Mossy’s has grown considerably throughout the years and has become on of my favourite places to eat in town. Their burgers are fantastic and the range of sides, including my favourite sweet potato tots, leaves you plenty of options. It is quite popular on Friday and Saturday night with a full service sports bar just adjacent to the main dining area. They have live music often and has always been family friendly. In addition we have never had an issue with our service dogs here in the 8 years we have been going here.

Loved this place. My husband and I were just driving through and we loved the name so stopped in for dinner. Their fries were great, and love that you can get wings or bites grilled. There were tons of TVs to watch and a very friendly staff. I only wish it was closer to us — this would be a regular for me

We just left there. We sat a booth in the bar and waited for 10 minutes and no one came to us. The hostess walked by, with the long brown/​black hair but did not acknowledge us. A server took an order at the long tall table, and do not come to us. We waited while she put in the order, to see if she was going to come to us, then left. By the way, your hostess with the brown hair and pale face did not thank us or tell us to have a great night, she didn’t know we didn’t eat, and she said nothing as we walked out. We will NOT be back, and we used to go often, but the service has slowly gotten worse.

Missy’s eats ales and spirits is a good place to just have a beer or to enjoy a meal with friends. I have eaten here a number of times. I have eaten the pizzas, sandwiches and the hamburgers. Everything I had there was good and I will eat there again. They also have a large selection of beer on tap for those who like to drink. The waitstaff is nice and very friendly and took good care of my friend and I every time we have eaten there.

Mossy’s is a great place to grab a beer, watch a game, and hang out with friends. It can get pretty crowded on big game days — so get there early to get your seat — especially if you’re coming with a crowd. Mossy’s really is the «Cheers» of Clemmons, with a staff (and bar patrons) who will gladly learn your name, or give you a good nickname, at least! Don’t expect anything fancy… but it’s a decent neighborhood sports bar with a friendly staff and a cast of characters worthy of a visit.

Mossys is a fun neighborhood restaurant with something for everyone. The service is good and there’s never a long wait to get a table. You can come here as a family or come late night with friends and enjoy the bar. I’ve never had anything on the menu that was terrible. The buffalo chicken wrap, bang bang shrimp and spinach salad are my favorites! My daughter loves the skillet cookie.

Unexpectedly great food for a sports bar. Wonderful service, and draft selection. This is my wife and my joint to eat and drink too much on a parent date. It is goddamned excellent.

Yes, I have been told they were rechecked and health rating is now 92. Sorry to disappoint you but it was 86 on the day I was there. It is public record, just look it up. Lots of not good violations on the report.

Went here with some coworkers on Wednesday and had a great experience. food was fresh and well prepared, nachos were huge, and the drink specials were spot on! I would recommend it if you are planning to catch a game or just hang out in a nice local bar/​restaurant!

We had lunch on St Pats day and it was great. They also had Gennius beer which was fantastic !

Love this place! They have such a great selection of food items. The homemade chips are great! It’s also a nice place to go to get together and watch sporting events on the multiple TVs they have all around.

Always steady here — good service, good drinks — nice pours. Love, love, love their version of Bang Bang Shrimp and the Buffalo Chicken Pizza is excellent. Salads are amazing and they are always willing to sub in ingredients. Great neighborhood bar/​restaurant.

I just visited Mossy’s for the first time. I liked the atmosphere of this place. It would be a great place to go if you wanted to watch a game because there are TONS of TVs here!
Our server was AWESOME! She was so polite and very attentive. Service was quick as well!
As for food, I got the Buffalo Bites. I thought the quantity and quality of these were great for the price, $ 6.99. They were «real» chicken, not chopped/​formed/​pressed nuggets.
I’d definitely return to this place!

Beer is good and cold. Wings were not so good. Good place to visit with friends and enjoy a beverage. Food has been better in past.

I think we hit Mossy’s on a bad day or at a bad time, but the food on our most recent visit was definitely «meh.» My husband and I stopped in around 2:30 pm on a Saturday to have a drink and get snacks to tide us over til dinner time.
Mossy’s has great atmosphere, feels like a neighborhood bar where you wish everybody knew your name. You just get the feeling that there are regulars there. It’s nice. The place wasn’t packed but fairly busy. Our wait person was pleasant and attentive. We ordered beers, wings and nachos to share. The beer arrived ice cold. :-) The food followed quickly. The wings were ordered spicy, and as the wait person warned, they were not THAT spicy, pretty mild, actually. And a little under cooked, not raw, just a bit pink by the bones.
The nachos were disappointing: VERY thin white corn chips, heavy on cheese and refried beans, a few pinto beans, a bit of tomato, green pepper, black olives, jalapenos, lots of shredded lettuce, and a big dollop of sour cream. No salsa, on the nachos or on the side. They were hard to eat as the chips did not hold up under the weight of the ingredients, and the refried beans and cheese just overwhelmed the otherwise bland appetizer.
It is such a cool little place. We’ve had lunch there before and we will visit again, and just stay away from the wings and nachos…

This is a really fun local sports bar. Lots of TV’s several seating areas just like you find in tons of sports bars. The menu is pretty much typical bar food. My wings were good, drinks were cold and priced about right.
The thing that gives Mossy’s an upgrade is the atmosphere. The staff and what appears to be a cast of regulars are welcoming, friendly, up beat and are seemingly ona mission to make sure everyone has a great time.
I cant wait to go back!

I can’t believe how cheap the beer is at Mossy’s! Ordered a bud light draft which was 2.79 and my boyfriend ordered a diet coke which was 2 bucks and some. He might as well should have ordered a beer. I ordered a chicken cesar salad wrap which was okay along with some chips. I liked how there was a side of ranch to accompany both but the chicken was dry. The waitress was nice but forgot we ordered waters and some other things. TVs all around and a big bar. Agreed on the typical sports bar comment.

Typical sports bar here. Plenty of TVs and a good amount of seating. I was there during the first round of sweet sixteen games on a Friday afternoon and it was definitely crowded around the bar.
Good beer specials. $ 2 Yuengling and $ 2.50 bottles of Miller Light, Bud Light, etc. Beer was cold and bartender ALWAYS had one ready before you finished your last. Great service.
I got the chili and a side of Onion Rings. Chili was fine. Very standard and certainly nothing to «wow» you. Onion Rings were good. Nice crispy coating. Served with «Southwest» Ranch which really just tasted like normal ranch which was a disappointment.
I tried a slice of my friend’s Taco Pizza. It was pretty tasty. I would probably get that next time I go.
Prices are extremely reasonable here, food is fine, and, like I said, the service was great.
