Big Apple Restaurant

Tried the restaurant for the first time today. My parents and niece were in town and we thought it would be nice to try a new to us place. 7 of us for lunch. There was only 1 other group of 2 when we showed up. Originally the server was attentive however after placing our orders our visit went downhill. Niki ordered the APPETIZERS GREEK SAMPLER, my niece the chicken cheese quesadilla, I got wings and lily got spaghetti and meatballs, and my mom a cheesesteak. Unfortunately the errors started after placing our order. Niki got her food a full 5 minutes before the rest of us. She received the meal sampler instead, but decided to keep it. At least the food was good. My niece’s quesadilla the tortilla was soft and flexible they have no salsa or sour cream… so just chicken/​cheese and soft tortilla shell and the chicken was cold. The cheesesteak my mom got had no seasoning. Lily’s spaghetti came out without meatball. We asked for parmesan cheese… the waitress left our table and 5 minutes later I went to the front counter she had completely forgotten about the cheese as she was socializing. I started to eat my wings and found a hair in the sauce. My dad had an omelet and Dyllan had mozzarella sticks… they both came out issue free.
We had high hopes as this place is close to is. Although some things had good flavor the poor service and inconsistencies in food quality will prevent me from ever visiting again.

The food is good the staff are friendly. Although j do think they over price the deserts. $ 1 for a cookie the size of a quarter? That’s a little bit much

Great place for dinner with friends. The food is wonderful and the service is good. Go here a few times a month and have never been disappointed.

Fresh made lentil soup and a chicken salad sandwich on rye with lettuce and the most amazingly ripe tomato. Homemade chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Top notch. Just go.

This is a great little place out in the middle of nowhere (it seemed to us, anyway) that caught my husband’s eye when he was in the area for business recently. Several weeks later, we had houseguests, including one who loves horses, so he decided it would be a great time to take a scenic ride through horse country and try out the Big Apple.
We stopped in on a Saturday around one or so and it wasn’t busy, so service was quick. Everyone enjoyed their food — I tried the Greek pasta that came with a side Greek salad — it was very good, but I’m a garlic lover so I could’ve used more garlic, but hey, that’s just my preference. The salad was fresh and crisp, the pasta perfectly cooked. It was a really nice meal, with plenty of pasta left over for another meal or two.
My husband had the Greek platter with a variety of Greek specialties to try, my daughter had a really nice cheese hoagie, my nephew had the chicken parm sandwich, and his girlfriend had the Challah French toast. It was all really good.
Out waitress was really nice and helpful. Overall, it was a good visit. I would definitely stop in again sometime if I’m out that way!

Nick and Vicky are a great team! Homemade delicious soup, Greek souvlaki and gyros are to die for. Try the wings, you’ll be pleasantly surprised! We are always happy and full when we leave and can’t wait to come back again.

I like the Gyro Platter! And the salad and fries that come with it are good as well.

Great place to eat Nick the owner is a great and authentic cook. The food is superb I recommend you treat yourself to this great place to dine
