I’ve never eaten a pasty anywhere else so this is, to me, as good as it gets. lol. The owner is really friendly and, more importantly, their food is amazing. My father is addicted to this place so I pick up some for him once every couple of weeks. I’ve read that they don’t accept credit cards but I don’t think this is the case anymore. I don’t remember. I’ll find out!

Just ate my first one from here. We wanted to take 6 hot beefs home for lunch but 4 hots is their max at one time. So we bought 6 frozen and took them home. You can oven bake them for 40 minutes or do what we did and nuke them for 5 minutes. We forgot to order gravy so we made some at home. I thought the taste was good and authentic. I will be buying more frozen pasties to take to work for lunches.

I saw the good reviews and decided to give them a try. I tried some beef, a chicken and some mini breakfast ones. I understand that pasties aren’t the most flavorful things, but they should have some seasoning. The beef and chicken from Marquee Marques have almost none — unless you pour gravy over every bite(and I did and it still only helped a little), they were like eating oatmeal. It’s hard to believe that they wouldn’t add anything, even sufficient salt and pepper, but it appears they didn’t. The only ones that had any discernable flavor were the mini breakfast ones, and I’m not sure exactly what was in them. Maybe some kind of sausage and bits of bacon? In any case, they were just OK. These pasties were not cheap, and I’m pretty disappointed that they weren’t very good. I guess I’ll have to keep looking for good local pasties.

It pains me to write a two-star review but I was disappointed with my meal from here. My vegetarian pastie did not have the savory flavor and crust I would expect. Rutabaga was there but I could hardly taste it. The coleslaw was far too saucy and wet. Perhaps the meat pasties are better but, as a vegetarian, I won’t find out. Sigh. FYI, bring cash or a checkbook if you go; they don’t take credit or debit cards.

This should be your go-to for fast, hearty, quality, HOMEMADE comfort food. Marquee Marque’s is a tiny, counter service quick-stop that serves the best Pasties south of Mighty Mac! Very limited menu, but very good quality! It’s pretty simple. They sell Pasties. You can buy fresh beef ones daily and eat them while they are still hot! They have hot chicken ones on certain days. You can also buy all varieties frozen, including Keilbasa, and Vegetarian and they have a microwave if you are on the go, or microwave them or oven-heat them at home. They are delicious fresh, or heated. Perfect for buy-ahead meals at home. Less than $ 5 each! I dare you to finish one by yourself! The ingredients, menu, and instructions for reheating are on their website. I highly recommend coming here instead of the countless, gross chain fast food places in the area. They have a microwave and a few spots to eat inside as well. Much better food, better value and you will support a local company. Yay for Marquee Marque! CASH only here, folks… so be prepared!

After a recent trip up north, a Pastie(Pass-tee) sure hit the spot. This place makes great ones, the kids loved them as well. They only have so many varieties that are served warm but they sell them frozen and done in the microwave they come out excellent, just like fresh. Great little pastie place south of the bridge, will definitely be back. Very well priced for a meal too.

Worst experience ever! Went in and asked questions about the Pasties explained it was my first time there and I got nothing but rude and sarcastic answers. Once she swore at me and I returned the favor I left. All I got was sour taste in my mouth. Called the owner to complain and he started off by asking me what dumb questions did I have??? I can’t see how they can stay in business long. Save yourself the time and aggravation.

On the way home from Da Francescos I had to stop and get some authentic Yooper Pasties. Made the right way with rutabega. If it doesn’t have rutabega in it it’s not a pastie. Good pasties very very filling made fresh. You can order either fresh baked or frozen to take home for later. If you order 6 frozen you get the 7th free, sweeet.
