Brought my sister and mother here for a facial and to get our nails done because I live in very close. Was extremely disappointed. Nails were poorly done and«mediocre» at best. As for the facial– I was extremely disappointed for the price. I’ve gotten MUCH better else where. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I booked my appointment a week in advance. I got there 20 minutes late thanks to narrow one lane roads. when I get there they are like some one is coming directly and that you should have called. I told them how do you expect me to stop on a 1 lane road and call you. the owner rudely says you could have pulled over. for someone who goes there everyday doesnt even realise there is no pull over space. they were so rude about it. for a place who is suppose to offer relaxation if people there are so rude and inconsiderate what kind of relaxation can they offer.

Virginia’s pedicures are the best. very tailored to your needs and very relaxing! The facial is also very special and the manicures are good, too. I’ve been coming back for 2 – 3 years!

The owner personally waited on me and made the experience relaxing and restoring. I liked it so much that I bought the same foot treatment for a friend. I definitely will be back.

I got the Living Social deal for a 65 minute pedicure. I bought two, one for me and one for my mom, and I didn’t know until I called but they only have one pedicure chair so we couldn’t have our nails done at the same time. So I had to book two massages as well so that my mom(or myself) wouldn’t be sitting bored for an hour. The pedicure was done by two people, one girl massages your legs and another lady does the nails. The massage part was fine, nothing special just longer than what you get at the typical(i.e, MUCHCHEAPER) salon. The nail part was terrible though. She did not cut off my cuticles and barely pushed them all the way down. There is still a ton of dead skin around my nail beds and heels. And she painted ALLOVER my toes and then wiped off the excess with polish remover… but didn’t get it all :(I will have to go to the«chop shop», as she put it, and get my nails done again next week. I also didn’t see an autoclave to sterilize, just barbicide. The massage was just okay and not worth the money. When I told the owner(?) that the massage was only alright, she told me it was probably a my fault for not communicating well enough. And she kept trying to up sell and my mother and they didn’t tell you until you want to pay that they charge you 10% of the tip amount if you use a credit card. It’s 2016, EVERYWHERE takes credit cards. This is lame. They also provide a tip sheet telling you what percentage they think you should pay according to service level to guilt you into paying more. Very tacky. Plus it’s in the middle of nowhere. I feel like it’s a place that old people might like. Also… sorry, I keep forgetting things… part of the 65 minutes is the lady giving you a tour of the salon and attached dance studio(which she is also trying to sell you on) and I didn’t care about that and certainly didn’t want to pay for it. Take a look at all the owner’s responses to critical reviews on this page. Very defensive. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Ms. Virginia was so wonderful. She made us feel right at home. Even though we were passing through her town without an appointment she saw to us anyway. She called my fiancé and I the next day to check on us. That was very nice of her.

I received a Phantom of the Opera gift certificate for Christmas. This included the massage with Mani/Pedi. I went today and it was fabulous. Three hours of being totally pamphered. You need to give yourself plenty of time in order to really enjoy the experience. Patty gave me the massage and it was one of the best I have had. Virginia gave me the Mani/Pedi and it looks great. The leg massage was awesome. They get booked quickly so plan your visit.

Virginia’s pedicures are the best. She takes special care with the nails so that the polish looks smooth and even. I have been going to Heather for a number of years and am always happy with my cuts. And the salon and spa has such a relaxing ambience

Be sure to visit VA Spa and Salon if you want to be treated like a celebrity. The place is decorated in such a way that you can’t help feeling special. I’ve tried their facial, haircut and massage. I loved their facial, totally took all the stress away and I came out feeling golden. Thank you! :)

I had a Living Social deal for a pedicure — I’m glad I had it because the price of a pedicure is way too expensive for what you get. I thought it was going to be a relaxing pedicure but I guess I wasn’t important enough to have mine done in the spa area, mine was done in the salon which was very far from«relaxing». Funny thing, the bottles of polish right next to where I was sitting isn’t the polish you get to choose from(unless you want to pay additional $$$), which is ridiculous. I’ve had numerous pedicures in NoVa and have never had to pay additional $$$ for a polish color. If I could go there again with a Living Social deal, I won’t — it really isn’t worth it.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this establishment. My husband initially bought me a living social deal for a pedicure, which went way beyond your average pedicure. The experience begins with some tea in the cute little sitting area. You are then taken to a private spa area(depending on your package) and are treated to a very pampering massage and foot soak. Virginia even takes the time to test out several colors on you if you can’t choose a polish and is really great about making recommendations. After this experience, my husband bought me a spa package with prenatal massage when I was in my third trimester. My baby came a few weeks early(to my surprise) just days before my spa appointment and the staff were very helpful in getting me re-booked for a post baby massage once I was able to get away for a few hours of much needed R and R. This place is so much better than your average strip mall chain spa/salon. And it gave me an excuse to check out the cute little town of Clifton!

Got the best pedicure ever from Virginia! She even upgraded my pedicure to the Elizabeth Taylor Pedicure at no extra cost. Staff is super friendly and very accommodating. They really went above and beyond for me on my last 3 visits!

First time I went there is when I bought the service thru living social. I am hooked up since then. Main reason of going back there again and also taking my mom for pedicure is not the private room(which is a huge incentive for us) but the owner Virginia. She treated my mom and I with grace and such care that when I left the place, I felt like I am leaving a friend behind. I knew my friends had to try this. So far I had sent two of my friends there. One of them also took her mom :). I was reading other reviews and people were talking negatively about tips. I did not experience anything like that over there. Great place. Will visit again as soon as I get a chance :)

Stay away from this place! Me and my sister bought living social deal to get 65 min pedicure. Expected a nice treatment giving that this place had a SPA in its name. So here is what went wrong: 1. Virginia is a lovely person but she clearly doesn’t know that making a quick buck WILLNOT provide her any new clients or keep her existing clients coming back. My sister and I were mislead and paid additional 50 $! For what was called massage! Yes we wanted that 32 $ basic(very pricey for This location) manicure but we were not informed neither about extra charges for neck massage nor that it was separate service(I was wondering actually if person knew what she was doing) .Instead Virginia very quietly said she could accommodate massage during manicure. Is this some sort of trick to up sale the service??? 2. Quality of Manicure was so crappy. nail polish went over the nails. Some of the nail polish started to chip out the first evening. 3. Spa pedicure??? Virginia needs to visit any non spa places to understand that the one she provided is far below the quality of spa pedicures. 4. Please don’t tell your clients that it is so tough to keep the business afloat. We came to relax and paid money for this service. I don’t want to hear your complains. 5. The most outrageous thing happened at the end of our” lovely«treatment. When I said I was mislead about the massage and additional charges and I will only pay 10 $ for the tip, Virginia smiled and gave me the list with tip percentages. She said that list would help me to decide which % I should be leaving. … 6. Don’t forget about fee(apart from the tip!!, yes) that Virginia will add to your total because you decide to pay with credit card! Not only I will not be coming back I will also make sure none of my friends will get there. I just want to say this to Virginia: please understand that nowadays, in this very competitive world, you have to see a bigger picture and understand how to treat people so they would be coming back.

STAYFARFARFARFARFARFARAWAYFROMTHISBUSINESS… My husband & I made an apt for a couples massage today and had the apt. Through Jeannie and Patty… Not only did we PAY for a 90 minute massage and we ONLY got a 70 min massage BUT the massages were soooooo painful… I had Patty… and she was SOOOOPAINFUL… I have had 6 back surgeries… and I kept telling her to be“easy” & instead of being«easy» she would«LAUGH»…and continue being rough… JeannIe was doing my husbands massage and said that she was OKAY… he said she ALMOST brought him to tears a COUPLE times… Patty had me flying off that table SEVERAL times… But that’s not the REALISSUE… The REAL issue is THIS… The OWNER… she’s. A NIGHTMARE… Virginia is the WORST person I have EVER dealt with… instead of dealing with the issues of 1) NOT guaranteeing you get your FULL90 min massage time, 2) the massage was comfortable and 3) being a PROFESSIONAL, NICE, RESPECTFUL person, she’s ALL about making a «quick buck»…that’s ALL she’s worried about… She called me bc I didn’t tip the«RIGHTAMOUNT»…instead of calling me to ask«WHY»…she called to «TELLMETOTIPMEORIMNOTALLOWEDBACKTOHERSPA»… Do you REALLY think I’m going to TIP someone who CUTS her massage short, brings us to years while massaging us and who doesn’t even have to professionalism to tell us GOODBYE when we’re done??? I don’t think so…& and she wants to pull the«WERE A CHRISTIANBUSINESS&WEREALLCHRISTIANWOMEN here…» What a JOKE… get REAL… I’m going to KEEPEVERYONEAWAY from this AWFULPLACE…

I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding party and we went there the morning of the wedding for hair and make-up. They were all very nice and the space is very nice and warm. The hair was fine but DONOT pay to get your make-up done there. It is the worst make-up and then a waste of time because you have to go home, take it off, and redo your make-up yourself. The woman there(the owner) is NOT a certified make-up artist. She does only dark, dark smoky eyes(not well) or she puts on almost nothing. She uses terrible, very cheap make-up and doesn’t use primer for eyes or basically anything to keep your make-up on through the day. They were putting on eye make-up BEFORE foundation and it just looked awful, all of it. Thankfully the bride was able to get her make-up redone and the rest of us just did our make-up ourselves but what a waste of time and money. They shouldn’t even advertise that they do make-up.

Went there 6 months ago on a groupon type deal for a haircut. I was not expecting to be blown away as I have been looking for a new stylist for 4 years at that point. Got set up with Sofia and for the first time EVER got a great consultation(she listened and asked questions) and haircut. So I booked a second appt with her last week and once again it was fantastic. She listened to me and communicated clearly on what was a reasonable expectation for my requests. The color and cut came out beautiful. The appt started right on the dot and Sofia is super nice so the conversation flowed easily and there wasn’t any awkwardness which I have experienced in the past with other stylists. The check in and check out process was smooth and I will definitely be coming back. I should also add the salon is very quiet and appeared very clean. You can hear each other talk, you can hear yourself think and overall one of the best experiences I have had in a long time.

I picked up this Living Social deal for a 65 min Elizabeth Taylor Pedicure. I must say, this has been by far one of the best and most pampered one i have had :) This is such a cute place, beautifully done up. I enter a small lounge with a TV playing«The Roman Holiday» for me :) And here comes lovable Virginia, making me some warm mint tea, takes me on a small tour around the salon and the spa area :) The«smell, touch and sound» were perfect, with the magical pedicure chair, the scrub and her massage! Virginia also advised me on the amount of callus work that my heels needed. I must say that this was quality work. I enjoyed every bit of her massage, but what impressed me more was the end result. I left happy :) I am so coming back to this place for my next pedi :) Thank you Virginia for adding your personal touch to the whole experience! It is pricey, but trust me, its worth every penny! Oh, I cant forget to mention about the«Virginia’s special blend» oil that I picked up. It is subtly aromatic, soft and soothes my skin! Please pick one up the next time you go, totally worth it!
