I understand that Chinese buffet food is low grade to begin with so I didn’t have high expectations. But this place was filthy. I saw two flies IN the sweet and sour sauce, a few buzzing near the food. Found an unidentified object in my fried rice, see picture. I can’t finish my food.

The waitstaff was blunt and inattentive. We had to repeat our drink order three times; and when we arrived back to our table from the buffet, the drinks were grouped by flavor with piles of straws, napkins, and flatware. We did not see the waitress after that and had to take used dishes to unbused tables so as not to pile-high used dishes. Drinks were never refilled. Some«clean» dishes had remnants of previous diners’ meals. At least one dirty dish was spotted per trip to the buffet. The food was of okay quality, some of it overcooked; but it tasted bland, especially the fried rice. There was one buffet line(about ten bins) of Chinese food options, two of dessert, half of salad, and one of seafood from salmon to crawfish. Taken all together, this means there was relatively little actual Chinese options.(Maybe the options change from day to day?) There were not enough serving spoons and tongs for all of the food. The sauces looked a little questionable due to odd, black flecks and congealing. The environment had low cleanliness standards. We sat under a thermostat that was encased in dark smudges. The HVAC vents were dusty and grimy. Most of the available tables held used dishes(we were there after the Sunday lunch rush, about 2:00 p.m.). One quirk is that the ice machine is in the buffet area, so the waitstaff fill five-gallon buckets and tote them to empty into the walled-off drink station across the restaurant. So, it’s twice-loud. Another quirk is that the owner or manager held loud, almost accost-level exchanges with the staff all over the restaurant regardless of patron proximity– granted that Asian languages are tonal, but these exchanges appeared less than genial by the expressions flashed. In our five years in the area, this was our first experience with this restaurant; and even though it has the virtue of being a Chinese buffet, relatively inexpensive, open for Sunday lunch; this was also our final experience. We treated a family member to birthday lunch, and after our guest of honor departed our home we felt compelled to apologize to the remaining family members for the mixed experience. We all chuckled and compared notes about our experience. Others had more to contribute– my account above is my own, alone.

Let’s be honest. This kind of food(at any Chinese buffet) is an inherently flawed imitation of true Chinese dim sum. With that being said, most Chinese buffets are assuredly one star and while little glimpses of hope might nudge up the star rating. It would be unfair to judge this place against the standard of truly authentic Chinese cuisine, but compared to other cheap buffets, it’s pretty good. It’s clean enough, the folks are friendly, the food looks like it is prepared and served with care, nothing is too under or overlooked(as is common at these places), there isn’t a frantic rush to meet the demand so it’s relaxing enough to enjoy the food. Sure I could nitpick this place to death and complain, but overall it’s a decent Chinese buffet, bordering superiority among its counterparts. I could«almost» give five stars but ethically I refuse to ever give a Chinese buffet five stars… they will forever be bound to a four star scale, reserving that fifth star for real cuisine.

Low quality overcooked buffet. No fish visible. Canned pineapple. Nothing particularly appealing. Small selection.

This is a hidden away gem in a little strip mall next to a pet store. The food was very good and the prices were absolutely impossible to beat. Just a simple Chinese buffet was excellent food and simple décor.

Very much a hole-in-the-wall place from the outside, but not too bad once you get inside. Great selection for a vegetarian like me, and you can’t beat the price. Such a nice break from the other options in the area. It’s a buffet so you never know how long the food has been out, although the times I’ve gone I see employees constantly cleaning up and replacing food. Lots of people with«hefty» appetites tend to migrate here, so if you don’t mind seeing food stacked up to the ceiling on peoples plates then you’ve got nothing to worry about. The one thing is say about this place is that it’s very warm as humid inside, even with the a/c blowing. I prefer to have a more pleasant temperature when I dine…

Has a friendly staff whom, after a few visits, knows what drinks you and your party will be ordering upon entering the establishment. Buffet has an interesting mix of Asian cuisine with some American items tossed in to keep the kids happy. It’s a great break from pizza, burgers and fries. I’d never tried sushi before, but have discovered a fondness for their little chilled shrimp sushi rolls when drenched with soy sauce.
