La Quinta Inn & Suites Clovis

The hotel is one of the newer hotels in town. It is clean and the staff are nice. I’ve always had a quiet room when staying here and the Internet is very stable. Breakfast is nothing special your standard hotel breakfast if they would improve this it would be a nice touch.

We have had the best experience ever at this hotel. Everything was so wonderful the large rooms, the friendly staff, indoor pool and hot-​tub were so well maintained. For a La Quinta the breakfast was amazing with a huge array of breads (English muffins, Bagels, muffins, Pastries) hot waffles scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon biscuits and gravy as well as fresh fruit cereal and muffins. We past through the lobby in the afternoon to find chips and salsa, cookies and milk and punch available to guest. This is only a two star chain but this hotel rate better than some 4 star hotels I have visited. Milk bones at the desk for our little companion was an unexpected perk, and the public areas were comfortable for a visit with family.

We’ve come to expect comfortable and spacious accommodations from our La Quintas, and this one was no exception. To my knowledge all La Quintas are pet friendly– major plus, as we always travel with our pets :-) Staff was gracious, definitely recommend.

Very thin walls and floors… just so loud it’s unbelievable what you hear. I’m writing this as I’m sitting at the desk in our room listening to our neighbors conversation, nearly word for word. The people upstairs walking around, every move they’re making including using the restroom. Yes I can hear THAT! We’re in hotels on business every week and this one is so noisy it’s driving me insane! We still have 2 more nights of this racket. If you want to relax stay some where else

This is so far the best La Quinta we have ever stayed at. The bright side breakfast was good. They serve 3 different kinds of eggs; omelette, scrambled and hard boiled. There’s biscuit n gravy, sausage or bacon. pastry fruits etc.
The rooms were huge, clean and nicely-​decorated. Staff were friendly. I hope they stay that way :)

Bar none, this was the best hotel we stayed in on our recent cross country trip. Friendly staff, huge room, good breakfast, great pool. It was unexpectedly nice to find a place like this La Quinta in Clovis!

Treats for both the humans and the pets when we checked in! Large, clean room. Good lawn spaces for the dog and quiet streets to walk. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good dinner at Leal’s Mexican Restaurant. Pleasant stay.

This place was awesome. The rooms are huge, clean and pet friendly. The staff was great too.

This place is in the middle of re-​hab, some things in the room are nice, then you notice wholes in the walls haven’t been patched or whatever little detail that hasn’t been cleaned up. It’s totally putting lipstick on a pig. I had two big complaints here… there is really no designated place for animal poop action and no bags for pickup. Everyone used the vacant lot next door and didn’t pick up. This was bad because it was burr central and I ended up with burrs on the carpet.
Second big complaint was the bed… this had to be one of the worst hotel beds I’ve ever slept in and the worst set of used up pillows ever. I didn’t sleep well for a whole week.
I loved the staff, you can tell they care… but it must be a $$ issue why they can’t get this place in order… or the trash who stay here and think its ok to punch holes in the doors and walls. There was some noise transfer from upstairs and nearby… but not as bad as other places I’ve stayed. I’ve been in La Quinta’s all over and this one ranks near the bottom for structure and comfort but near the top for service.
