I feel compelled to express my disappointment with the service I received to my Omega Speedmaster Chronograph. On first receiving it back from what was, I, to be an overhaul, at a cost of $ 350.00, it stopped working within two days. I returned the watch as instructed and after more that six weeks it was returned to me a couple of days ago only to have it run more than 5 minutes fast. I also experienced condensation on the inside of the crystal which in my opinion should not have happened if a new gasket was installed properly and the watch tested appropriately. I cannot recommend this company be used to provide service on an Omega Speedmaster Chronograph. This is an update to advise that I received notice that my $ 350.00 is being refunded. I commend their integrity.

Popped in to have my watch’s battery replaced. In and out in under 5 minutes and it only cost $ 12. Of note, make sure you have cash if it’s a cheap repair(under $ 15). Would patronize shop again and recommend to others.

Thus is not a jeweler who knows how to pop in a new battery and who has to send watches out for real repairs. Mr. Pollock is an old fashioned craftsman, knowledgeable, and a delight to work with. Please, don’t retire!

Great service! They did for $ 80 what another online repair service wanted to do for $ 250. Parts were needed and that took a few weeks. All in all the communication was great and I now have my Seiko Divers watch back in full working order. I would recommend Pollak Watch Service anytime.

I had a new watch that needed a few lengtheners taken out.(I am a girl, so…) It is a Michael Kors so it was nothing to sneeze at. No one would do it for me because it was ceramic. MR. POLLACKWOULDN’T DOITFORME! The guy across the street finally took out the lengtheners so I wore it out last night! He said«no job is too small!» Too small for Mr. Pollack! I went with my mom, and I told her to be Julia Roberts because when we finally had it done!(Shove the baggie with the lengtheners at him and say«Big mistake. BIG.» Mr. Pollack gets a star because he had cool, watch/jewelry glasses on. But BOO!

I have a watch. It is broken. I would like it fixed correctly and in a timely fashion. That is all. These people get it. I took two watches to Pollak one afternoon. One was brand new and I needed some links taken out of the chain for my bird-wrist. The other had a cracked crystal that was in need of replacement. The watch man(I believe Mr. Pollak himself) came and assessed the situation. He offered to take the links out on the spot — which he did in 5 minutes. The cracked crystal, he promised, would be ready in 2 weeks or less as he had to order the new crystal. Actually it took barely more than a week. I had sent this same watch to a watch repair place via the internet for this exact thing previously(it’s a Skagen so has a VERY thin crystal which cracks easily). It took more than 2 months, with no updates, and me pestering for me to get this done through them and it cost nearly TWICE as much as Pollak charged. Excellent service in every way. Although we are moving to Lakewood, I’d gladly make the drive to the east side again to give Mr. Pollak my business. A great experience.
