I had s terrible experience today at Verizon. One employee in particular, Ralph, was incredibly unprofessional and crossed the line between friendly chit chat and uncomfortable flirting on multiple occasions. I would not go back there specifically because of this man. These employees need more training in customer service.

Thought I’d submit my review, since most often, people only take the time to complain. Last Friday my husband and I entered the Verizon store around 5:00pm, to find that we were 8th in line! Ugh! We were pleasantly surprised that the wait was only about 20 minutes. Chuck helped us with our upgrade, as it was quite complicated, involving 2 phones and 3 separate lines. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and I have to say that this was the FASTEST and most EFFICIENT upgrade and switch to new phones that we’ve EVER had! Chuck was very pleasant and got us up and running in NO time! We were VERY happy with our visit, and will absolutely return to this Verizon store!

I wanted to write a review, because the last few times I’ve been to this Verizon branch, I have had no issues at all. There was someone at the door to help check me in — if needed. I told him I was just looking at the individual phone models to decide on a phone. I had been experiencing issues at a different branch, and because this was a corporate store they had more of a phone selection to try out. I left when I knew what phone I wanted in order to follow up at a different branch closer to my home. Someone asked me if I was being helped, and I told them that I was just looking. Everyone was courteous. When I finally got the Sony Xperia Z3v from the branch near me, I noticed something was wrong with my front-facing cameras(yes, I enjoy taking a selfie or two). I wanted to make sure I wasn’t completely crazy, because my Galaxy S4 was taking better selfies, so I went back to this Verizon(the Verizon in Phillipsburg does not this model for test use). I used the phone they had for display and noticed a difference. I felt super embarrassed about it, because, overall it is just a front-facing camera. I asked to be put on the list for services. Shortly, my name was called and I spoke with Hope, who quickly reassured me not to feel ashamed for addressing my concerns. She took a picture of herself and noticed a difference as well, meanwhile telling me selfies are important too. She tried to order me a new phone there, but because I ordered it from a separate Verizon retailer(the branch I mentioned before) I couldn’t order it there. I was reluctant and told her I had been having problems at the other branch. She told me that it shouldn’t be an issue for them, and that if they give me any problems to tell them that the phone I currently have is not up to corporate standards. She was extremely helpful and addressed my concerns in full. I do not ever plan on going back to the Phillipsburg branch, and will come to the corporate store in Clinton instead. I thought all the displays looked great, and everyone I encountered was pleasant and helpful.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, sales people don’t know about their own promotions(and they don’t honor them), and tech people know only the basics about the phones. I know a lot of other reviews cover the same complaints, but honestly, they are that awful and the extra effort to emphasize this is necessary.

Wow. I was planning to go to this Verizon store After reading the reviews, changed my mind. I’ll look for another one. This store sounds like a nightmare. Thanks to the other posters

Agree with all other posters. Worst Verizon ever! This store is the reason we switched to AT&T and unfortunately had to come back.

If you want poor service, commission hungry sales reps looking over your shoulder for who might walk in and want a new phone, then shop here. Otherwise, stay far away from this Verizon location. The others I was shopping with purchased a new phone, and in his haste the store salesperson, Louis, LOSTPARTOFTHEPHONE – we didn’t realize until we got home and he then said he had the part there at the store, which he then LOSTAGAIN when we went to pick it up. Verizon managers endorse this behavior as they have not offered to replace the phone. signed, Taped up new phone in Hunterdon. PS Just to see what it takes to work at Verizon I went into their website and took their hour and a half long test to see how they weed out«bad» sales associates – somehow their tests only lets in worst of the bunch. what a shoddy HR.

Long wait times and they try to add things to your phone plan without explaining that there are hidden charges. When switching from AT&T to Verizon they gave me a «free» hotspot which they said was free with $ 50 mail in rebate. My first bill comes in and there is a monthly charge which I didn’t know about for the hotspot. There is a big cancellation fee, but it costs more to cancel than to keep the hotspot which I don’t even need considering iPhone has it’s own hotspot. Can’t recommend this place at all.

Seriously. I don’t like coming on here. Would be nice if they had a competent technical team. Maybe more so the individual I was working with… regardless, not happy. Approaching an hour for something that should have resolved much quicker.
