I can see why this place would be considered Anderson’s «go to» bar. The other ones are pretty«trashy» to say the least. I been here quite a few times over the years, and it is not exactly the top on my list of dive bars and here are the reasons. Finding a Parking spot is a pain, no dart board, pool table is up stairs(which is only open once in a blue moon), loud music for small bar, and it gets extremely crowded on the weekends which is annoying especially because it is a small bar. It is a hit or a miss with the bartender, s most of them are nice. On the plus side, Saturday they have beer pong tournaments($ 20 buy in per person), and they have $ 1.00 coors lite drafts on Wednesdays. They do not do open bars for large parties(I know because I had my birthday here a few years ago).

This place is nice and staff, but it is not balanced. Male staff and male customers.

This bar was pretty open and clean. Not a big beer selection in terms of craft brews. Bartender was forgettable. Had one drink and moved on to the next bar.

Whiskey’s is the classiest dive on Anderson by far. If you’re from the cliffside/fort lee area you are bound to run into someone you went to high school with here. The prices are cheaper than the other dives on the block. On regular days drafts run from $ 3 and up. They have a very limited craft beer selection which sucks. The place eggs packed on Fridays. I wish they would open the second floor up on weekends. They have a second bar upstairs and a pool table which is rarely open. They also serve bar food until a certain time. They’re kind of stingy with buy backs. I would much rather go to The Colonial in Ridgefield. The bartenders there are wayyy more friendlier and lenient with the buy backs. Whiskeys takes credit cards. Limited parking on anderson.

This is probably one of two of the nicest bars on Anderson. The rest are pretty trashy, but i LOVE trashy. They actually accept cards here. and are really cheap. Drafts are about 3… and drinks arent too too bad… around $ 7 or so. They have a bar upstairs with a decent sized area to dance… and even play pool. However they never really have it open, unless you want to request the top open for a party. I dont think you have to pay but deff reserve it. Theres also bathrooms up there… speaking of the potty room. the bathrooms downstairs are always clean. The bar downstairs is small, so if you plan on coming here on friday or saturdays. when all the locals come here. i suggest come early. Sorry Whiskeys, but your food sucks. Ive had a few things and wasnt impressed and neither have any of my friends. However, the spot is always fun. and like i said. its one of maybe two nice bars on Anderson.

Great local bar. It’s new and classy inside, despite being a casual bar. Definitely has a sexier feel to it. I hang out there probably once or twice a month. Loads of TVs, good music, drinks aren’t too expensive. I just wish it was a little bit bigger in there. And they need to fix that front door.

I’ve been here on more than one occasion but have never checked in or wrote a review. It’s a pretty nice local bar. My boyfriend and I were on Monday(Labor Day) in the evening and it was EMPTY. We were literally the only 2 at the bar. Which, honestly, was a nice way to unwind after a hectic day. The bill came to $ 20 for 5 drinks which we figured was pretty good. I’ve never had their food so I can’t comment on it. Like I said though, it’s a nice local bar. It gets more lively on Thursday or Friday nights. Also, since it’s football season I would expect Sunday and Mondays to be busy as well.

I’ve been here twice on friday evening. They had $ 2 pints for domestics like Coors light, miller light, etc… The food is pretty good and pretty well priced. Lots of TVs but audio will always be the bar music. The crowd is pretty mixed, but generally on the younger side.
