Denny’s

Bad service food was late. Waitress was not people friendly. To top it off she bought my toast out when I was halfway done my meal. Won’t be returning no time soon. 2 stars only because food was good.

Went here for a midnight snack — VERY impressed with the service! Delicious food, fresh and made to order. I ordered the peanut butter cup pancakes and there was so difference between the taste at midnight and at 9 in the morning. Waiter was attentive and respectful. Always came over for a refill and checked in on me. Surprisingly decent experience!

My last few reviews of 2015 were actually a bit hard to write b/​c of me feeling on the fence. Denny’s is one of these cases.
I hadn’t been in years but was low on funds, so my girlfriend and I decided to take our chipmunks here for dinner. I fancy ‘breakfast for dinner’ periodically. And, we adults, got just that.
I had pumpkin pecan pancakes (2), which were big and tasty — I was actually surprised. They came w/​scrambled egg whites and turkey bacon (too salty for me but my daughter gladly took it!) My girlfriend got buttermilk pancakes (2), scrambled eggs & a side of red skin potatoes — she couldn’t even finish hers. Our kids all got kids meals, although my two are over 10 yo — shhhh!
This place is like Friendly’s — even if you’re the only ones in the restaurant, the service is still slow as molasses! I don’t get it.
The bathroom was dirty (the floor and around the sink) and the carpets weren’t the cleanest.
Here we go again, for the costs vs environment ratio, is it worth it? When you’re borderline broke after the holidays. .. yes. $ 20 plus a tip for the three of us.
It’ll probably be another few years b/​f I return here but go if you put blinders on.

We defiantly were skeptical going in and even as we got seated, because it’s not the cleanest looking restaurant. BUT… Once our server came over she was very nice and attentive. the food was typical Denny’s food, exactly as expected. I’d go back if in the area.

It is freezing outside and our waitress gives us ice water even though one of us said he didn’t want one, the hot chocolate was not mixed completely, my bacon wasn’t fully on the plate, no music, dirty floor. DIRTY ASS FORK!

Great service very attentive family oriented courtious & most friendly food was made to what I ordered an my likes with out question farely crowed of 30 guest food wait was not long at all.

This particular Denny’s is on the decline. Empty condiments at the table. You’ll have to ask for a coffee refill. No fat free milk available. Plates were not cleared. Waitress didn’t bother to check up on us either. Location was not busy either. I’ve been at this location before and received excellent service while they were extremely busy. Maybe new management is needed and training in basic service skills. I will not be returning and you shouldn’t even bother.

It’s Denny’s. It’s an American restaurant. The food is decent and affordable. Kids eat free on Tuesdays & Saturdays. My husband loves the burgers & I always get a salad. Jared & Stephan are always pleasant. The service is always attentive and the food is good. American cuisine is what you’ll find here & they serve breakfast all day.

The servers were very attentive. The restaurant and bathroom were clean. Service was a little slow but the low prices made up for that. Food was average. Very kid friendly.

Servers were not very attentive. Coffee was never refilled. Food was okay but I’ve had better at other Denny’s.

Service was good, but the food was below par. I’ve been to other Denny’s restaurants before, so I’m familiar with what they offer, but I’m starting to regret my visit today. Got a stomachache from eating brunch here (TMI I know. But honestly!)
I ordered the Grand Slam Slugger for $ 8. Hash browns, eggs, and pancakes were very bland. Coffee was alright. Sausage and bacon was good, but you can’t really mess those up.
My suggestion: get the breakfast skillets. They’re piping hot, really filling, and never disappointing. Can’t say the same for the breakfast basics.

This place is awesome. Especially at 2 am. I have no idea why, but for some reason at 2am the food is incredible. Maybe its because there aren’t many people there at this time? Only had one bad experience where we didn’t get our food after an hour, but we all can’t be winners.

Denny’s is pretty standard breakfast food. It’s like IHOP but cheaper — like waaaay cheaper. Not sure if it’s because the area where I live likes to inflate the price for everything or if all Denny’s have prices this low. This particular location was pretty good. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and the servers were nice. I came with a bigger party and they were more than accomdating — but I don’t really accommend coming here with a large group because the table space can get cramped. I ordered their fried pancake balls as a ‘appetizer’ for the table. They were like pancake zeppolies and they came with this really really delicious cream cheese dip. For my main dish, I got country fried steak which came with hash browns and eggs. The country fried steak had a great gravy on top and everything else was tasted pretty standard. The hash browns here were better than I’ve had at the various IHOPs I’ve been to, they weren’t as dry here as they are at IHOP and the eggs are actually pretty tasty and they did not taste like powder. The total bill for 8 people came to around $ 60 which is REALLY CHEAP in my opinion, even for breakfast. Everyone finished their food so needless to say, this was a successful Denny’s trip.

We had a super breakfast here. Food was delicious served quickly and reasonably priced. Our server Danielle S was excellent. A real sweetie. The manager was very kind and efficient.

Since they reopened we decided to try them out again for breakfast. Before they were a decent choice for breakfast but they suddenly and mysteriously closed along with several others. This time was disappointing. That is the food and cleanliness were disappointing. Eggs were okay but the hash browns were awful. Coffee was okay. We had to move to a different table cause of ants. Not sure if they were brought in or managed to crawl in. However, service and staff friendliness were excellent. They’re many breakfast choices in the area. If they want to compete they got to step it up.

Went here around lunch time on a Friday. We were seated right away with no wait and our server asked us for our drink order promptly. After we placed our order we received our food in a timely manner. I had the fit fare omelet with tortillas which was excellent. My guest had the bacon avocado burger, which was huge and she seemed to enjoy. She brought half of it home. While we found the food to be excellent, the service was sub par. I had to ask for a coffee refill even though I put my cup towards the end of the table and our server walked by a few times. My guest also had to ask for a beverage refill. When we were finished dinning we had to wait fifteen minutes for our check. I actually was on my way to the hostess stand to ask for it when it was brought to us. Overall, the food was great, my guests brief interaction with manager was very polite and professional. The overall cleanliness was good, although the restrooms could have used some attention. I will probably give this Denny’s location anther chance and hope we get a more attentive server.

Disclaimer: If you are looking for a really good meal, don’t bother going to Denny’s. I found it best to reserve Denny’s for those late nights when most good diners are already closed and you don’t feel like looking for the ²⁴⁄₇ ones. With that, we came in pretty intoxicated and proceeded to order. The waitress was friendly and didn’t mind what I’m sure was obnoxious behavior for 1 in the morning. I just wanted something I could eat with my hands and hash browns. I got the egg and avocado burrito and hash browns. The burrito was fine, but was curiously missing any avocado mentioned. I asked for a side of salsa which made this acceptable. The hashbrowns are always the bomb and never disappoint. Everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy theirs as well.
This was my first time at a Denny’s in a couple years. They had closed down this location and recently opened it back up last year if I’m not mistaken. When they closed there wasn’t a Denny’s within probably 20 miles of where I lived… weird. I also noticed they took away the diner counter. Why?
