I would give this establishment 10 stars if I could! We stumbled in during an insane snow storm that we never would have expected. Cameron was at the front and assisted us. He was so kind and got us(6 of us) a room with a cot very quickly. Guess what? We were stuck for nearly 2 days in this hotel with Cameron being the ONLY employee for LITERALLY2 days straight. 36 hours. Awake. The entire time. Never took the smile off of his face. Consistently wanted us to be comfortable the entire time. We have never been this impressed with anyone when it comes to customer service. Everyone was so impressed with him. With an entire hotel going a little stir crazy, he was our light. We will be writing multiple letters to corporate. He deserves a crazy raise for what he put up with. We could not be more appreciative.

My wife and I got stuck in Clovis with a bad transmission. While we waited for it to get fixed we had the unexpected pleasure to stay her at the Fairfield Inn. This is a very clean and well kept property with some of the nicest people who work here. Thank you to everyone we met over the last four days here.

Best place to stay in Clovis. Everything is brand new. Sheets, towels, curtains and furnishings. Has sparkling clean pool for the kids too! Staff has great upbeat attitude. Wifi was not only working but good strong signal. When I stayed there Abby was at front desk and was a great«face» for the hotel: super positive can-do attitude that made the long day on the road seem to melt away. Happy we stayed there!

This Fairfield is the best ever. Everything is done well. Marriott has a real hit.

I stay here nearly always when I am in Clovis for work. It is conveniently located near restaurants and other stores. The rooms are usually very clean, the beds are comfortable and I haven’t had much trouble from noise in hallways/other rooms when I have been trying to sleep. The free WiFi is quick enough to stream video/make FaceTime calls. The breakfast is also decent — juices, coffee, waddles, microwavable biscuits, fruit, cereal, breads/muffins/bagels and oatmeal. Sometimes this place gets booked up — due to events at Canon AFB I imagine — and so I will stay at the Holiday Inn Express just across the street if this happens.

This Fairfield Inn & Suites is fine; it’s actually a pleasant surprise for Clovis(no offense, Clovis, but seriously). In my travels I finally noticed the pattern that many Fairfield Inns are dumpy leftovers of smaller brand motels bought by Marriott and barely renovated; however, this Fairfield seems to be new, original construction for Marriott, so it’s clean, bright, and comfortable. The wifi is a respectable 3 Mbps download for getting attachments or watching videos, but the sorry 0.3 Mbps upload hinders videocalls back home. The beds are a bit on the firm side, but cozy enough. I’ve been here for a week and it’s pretty quiet, except when(1) families let their kids run pell-mell down the hall, and(2) your neighbors come and go, because the pneumatics/springs on the door create quite a slam. Maybe maintenance could adjust that to be a little quieter. The breakfast offering is a pretty decent continental bar heavy on the carbs, not protein: waffle maker, cereals, mini-muffins, bagels, English muffins, plus some bananas & apples, yogurts, fruit cups, and Jimmy Dean bacon & egg biscuits to microwave(no sausage biscuits? what gives??). I am, however, wildly disappointed in their desire to break down breakfast as early as possible. I just worked a 16 hour day yesterday and wanted to sleep in as much as possible before driving to Lubbock to fly home, so I thought I’d be safe coming down to eat at 9:30 — wrong, housekeeping is already yanking all the breads and fruits and cereals. WTF. The sign says breakfast is 7:00 — 10:00 on weekends, not 9:30. Thanks a lot.

Such a pleasant surprise! Nice staff, spotlessly clean rooms, great continental breakfast. Rooms are more than clean, they have the ultimate bed. AND all for $ 79.00/ night. This is a real travel bargain.
