Gluten free please is not closed. It was sold to Pd Q another gluten free company. They are wonderful. The staff is great.

a small store in a strip mall. no place to sit, so we got everything to go. we tried 5 or so different cupcakes and a donut. most everything was light and not overly sweet. flavors like rootbeer, mexican chocolate, vanilla, carrot cake. the maple donut was especially good. only complaint is that one of the cupcakes(or maybe it was a scone) was very dry and low on taste. often, gluten-free means weird taste or bad consistency, but not here.

Like an oasis in the middle of a parched, scorched desert, Gluten Free Please is a much needed gluten free habitat in the Fresno landscape. Nestled into an unassuming corner strip mall, the location is clean, bright, and inviting. After researching them on their website, I already knew some of the things I wanted to try, including the inventive«meatloaf cupcake with mashed potato frosting,» as well as the sultry«Twice baked potato muffin.» I ended up caving to the wonder of the selection and bought an assortment of all of the items. My favorite was actually the cinnamon roll, which I took immediately, dripping with ooey gooey frosting, and shoved directly into my face. Magnificent. The interesting flavors that I brought back home with me included: coconut pineapple«hummingbird», red velvet, birthday cake, root beer float, and carrot cake. I was pleased with their selections, including being a home base for a plethora of other gluten free goodies, including Bob’s Red Mill, gluten free mixes, soups, sauces, and breads. The mom of the owner gave me a snicker doodle still hot from the oven to try, and it was AWESOME. They were so friendly and inviting, and even were a co-located source for P-de-Q items, which sadly, I thought I was going to go to the location and try, but didn’t end up doing so :(. The owner and her mom were also very obliging with directing me to the local stores and restaurants which have gluten free selections, and which are the most likely to not actually make me sick. It’s one thing to have gluten free options, and it’s entirely another to have gluten free options that are actually gluten free. Crazy. My only negative is that I was told they would be good sitting on the counter for a few days, but by the time I drove back to Sonoma County(one day), many of the items were very stale, and didn’t end up being very appealing. I think the rule of thumb is buy them, eat them immediately. Rinse, lather, repeat.

The dinner rolls are delicious. I am nursing a baby who is allergic to dairy wheat soy and egg. The dinner rolls are free of these. Thank god for this place.
