I’ve had these guys a few times and they are probably my favorite food truck in the Akron area. They tend to go to a lot of events and show up often. They have an ever changing menu with a few mainstays. The menu is very diverse from burgers to tacos to pastas. Anytime I have had their food the service has been quick and courteous. Prices tend to be a little high but if you think about it, they are coming to you and have the cost of gas/vehicle maintenance that needs to be factored in. They aren’t ridiculous prices but enough to cover those extra expenses I imagine. I’ve had the Lobster Mac n’ Cheese which was pretty good and ran $ 10. There was a decent amount of food in this dish and the lobster was plentiful. The Original Trükballs are delicious. The sauce is excellent. They run $ 4 for 2. Fresh cut Rosemary Fries are a good side for $ 3. The real standout for me on the menu is the Chili Dog. This thing is huge, probably a 1⁄3 beef hot dog on a large bun with a crusty outside filled with sweet and spicy homemade chili. You can barley see the dog when it’s served. Ask for onions and pour on some hot sauce and you have something special! I think this monster runs about $ 6 and totally worth it. If you see these guys(how can you miss a big Orange Trük) make sure you stop and try something.

I would never buy food from this food truck. The pricing mode that they have in place is pathetic. Who charges $ 5 – 7 for one bloody taco!?! I have made a mental note to avoids this truck. Not to mention that the expensive taco was super small. No value.

I got a lobster ball and mushroom ball from the Orange Trück at the Fabulous Food event at the IX center. They were pretty good for street food and hit the spot, but the prices of $ 6 and $ 4 were excessive for a golf ball-sized ball of rice.

This review is for the truck balls and the truck balls only. I never pictured myself writing a review for balls, but here it goes. I tried the truck balls from The Orange Truk during Food Truck Mondays at Legacy Village. I was handed two large balls made of something and I handed them a $ 5.00 bill. I did not get change back. These two balls cost $ 5.00! Anyway, they were delicious, but I won’t get them again because they were $ 5.00! Flavor was amazing.

I was on Chagrin in Beachwood for a dental cleaning on my way out to my car I see a food truck. The Orange Food Truk. They had a better selection of food than what I would have expected for a food truck such as lobster mac n cheese, pulled pork sandwhiches and onion petals. Having already eaten lunch and now having a sore mouth from just leaving the dentist I decided to keep my order simple. I got the truk balls which was risotto, artichoke, red pepper and provoline cheese rolled together battered and fried and decorated with lightly topped with two sauces. I made a few runs and wind up getting to my balls after they had been cold and OMG they were still seriously delicous! I can only imagine how good they would have been had I eaten them fresh out the fryer. I hope to catch this truck again! They had some dessert type balls which was italian donuts with carmel and chocolate sauces, would love to try those next time!
