with thin shreds of iceberg lettuce. It was supposed to have some cabbage too, but my tacos didn’t have any. The fish was also oddly portioned with one large fish stick looking piece on each taco. The presentation and texture would be much better with multiple pieces of fish, or thinner strips. It takes a few extra cuts of the knife in the kitchen, but it’s not hard. Just like it’s not hard to heat the flour tortillas or throw them on the grill for a bit. Also, I don’t appreciate being charged extra for some crappy shredded cheese that costs 5 cents. The tacos came with some spicy ranch sauce, which was really the only thing providing any flavor in the tacos other than the fish. The pico that came with the tacos looked old and tired, and the taste was similar. The tacos came with a side of rice and black beans. There was no seasoning, no diced peppers, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, or sauce… just black beans and mushy, gloppy rice. I love black beans and rice, but I did not enjoy their version at all. My wife had the buffalo chicken salad and it was equally unimpressive. The biggest let down was the sysco style nuggets plopped from the freezer to the plate. Is it that hard to batter and fry actual pieces of chicken, and then toss it in some wing sauce? Apparently it is. Overall, the food just felt contrived. I doubt we’ll return.

The food was good this visit, however our server left much to be desired. She was flighty and less than attentive. I feel bad saying that because she was a very nice lady. She just seemed out of her element. She also mis quoted the price of a pitcher or beer she told us $ 7.25 and it was $ 11.25 on the bill. We never would have ordered it if we knew it was that price. My son also ordered a second kids meal(chicken tenders and fries) but she brought a basket with 2 tenders, instead of the 3 strips and fries. Plus he had 2 kids meals but did get a ice cream even though it comes with it, but the other kids were given theirs. All together three kids two adults $ 67 including tip and $ 15 of it was on alcoholic beverages was not bad. The mistakes with the meal were related to the server not the cook staff. I would go back and try again i would just request a different server and i would pay more attention to prices because we got alot of different small miscellaneous charges on our bill that added up for things like sauces for the buffalo shrimp and a pickle slice lol but still im pleased and will just chuck it up to a off night

Great new location right in famous Cocoa Beach. Long Doggers is great Brevard County staple with locations in many different corners of the county. Best wings in town by far, you’ll never go back to a Buffalo Wild wings, or foreboding hooters after you get some of these wings in you. And the best part is that wings are not the inly staple food, their Ahi Tuna tacos are the bomb and really hit the spot. Don’t forget their fish dip wit pita as an appetizer as well!

Who have thought the Mahi Reuben Sandwich would taste so great. I really enjoy a good Rueben and this added to the list. You have a choice of what flavor to grill the Mahi in and hey recommended the lemon pepper with it. For me, since I really enjoy a Reuben taste it was a bit strong but still a wonderful combo. If you are like me… I’d recommend doing a lighter grill. Really great atmosphere and service. I wish I could come back for the live music Saturday night but I had to catch a flight back home. I highly recommend to stay local enjoy those who dedicate their lives to the area. Couldn’t have been a better pick for my short visit. Thanks Unilocalers for recommending it, I came here based on other wonderful thoughts.

Off the main drag of the Ron Jon Cocoa Beach area this little hangout serves more than just footlongs. We stopped here on the recommendation from a friend and mostly enjoyed our first visit. Seemed to be popular with locals in the area including families. Long Doggers is a local chain with multiple locations across Florida. Obviously at a hot dog place you should get the hot dogs. Everyone in our group got the regular sized dogs as a late lunch with a few sides including waffle fries and onion rings. They all enjoyed their meals with no complaints. The buns looked extra bomb. I had the chips with salsa and queso but was not too impressed. Luke warm cheese that looks like the yellow cafeteria gunk they serve on nachos. Let down there considering it was over $ 5 for cheap, cold cheese dip. The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor seating area. Outdoor is very comfortable with a roof and fans to keep you cool. The area filled up quickly on this day after a VW meetup and a post surf competition group showed up. This made the outdoor area very busy all at once. Servers forgot one of our beverages and then charged someone else in the group for 2 drinks when they only ordered one. Service was decent but not great just like the food. We would probably come back but I think the overall quality is on par with average bar food. They could do better and offer more dogs considering that is their main brand. Cool spot to hangout after a beach day, though.

Super disappointed that we discovered this place on our last night here because this food/environment/service is a reminder that God exists and he loves me.

The food was good, not great but good. The staff however was excellent, so very friendly and knowledgable. It was«bar food» and prices were very reasonable. I’d go back again for drinks and the tacos but skip the hotdog, it’s a bit of a let down.

We normally go to The Longdoggers in Indialantic but really wanted to see the new one in Cocoa Beach. It is huge and very well done. The service is fantastic and of course the food is amazing. We go to Longdoggers at least twice on every vacation down and love that they have such a wide selection.

Service was great, portion sizes were perfect for the good prices. The food was delicious. Our table had seared ahi tuna tacos, grouper tacos, the fish and chips basket, and a burger. The waffle fries were really yummy. No liquor license yet but our friends had beer and there was wine on the menu. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the special was 19 cents peel and eat shrimp — a half pound for less than $ 4. We ordered a pound and it was gone pretty quick. Our friends had the fried calamari and they said it was some of the best they had. We will definitely go back.
