Kmart

This store has items decently priced, but you will never, ever get anyone to help. I have stopped in here two dozen times after visiting the Kroger next door or the Aco that has gone out of business. Every time I want to scream at the top of my lungs.
No matter what day or time, bring a ton of patience and nobody with you. They are severly understaffed and most of the regular employess are not good. They hold conversations with each other in front of customers and check their phones.
I have been 4 people back in line and watched this happen multiple times. They also never have more then 2 lanes open, despite the 20 people waiting with 10 coupons each. Their reward program if that’s what you call it is a joke. They asked me to sign up a few times and when I ask what it gives me or why I should join, they say they don’t know or to go to the service counter to inquire. You just asked me! Ugh, so frustrating.
If the Kmart CEO wants to know why they are failing, take a good hard look at how you train (or dont) employees on professionalism and manners. You know the employees hate their jobs buy the look on their face. Would it kill you to pretend you are happy? We didn’t pick your job for you, so management needs to be more aware and train them.
The one good thing is the store always seems clean, perhaps its because nobody can get through the line to pay so they just leave the stuff in the store like I have. I’ve given up trying to go there.

With one more Christmas tree to decorate, I needed a string of lights. Available was the GE name and another off-​brand — I selected the GE lights for my purchase. A nice discount brought the price down by nearly 50%.
I haven’t stopped in a K-​Mart in years. When I walked in this store, I was pleasantly surprised. The shelves were well stocked, everything was organized and the store associates were doing their level best to keep it that way. When it was time to check out, all of the registers were open.
While standing in line, I noticed off to the side there was a customer service desk that took payments for utility bills, as well as sold money orders and serviced Western Union money transfers.
Judging by the parking lot, this store must be fairly old. Still, once inside, everything was up to snuff. With Cartridge World just a few stores up in the same strip mall, I’ll return to this K-​Mart.

I was out shopping with my mom and she decided to stop in here. I didn’t even know this place was open still. I thought it shut down years ago. I really don’t see any use in going here. The only reason I could think of is the Joe Boxer brand which has a pretty good reputation. We were going to return a bathing suit but the line took way too long. There was one person ahead of us and after about 10 minutes of waiting, nothing had been done. We got sick of waiting and decided to leave instead of wasting our time. Everyone seemed friendly, but there are just too many better options in the area than Kmart.

If i didn’t collect Hot Wheels… I would not come here!
