Scheduled to have furniture delivered today. Cleared out all the livingroom furniture waited for the call to provide a 2 hour window for delivery then received a call the the driver was 30 mins from my location(30 mins notice). When I said I was not there but was on my way he then stated he needed to call dispatch. I then receive a call(2 mins later) from dispatch that the driver was in front of my house(not sure what happens to the 30 mins out) and would only wait 15 mins. I called customer service to let them know I was on my way and the driver said 30 mins. Of course I arrive within 15 mins and no delivery guy. I live in a gated community where delivers have to check in with the guard shack to enter the neighborhood. No record of the driver ever coming in to the neighborhood. So he lied to dispatch. Now they want to call me back tomorrow to reschedule the delivery for who knows when.

Don’t you love waking into an establishment that judges and treats you like you are not worthy of their products? From the minute you gaze through their windows it is quite evident that unless you are wearing the prerequisite clothing and possess«the look» then you will be ignored. This is exactly what happened. We were wearing our t-shirts and flip flops. The sales people didn’t budge a millimeter and one even walked by us without so much a glance or good afternoon. Such a snooty establishment!

We recently purchased two Twin XL adjustable beds and mattresses from Macy’s Furniture Gallery in Clearwater. Prior to this we had visited another national furniture chain store and been put through a dog and pony show which we not only left without making any purchases but also left us feeling disgusted and used. This was not the case at Macy’s. The associate was direct, honest, polite and very knowledgeable about his products. Although we had anticipated Macy’s pricing to be a little bit more than we might be willing to pay we were very pleased and found the store’s prices comparable to estimates we’d previously obtained. There was one small hitch in the transaction which the salesman did assist us in correcting but in the end complicated the delivery and set-up of the beds and mattresses by the Macy’s Warehouse delivery team. However, the store immediately recognizing their error, stepped up to the plate and made everything right. We couldn’t be happier with the service and products we obtained from Macy’s Furniture Gallery in Clearwater. We would certainly consider a repeat visit. If you’re in the market for mattresses or beds ask for Ray, Bedding Specialist.

I was pleasantly surprised with how wonderful one of the associates is at this location. My husband and I purchased a sofa and loveseat at this location. We found it cheaper a few days later and Joan was a huge help! She was not even the associate who made commission on the purchase, but she was more useful and so very pleasant to work with. I would recommend her to everyone who steps foot in that store. I hope that even though she did not make the commission on our sale, she will receive praise for the wonderful experience she gave us. We will only work with Joan in the future.

This place looked barren. Its highly dependent on what you are looking for if this will meet your criteria. It is not similar to an ashleys or a kanes. It is solely furniture with a mostly contemporary look. My rating is effected considerably by the style and not necessarily the staff.(We were in and out pretty quick)

Shopped here recently when looking for some new furniture. Found exactly what I needed/wanted, and got excellent service to boot. And when your furniture shopping experiences have typically been the equivalent of a long trek through the Sahara, it’s nice to occasionally finally find an oasis. My salesperson was extremely helpful, and also handled a return of one item with no hassle at all. A thumbs up experience overall, and that’s in my history of really bad furniture store shopping experiences. Selection: 4 Service: 4 Value: 4

This is a great little furniture store with quality pieces and the prices are comparable to other places if not better(some days). They do have a number of floor samples, but if you want something that isn’t a floor sample, it is 3 weeks delivery time, which is a lot considering their warehouse is in Miami. I heard a guy asking for«kitchen chairs» today-something in the $ 100/chair range and the saleswoman told him it would be 3 weeks. He was like«is there nothing I can take with me now?» And she said that he was in their showroom and all furniture must be ordered. That’s pretty much the only downfall to shopping here. No instant gratification. They also have a 7 year protection plan which I have heard over and over is a must have and it is years longer than other plans available elsewhere. I have been working with Kim, who is not like a salesperson, she’s super friendly and just easy to talk to. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a great salesperson to work with. I told her what I was looking for and she took me directly to the perfect sofa. I am definitely a fan of Macys!
