This was a great experience. We stayed there two nights during Christmas vacation. The hotel was very neat and clean — from the breakfast area to the front desk to the rooms. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Everybody that worked there was extremely pleasant. After a day of family and friends, it was refreshing to come back to the hotel and enjoy the pool and hot tub. After two nights here, I even decided to check out a Comfort Inn on our way back to Arizona!

What a warm and welcoming place! I came into town already with a reservation. I checked in and it was easy peasy lemon squeezy! The lady at the desk could not have been more helpful or pleasant. She was quick and efficient. The rooms are decently sized. There is plenty of extra space. Although I don’t have kids, if I did, they would have ample floor space to play. The tv gets good channels, there are lights all throughout– the closet included. It’s great to have the convenience of a fridge and microwave too all en suite. You don’t have to walk far to eat a delicious breakfast either. They have eggs, waffles, oatmeal, fruits, yogurts, cereals, juices to name a few. I honestly was surprised that a place like this can provide a varied breakfast like this! Many reviews have complained about the Internet, but I have yet to have an issue. It is wireless all throughout. I never needed a cord, as other reviewers have mentioned. I don’t recommend stopping in Clovis on a road trip, but if you do happen to stumble into town, for the value and amenities you get, I recommend staying here! I really have no complaints.

The internet is wired. You won’t be offered the wire to connect, so you request one. They give you a wire with broken tips. They only have broken ones. But it doesn’t matter. The internet doesn’t work anyway. The ice machine doesn’t work. There is no ice in the entire motel. The TV works, but not well. The worst part is the attitude. If you ask the front desk about the internet, the ice, the TV, the pool, or whatever else, you get a snotty response that sounds like your teenager’s answer of «Whatever.» Only the words are more like, «So.. . what do you want me to do about it?» The place is worn, but clean. The breakfast served daily is OK. However, don’t actually talk to the people who put out the food, unless you are a glutton for punishment. People who work here are not nice.
