Nice Quiet Clean Toys R Us. The Employees seem very Helpful as well. Very Pleasant Shopping Experience..

If you know me, you know I am a last minute shopper, especially for Christmas. This year, my sister and I managed to go on December 23 instead of our mad dash of Christmas Eve shopping.
I was concerned that it was going to be really busy and all the items would be gone. But we were in luck and found that they still had several Razor scooter bikes leftover as well as other items for my nephews. It was very busy but checkout was really quick and the staff was very nice and even helped me out to my car.
Tip– look online for the items bc they are usually on sale online and show them the price bc I was able to save $ 50 on the scooter.

Sure ToysRUs is more expensive than other stores where you can buy toys or even online options but I don’t think there is anywhere that you will find this variety of toys in stock to browse. One big example is the Lego aisle. They have almost an entire wall dedicated just to Lego Star Wars sets. And an entire aisle (both sides) dedicated to Legos alone. Sure Target may be cheaper, but Target doesn’t have this level of selection.
I came mid day and mid week and didn’t find the store that crowded. There were probably more employees in the store than customers. I found employees helpful at directing me to things I was looking for and always could locate a customer service person if I needed them.

Ah, who doesn’t love a good ol’ toy store? This is the typical Toys R Us. Aisles and aisles of endless toys. The store is clean, but it is horribly organized. If you have a toy idea in mind, good luck trying to find it’s home.
They have the unique toys that you aren’t going to find at the local super stores. However, they are ridiculously over priced, as they have always been.
If you can find their cute clothes on clearance, that is the average price in the standard super store, so swoop up the deal!
The staff are scarce, so have your questions answered ahead of time.
If you want a blast from the past, this location is a good one. They have the clear roofed car port that isn’t really a car port. You can just stand there and not get wet in the rain when your chauffeur gets the car. A perfect detail… for a toy store :)

Toys can be pricey so you have to look for deals. This Christmas, I hit it hard. I found 75% of what I needed for my granddaughter including decent prices. I also found out when they were getting the last delivery before Christmas Eve. I was there at 5:30am and scored a vital Heartbreaker Bow for my girl! I have to admit this store can be a one stop shop for Toys! It just makes life a bit simpler!

I have always considered Toys R Us to be expensive — a place you would go to browse, but not to purchase. Over the last year or so, however, my opinion has completely changed. We absolutely love this Toys R Us. They are constantly having sales that bring the price cheaper than even Walmart or Amazon, and their selection is insanely awesome.
We love their selection of LEGO sets. Every month or so, they will go on sale, usually for buy one get one half off, but sometimes individual sets will be priced 50% off or more. Wait for these sales, they are totally worth it.
Some of their recent sales included buying a backpack and getting a lunchbox free, and buying one Crayola item and getting two Crayola items free. This last one was very awesome — I stocked up on large packs of construction paper, which my kids go through super fast, for very little.
So yes, their shelf prices can be high, but if you are patient and watch the sale ads, you’ll find that you can get great deals.
It’s also a great place to go to and just wander. We can easily spend an hour or two just by looking at all of the displays.
The negatives are that there is only ever one lane open (at the customer service desk, which also processes any returns), so expect to wait a little to check out. They also have very few (practically no) employees on the sales floor, so finding help can be difficult.
