I can’t believe I ate hear. Has to have been one of the riskiest things I’ve done in my life! When the other reviews said the place was dirty it was kind. The bathroom doors are propped open because they don’t clean the bathrooms, and I literally mean they have never, ever cleaned them. EVER! It was black, moldy, Nats and bugs by the hundred. The overwhelming urge to puke quickly takes over. Old best up chairs and dirty walls. Ceiling falling down in one area and mold on another. Christmas decorations in May clog another hole in the ceiling. This county can not have a health inspector who has ever visited this place. If they have they should be brought up on charges for allowing this place to operate! Menu is handwritten and taped to the glass where the food was previously kept. Hard to read, follow and understand. Literally 2⁄3 of the light bulbs are burned out. Food small portions and meh at best. As I’m leaving I notice the toilet paper roll collapsible bar sitting nicely on the counter. I’m now confident I will not survive the night without dying from food poisoning or wishing I was dead because of the suffering it will put me through. Oh well, YOLO!

Food was not good Mongolian beef had no meat in it The place looked abandoned almost as if homeless people squat there. Bathrooms smell looks like they have never cleaned the place and people have been using the floor as the bathroom. From what I could see of the kitchen it was in bad condition. Serving station looked to have old food stuck and dried to the counter.

Don’t let the worn down exterior fool you. It almost fooled us! The food is much better than you might think. We had the eggplant with garlic sauce, orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. All were delicious. If you’re on the road and want something that isn’t drive thru fast food but still quick and yummy, I would recommend this place.

This is very good Chinese restaurant. It’s just on the side of the highway I5 to LA and it provides many kinds of Chinese food and also special lunch, $ 5.99 for 2 items and $ 6.99 for 3 items. It tastes very good.

The food isn’t that bad, but then again, the place is just really dirty. My wife wouldn’t even there. I just wonder how their kitchen looks. I wouldn’t go back unless they over hauled the place and kept it clean. The floor is horrible. The tables and chairs look like they haven’t been touched in years. I hope they survive, but please start cleaning.

The health department should shut down this restaurant. Filthy. Better to eat at Denny’s.

This place.. . My family and I endure the i5 often enough. Despite being just south of «Cowschwitz» this is not the worst stop on this dismal stretch of highway. I know that when you still have hours, to LA or San Fran, ahead of you is not the time to be an adventurous diner but trust me on this one. We have never been poisoned here. And it’s much better than the chain fast food places across the street. With large portions and the most eager service I have every received, this place is astounding. Devoted to your speedy dining experience the staff here are all fantastic. The décor is perfect.. . I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s like poetry. Oriental Express is part of the I5 experience.

avoid. Really dirty, food not safe, we all get stomach problems after. We knew we were taking risks but we could not expect to be that bad.

True authentic Chinese food. And the place even looks and smells like China. It’s not the cleanest venue and if you’re looking for Americanized Chinese food like Panda Express, move along. I recommend the combo plates. They also have self-serve chili sauce on the counter. The place is run by Chinese people, and it shows — complete with the yearlong Christmas lights and paper lanterns. Not that there is anything wrong with that. The plentiful bad reviews are Unilocalers expecting this hole-in-the-wall venue to be akin to massive chains like Panda Express. My(Chinese) boyfriend says the place smells like his grandma and the food tastes like his grandma’s cooking. True authentic Chinese food.

Stopped here because the Mexican place that used to be here closed. We ordered tofu and veggies and the tofu was fried(in advance) and completely saturated in grease which gave it a really odd aftertaste. The food was also burning hot, probably to prevent us from the food borne illness that it would have contained when it was made days ago. The food itself was not flavorful, but not offensive. Service was fast and meals came with rice. Probably won’t come here again, but the price was good for two quick meals.

Simply the worst!!! Been here May 9, 2013… A fast food with no level of cleanliness and the food was like crap!!! The whole place is dirty!!! Never again even if I starve. Please, if you love your health try some other fastfood restaurants. Thank you

Walked in to this restaurant… all the food was covered with lids to keep warm. as soon as I saw the rice burned to the bottom of the pot, noodles lookinglike they had been siting for hours, I booke it! Never again will I even stop here!!!

Third time in my life I walked into a restaurant, looked around, thought«Hells to the nuh-uh» and walked out. The dirtiness, the smell, the whole vibe of the place… all bad. I went to Harris Ranch across the street, spent three times as much, and was in the mood for Chinese food not steak. Scarifying!

There’s no better words to describe this other than it was a scary looking Chinese restaurant in the middle of a desert. It’s run by Asian people but for some reason that wasn’t comforting. We decided to stop by here just for the hilarity of it all and because my boyfriend’s grandmother refused to stop by for fast food. They also have AYCE for $ 8.99. Compared to a McDonald’s fry, the food looked surprisingly inedible. Because only the grandmother had the courage to eat anything here, this review is based off of her experience. She thought the rice was good, the vegetables were terrible, and the chicken was decent. No one in this restaurant knew English.

Stay away! My buddies were craving something different after a weekend of booze and Mexican food and we happened upon this place on our way home to Nor cal. We should of walked away right when we walked in. The floors looked like they have never been mopped and the bathroom looks comparable to an outhouse. But for some reason me and friends had hope. I had the spicy chicken and a mix of fried rice and chow mein. Let me first say I am not picky with food and I will usually eat anything and everything, but the spicy chicken tasted like it was days old. I stopped eating that after the first bite. The fried rice also tasted like it was cooked yesterday. The chow mein was the weirdest tasting chow mein I have ever had. Felt like I was eating earth worms drenched in oil. I should also mention that one of the air conditioning grates fell down from the ceiling and everyone in the place was cracking up. If you look up at the ceiling you will see that the grates are TAPED in place!!! Wtf??? Stay away from this place f you value your health. This place needs to be inspected. Im sure if they did I would be closed down right away.

I saw this place near the restroom stop and I happened to be craving some Chinese fast food like panda express style… And I looked up this place and the reviews were horrible! But they were entertaining and I was curious, I had to see for myself! So I went and it’s a bit dinghy inside but not unlike a lot of hole in the wall Chinese restaurants. The front buffet is definitely not appetizing looking. It looks like it has been sitting there for awhile. So I decided to try their vegetable rice noodle as they have a lot of dishes they can cook fresh that’s not in their buffet line. They offer $ 8.95 all you can eat buffet so maybe that’s why they make it less appetizing so you won’t eat them out of house. In any case, the food was cooked in about 10 minutes and it was pretty good. Flavorful, hot curry flavor with bell peppers broccoli huge slices of onion and celery. Tastes pretty good. With the chili oil hot pepper flake sauce on it, it tasted really good. $ 6.99 The people are grumpy and two people had a yelling fest in the kitchen but typical hole in the wall Chinese restaurant attitude. All in all it wasn’t as bad as I expected based on the other reviews. They have their own parking lot. Styrofoam? Yes everything. Vegetarian? 10% option. 2.5 out of 5 stars

I’m wondering too. How did I have a decent experience whereas everyone else here was horrified? Haha. I don’t know. Maybe I’ve eaten real Chinese food in Mainland China in the rural parts. Maybe my mom has forced me to eat all kinds of worst Chinese food that I have become to tolerate alot. One thing is for sure: This place better improve so much because once Panda Express rolls around into this area, this restaurant will surely perish. Onto my decent experience: –Yes, it looks ridiculously shady –Yes, the indoor decorations are horrible. Similar to SF Chinatown typical restaurant decorations. Droopy Christmas lights? Chinese New Year boy and girl? Chinese lanterns? This place looked like more of a very ghetto San Jose Phở noodle place more than a Chinese restaurant. Come on. Ditch it all and invest in some IKEA pieces. Really. At least it would look cleaner. At least do white lights tightly outlining each window. haha. –Yes, we chose this place because of the outdoor seating(we were traveling with a dog and obviously no dogs alone inside the car). Yes, it is dingy with bird poop on most of the tables and seats. Luckily, I was able to pick one decently OK, finger test proved to be negative of any layer of dust. –Yes, you shouldn’t look at the buffet food that is at the front. Due to our time constraints, our high dislike for American greasiness and willingness to tolerate Chinese greasiness and because we had a dog, we were somewhat forced to choose this place. The buffet plate: beef and broccoli was OK. Chow Mein was a scary orange color(I have never in my life seen orange mein noodles). These noodles did not taste good. White rice was just not good. The made-to-order plate: Seafood, shrimp and vegetables. Oh man. This was delicious. I am so not kidding you. REALLY. It was good. Oh believe me, I was looking for something to show me otherwise. It was actually good. Fresh shrimp, fresh green cabbage, good seafood sauce. It was such a stark contrast from the buffet food plate. it was like it was made by 2 different cooks. So weird. Yes, it is not the best Chinese food that I have had, but I think its at the level of Panda Express or slightly better. This dish reminded me of SF Chinatown… My husband and I agreed that we’ll probably come back here again. We just hope it was as good as this time. We came here on Friday, May 21st on our way to LA during lunchtime(12pm or so). And by the way, yes, the food digested well. No diarrhea here and we definitely have sensitive stomachs.
