Whirlyball

I have been here twice, both for work functions and we had a blast each time!
I don’t know the actual prices but this last time (just a few weeks ago) someone organized it we paid $ 20 per person and we had the court from 7pm-​10pm. We ended up with around 24 – 25 people and it was perfect. We had just enough people to swap in and out between games and no one felt like they didn’t get to play enough.
This is fun for people of all ages! You can bring in your own snacks and a few adult bevs!

I never heard of whirlyball until my boyfriend asked if I wanted to go play with some of his friends. He, of course, described it as a bloodsport with bumper cars. So we went and it’s super fun! You need ten people, 5 per team. Then you cruise around this mini arena (for lack of a better word) in your bumper car with your scoop and fight for a waffle ball and try to score points by putting the ball into the goal. The goal is kind of like a soccer goal with the netting but placed more like a basketball goal. Don’t be afraid! It’s really fun, though I do have a few battle bruises from the driving crank. The building is really nondescript and honestly it’s nothing special inside either. But it’s a good hour of honest fun for $ 16 bucks per person. A fairly cheap way to start a Saturday afternoon. Highly recommended!
