There she goes… reviewing another chain. Why? Why do I do this to myself? Okay, I’ll tell ya. I’m at work very odd hours and I’m starving and I didn’t bring anything to eat. Donato’s is literally next door. Convenience, my friends, purely out of convenience. I’ve ordered from this Donato’s multiple times in the past 10 years. It has never been what I would call a satisfactory experience. And brace yourself cuz I’m about to get ranty. From the minute you call to place an order you’re disappointed. The person taking your order speaks 100 miles per minute and you cannot understand a thing they’re saying. They rattle off something about trying this or would you like to hear about that? Huh? I always want to ask«Could you repeat yourself … only SLOWER this time?» They tell you their name but you can’t catch it because it’s garbled in with the rest of the shit they just spewed at you. My biggest complaint is this: I get MAJOR attitude almost every single time I call here no matter what. I never ask questions. I’m never difficult. I just tell them what I want. It’s always a stupid individual pizza. What’s there to give me attitude about? Today I ordered a chicken mariachi pizza. It’s supposed to come with sour cream… only it NEVEREVER does when I go to pick it up… so while on the phone, I asked the girl VERYPOLITELY, «Can I please have sour cream with that?» Her extreeeeeemely snotty reply, «*hugesigh* Yeah, it comes on the side already.» It would have been fine had she retorted nicely. Do you NOT want my business? Do you want me to have to speak to your manager after 10 years of this malarkey? Do you really HAVE to scream in my ear while yelling at other employees about answering the phone thats ringing off the hook? And OFCOURSE, the rude chick on the phone IS the manager. I’m giving 2 stars because I will most likely be back eventually… but only because I don’t have to get in my car when I find myself at work and hungry. Oh, and their pizza sucks.
