NOTMITYNICE! Maybe Mity Slow would be a better fit! While the food was not bad, the service was SO bad, I will not EVER come back to this place. It took forever to get our food,(had to change from a dine in, to a to go order). I went to ask a question, and was just looked at by the staff. DONOT go here for lunch if you are on a time constraint! You won’t make it! Oh, and all the empty tables were dirty. GYST!

Food is great, don’t get me wrong but the service sucks. It takes forever, they need more help. Be prepared to wait 30 min for your food when it’s busy.

This place was crazy cool! I liked the retro look and feel. The staff was beyond pleasant. Informed me they delivered which is convenient for my office right around the way. Of course I got the Cuban and it was better than A LOT of Cubans I have had recently. I’m always on the hunt for a good Cuban and this place has one! A HUUUGE menu as well as a lot for breakfast. I will be going back here for sure! Might be a 5 star after I try me some breakfast. So if you want a great café off of Ulmerton this is definitely your spot!

Awesome food and friendly staff. Terrible location. I wish we could take Mity Nice and put it on a major intersection that is reachable from both sides of the road and had parking spaces big enough for a motorcycle because that is the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review. Italian Beef is the best in town.

First time here. I picked this spot based on the reviews and the vicinity to my job. Also because Kozy Korner is no longer :( The restaurant itself was very clean with a nice design concept. The service was friendly and quick. Trying to stick with my low carb regimen I ordered an omelette with bacon, cheese and spinach. I could not have the potatoes or the fruit but they were nice enough to give me some fresh tomatoes on the side(yes, I realize tomatoes are fruit but roll with me here lol). Let me just say HOLYOMELETTE!!! The thing was enormous. Like so big I could only stomach ¼ of it before I was about to have eggs coming out of my ears! No joke. It really turned me off because there was barely any filling, just EGGS. I was intrigued by the rest of the menu and will definitely be back to sample some of the sweets! Great find!

The establishment has décor befitting for the location and name Mity Nice. Indeed it was nice and clean. The service we received was professional, good and attentive. The serve acknowledged us however also advised us their were ppl in front of us. I had the CAS chicken applewood sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. The sandwich presentation wise was good. The sandwich itself was good but could have been better, had it had more chicken sausage pieces. I had six little pieces spread between two pieces of white bread, eggs w/cheese and some mushrooms. I was so hungry I ate the sandwich before the post. My friend had the Broadway, and he advised it was good. He would have it again. All in all, I will come again and checkout other items on the menu.

We had breakfast at the Mity Nice Café this morning. They took over a recently closed 5 Guys, so they had a ready-made diner feel for the place. We were the only ones there. Service was snappy. The gal at the counter was friendly. I had an egg, sausage, & cheese on sourdough. Had them throw on some spinach and tomato. Now it’s healthy! Super yummy. Huge! I’m having the other half tomorrow morning. They have a large(20+) selection of hot sauces. If, like me, you believe it should be illegal for egg, cheese, and sausage to NOT have hot sauce, you’re in good hands. They have a real espresso machine. I got a caramel latte which was excellent. The medium was served in what must have been a 3 gallon cup. Prices were very reasonable for the large portions. Overall a good breakfast spot.

F THISPLACE !! Ordered for my entire staff online — received an arrival time of 1:15. 1:45 rolls around and we have no food. I call the location and they tell me there is no order — and proceed to blame it on the company that they hire to take their orders and offer nothing in the way of getting food to us — just uhhhhhh… sorry. Unacceptable — and i will never order from this garbage ass place again… Get it together.

Great find for breakfast or lunch. A bit of a challenge to find and get to with all the road construction, but worth it! Not your average run down strip center sandwich shop by any stretch.

We wanted somewhere to pop in for a quick breakfast before we started our day and quick didn’t happen. We waited entirely way too long, it was actually 45 mins and all we ordered were basic sandwiches that were ok. Luckily we didn’t have a tight schedule otherwise we would’ve made a stink about it. Food was a solid 3 but the wait definitely brought their rating down. The place was busy so you can tell it’s a local favorite.

I was on the Pinellas County side of the bay for work one morning and decided to meet my mom for breakfast. After checking for a good place on Unilocal we decided on the mity nice café. The café is a bit difficult to find if you don’t know the area. It is right off of the main road however the turns come up quickly and the traffic moves even more quickly. I drove right past my turn quickly realized it, and made a turn into the next establishment. The parking lots didn’t connect so I took a risk and park there and walk. Turning around on that road was not an option. The café is welcoming, brightly lit, spacious, and clean. The young ladies at the counter or eager to help, they took our order, and told us they would bring our food out to us. My mom got the bagel and lox, & I ordered an omelette. Both meals were delicious. We also ordered coffee, I have a café con leche, and my mom had an Americano. The coffees were hot and tasty. The only negative part of the entire experience was that the young lady behind the counter forgot to make our coffees. We received our food and sat there for 4 or 5 minutes, at which point I got up and said something to her, she quickly apologized and our coffees came out shortly after that. If you are in the area this is a solid place to eat breakfast and I recommend you give it a try!

Not super impressed with this place. Have tried it a few times now and have had mixed results. The salads are generously sized but the chicken on it is horribly dry and the balsamic dressing is just awful. I tried a grilled chicken sandwich once that was the worst piece of chicken I have ever had in my life. Gristle and fat all through it and tough as shoe leather. The burgers are acceptable but some days served rare, other days well done. The turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo is good though. Prices are fine for what you get. Service, even for pick up, is sloooowwww.

I was headed to Little Greek for lunch when I came across Mity Nice. I love trying new places and their menu looked really good. Service was great we got there just in time before the lunch rush. Although we were early it still took a long time for a BLT and a Mity Wild Turkey sandwich. It was worth the wait for my sandwich which was the BLT. Some may say you can screw one up but you can. The only issue with my sandwich was that the lettuce wasn’t washed thoroughly. Still a great BLT and I picked it off. I will be going back and trying something new.

Best café con leche I’ve had in a looooong time. Everything else was good too. Portions are hefty so bring your appetite … Also ordered buttered cuban bread with cinnamon and sugar… Perfection! Highly recommended and will return if we’re ever in the area again.

Had the Elvis sandwich for breakfast. OMG this sandwich is amazing. You could taste the honey, banana, crispy bacon, and peanut butter in every bite. Loved that the bread was nice and toasted. Husband had the omlette which he loved. The omlette is fluffy and filled with tons of meat. The owner is always nice and friendly.

Hearty whole grain oatmeal w/their housemade candied walnuts… loaded w/cinnamon, cranberries-sooo goood. Top it off with cuban cinnamon«toast»! Yum! So glad we came back for breakfast once more before leaving town! Met the owner – such a lovely lady. Marvelous job on this breakfast/lunch diner! I also love the sayings on the wall-very optimistic and my kind of place:)

4-stars for the food, 2-stars for the service. I had a great time at a Unilocal event held at Mity Nice Café in January. I have been back a few times since then. The sandwiches are amazing. The salads are decent. I can highly recommend the Old Broadway, The Mity Wild Turkey, and there is a whole section of the menu dedicated to Peanut Butter sandwiches. Awesome. The service issues: one time they forgot a sandwich, thus forcing us to drive all the way back over there to retrieve that deliciousness. Another time, we ordered on-line, only to arrive at the restaurant to discover that no one had seen the order, so we waited 15 minutes after our scheduled pick-up time. The wait staff did offer us a gift card for the first mistake. Hopefully these kinks get worked out, I would be happy to bump up those stars if future visits prove to be hassle-free.

My husband and I just stopped here this morning. We were hungry, it very close by and I saw some good reviews from other Unilocalers. The woman at the front desk wasn’t overly friendly, welcoming or helpful. David got sausage egg and cheese and I got bacon egg and cheese both on Cuban bread. While eating the first half I found a hair baked into the crust of the bread. Although this was probably a fluke, first impressions are lasting. In addition, there just wasn’t anything really special about the atmosphere or the sandwiches. I did like that they had a wide selection of hot sauces! NEW*** I received a nice email from the owner the day after the initial review. He informed me that the Cuban bread is «baked and topped with Palm leaves and at times when we pull the strands it leaves behind thin layers of the leaf which might look like hair». It very well could have been that and not a hair but I can’t say with any certainty. He did invite us back for a second go, next time we are in the area we will try again and I will update my review!

I opened an email around 5am that said one of our upcoming Unilocal events would be at Mity Nice. I had never heard of Mity Nice, so I did some research. Around 2 hours later we were at Mity Nice ordering a burger and an Italian Beef Sandwich. That is right… you can get a burger at 630am! You have to be careful when locating Mity Nice because it is on a very busy section of Ulmerton. It is located in a small plaza that is not facing the road(it faces sideways). It is beside Little Greek and near the International Diamond Center. It is a bit difficult to find, but worth the effort. The environment inside is nice. It feels like what I imagine an old-school burger and milkshake joint would have been like decades ago. We were the only people there since we opened them up, but the employees were very friendly and service was fast. **They have an entire section of the menu with PEANUTBUTTER** You can order an Elvis! Total Win. While I didn’t order from the PB section of the menu this time, I will be in the future! We placed our orders to go. I did the build-your-own burger. I don’t remember which cheese I went with, but my other toppings were bacon, balsamic tomatoes, ;ettuce, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and dill pickles. The burger was delicious! It was very juicy. The real standout was the balsamic tomatoes… incredible. My Husband must have liked his sandwich too because it disappeared quickly. Even the fries were well done. We will definitely be adding Mity Nice to our list of regular restaurants. I just wish they were open for dinner too!

Why 5 stars? Because the Old Broadway is the best sandwich in Tampa Bay. — — — I said it when it was at Moxie’s in Downtown Tampa. I said it was it was Nosh Café in the Westchase area. And it remains the same at Mity Nice Café, near Feathersound. The Old Broadway is my favorite sammy in TB. The owners of this bad ass sandwich shop have had to re-locate a couple of times, but their product has not changed a bit. So what is the Old Broadway, you ask? It’s a cuban sandwich packed with coleslaw. It’s also illegal in 13 states to attempt to eat this without a minimum of five napkins nearby. But this is a good thing. On my sandwich-meter: the messier, the better… who wants some dry meat betwixt two slices of bread? I say bring on the juiciness, even to the point of a spillage guarantee. Just be sure to proceed with caution. While the Old Broadway is delicious, it must be treated with respect. Do not attempt to devour it carelessly while wearing all white, or it will devour you.
