Savemore has the best craft beer selection in the area and the prices are standard. The service has always been friendly and helpful.
This is my go-​to beer place when I’m in Clifton Park, and I could get lost for hours looking over all of the craft brews that they have.

If you know the local «Beer Store Scene» as I have discovered in the area for the past decade. Savemore continues to be head and shoulders above. The staff and selection is the best around. Hands. Down.
I walked in one day and found an iPod on display (around 2004). I asked how to enter to win it… I soon found that there was no drawing, the display was being taken down and was graciously given the newest hot tech toy. (So consider me biased)
The hot air inside has been remedied by two industrial sized vents in the ceiling coupled by a fan that offers plenty of air circulation.
Cigarettes are at a State minimum. The staff has special ordered specific beers for me free of charge.
The staff is almost always extremely helpful. Wal-​Mart? Forget it. No one there knows beer.
Growler selection is great. Craft Beer selection both Cold and off the shelf is great (as they’ve recently expanded their coolers and shelves alike).
Where else does the staff ask to load your purchase in your car for you these days? I’m not surprised that there isn’t another store in the same zip code.
Go in from 9 – 5 for best service. Ask for Rob or Bob. Both are experts. I have no complaints. Their is a tremendous amount of pride in the ownership of that company.
As for the person who was looking for cold beer in storage?! Um. No. There are only kegs stowed in the back. 30 racks during the busy season. Suffice to say… I know a tremendous amount about this place of business. I’ve been a lifelong customer back from «the old» store next to the rearing horse. Remember that?
Savemore is one of those places that has helped define my life in Clifton Park. Its part of what makes Clifton Park/​Halfmoon a great place to live.

Very large selection of macro beer and soft drinks, but also a solid wall (and a half if you count islands) of craft beer from around the world. I can usually find most limited release beers here. The staff is friendly and most are very knowledgeable about craft beer. I always enjoy chatting about upcoming releases and interesting finds with them when I visit. As for prices, I can’t speak to anything but the craft beer, and it’s prices compare to other quality area beer stores. The only down side is they have no air conditioning, so expect to devote the time to really chill your beer down if you buy it in the summer months (I’ve never had an issue with spoilage). They have been moving a good selection of craft beer to their coolers as well, if you want that instant gratification.

Standard beer store with all of the usual beers and imports you can find most anywhere. The import and microbrew selection is one of the top in the area, with a large variety of Belgian, German, and British imports and a whole host of microbrews from local breweries as well as some west coast favorites. Prices are what you would expect for the beer you’re buying.
