Wendy’s

basically just another Wendy’s. As another review mentioned I did notice what appeared to be friction between employees. Not sure what it was about. One time the place was very busy and one employee was in the dining room on break and another employee asked them to come help and the reply was «I have 2 more minutes on my break» I thought that was sort of tacky and perhaps a sign that they need a better manager who can perhaps inspire employees better. I know they don’t make much money, so I guess you get what you pay for.

I went and the service was extremely slow and the employees seemed mad at each other. I love Wendy’s, but my experience here wasn’t great.

Despite being a fast food joint, I actually like this particular Wendys. I live equidistantly between this one and the one near Toys R Us, Hannaford, etc off Rt 146, and I much prefer this one. It comes down to the difference in management. The employees at both locations are friendly enough, but the reason why I like the one on Rt 9 is because it’s run much more efficiently. Their shift manager, Nina, knows how to uphold standards without being strict or mean. She gets her employees to be service oriented and to be upbeat about their work. Consequently, turnaround times at this particular Wendys are low, and of course quick service is always the goal of any fast food place. Moreover, the quality of the food is always consistent. It may not be a Ruth’s Chris kind of quality, but it’s still better than what one finds at McD’s or Burger King. Thanks to how this Wendys is managed I actually enjoy coming to a fast food establishment.

I don’t eat fast food often but when I do I prefer Wendy’s. What do I love about Wendy’s…everything. I normally get their spicy chicken value meal. It is actually REAL chicken and not fake chicken like BK or McDonald’s serve. What really sets Wendy’s a part from their competition is their fries, they are so much better than those chincy fries the other fast food places serve. I love the fact that they serve «square», real not frozen hamburgers. Sure they are not the best burger you will ever eat, and if it is I feel sorry for you, but it is good as far as fast food goes. Stay frosty my friends…
