Not a bad place. Not a great part of town but its just a pool hall. Snacks were good. After two pitchers of water down beer stopped ordering beer. One guy was running the small bar and kitchen. But he was friendly and helpful. Tables were not in bad shape. Place was clean. They have a jukebox but keep it low. Would go again.

Possibly the best pool joint around. As soon as you go upstairs there’s lots of clean tables nice lighting on the tables. On top of having great pool tables it’s a sports bar/​party area. They have lots of rooms in the back to throw parties. The food was pretty good I had fries and a personal pizza. Highly recommend this place, if you’re looking to enjoy a pool game.

The renovations make it seem 10x better than the original. The staff is very down to earth and friendly. The food selection is diverse and has high quality taste. The drinks and pool table prices are very reasonable. Great spot for a fun night out with friends or a date!

Great idea for a much needed night out !! Went there late on a Sunday and it had a good low key atmosphere (my kind of place). Good bar and beer selections, knowledgeable and kind bartender. Even if I don’t know my stuff, I know who to trust with craft beer selections and he is on that list !! Have not tried the food yet, but looks great and I look forward to going back !!
Some pool lessons were going on at the time, that was also nice to see; adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Nice size space as well !!

Came here on valentines day I haven’t been there in decades! Awesome renovation! The bar is good, they fixed my cue tip! $ 35 can’t beat that it was only 10 minutes! Awesome tables very professional and balls go down smooth! For $ 6 an hour you can’t beat that! Definitely must come here! Manager is very nice and friendly! They have jukebox of good music as well!

Came in on Sunday night to hang out with a friend. The place is very dimly lit, only the tables being used have the lights on, everything else is dark. The guy working was quick with the jokes and very friendly. He gave us the balls and lit up our table.
After a few games, we decided to have a few beers. I was surprised at the tap selection. Besides the normal macro brews, they had a decent number of craft taps. The guy working could tell I knew my beer and we had a good discussion about what kind of stuff is good to drink in the colder weather. Ended up picking up a pitcher of Carton of Milk Stout from the Carton Brewery.
The pool tables and cues are well kept. I would gladly return here for drinks and games, maybe even try the food next time.

This place is fun. Lots of tables, large selection of beers, good bar food menu and a lively atmosphere. this is the closest thing to an old time pool hall thats left. You can’t have a bad time here

First time at Clifton Billards located on the 2nd floor which was a first for me. It definitely has that pool hall feel, very rustic, diverse and a tad worn but nice spot. The wings were over cooked but the fries were good. Good prices, acceptable tables, good music & mixed drinks not horrible. Feel like they needed more staff to help the guy who was doubling as cashier & bartender.

I went to play pool on the Sunday night before Labor Day. It was not that crowded but even if it was, they have a large amount of pool tables (at least 15 because that was my pool table number haha). I really love how friendly the staff was (I think he might have been the owner). Honestly I really appreciate small businesses and this pool hall definitely has that feel. I got the impression that the owner of this business truly loves pool and that’s why he owns a pool hall not just to make money. I don’t know if this makes a difference to anyone but it sure does for me. Anyways, yeah it’s a nice place to go with a couple of friends for a nice game of pool. They also have a bar which serves anything from cappuccinos to hard liquor. I also noticed that they had a wall memorabilia of a famous pool player that goes and plays there every Wednesday which I thought was pretty cool.
Tip: If you check in with Unilocal,you get a free cup of coffee!

Place fully remodeled, nicer tables and great great food! Beers are cheap and very cold. Reason why I gave this a 4 star is because they need a better jukebox. Music makes a big difference!

Wrote a 5 star review recently which wound up «filtered». Why? I have no financial relationship with Clifton Billiards; I simply play pool as a hobby and know the competition. Maybe I was too profusive for Unilocal’ over zealous editors? Simply put though, when Vinnie Jr is cooking, the food is 4+ stars; the table are kept well, and the management aims to please.
