I think there is a law that no business attached to a restaurant is allowed to be amazing. I really regret that. Having a coffee shop attached to the Holiday Inn is brilliant. But compared to other coffee shops, this one doesn’t stand out or even stand shoulder to shoulder with other shops. I had a waffle. It was okay. The coffee was okay. If you just want a coffee and a waffle, go for it. Nothing wrong with it. Just don’t expect anything to be especially great. You’re not going to come here to slurp down great coffee while reading a book in a comfy chair. I think the furniture comes from the same place that appoints Subway restaurants. The hours are… brief. The final disappointment was going down in the afternoon for a cuppa and finding they’d been closed for hours already. They’ve got the location in spades. They’ve got the great base concept for a café(coffee + waffles sounds great!) Now the interior needs an uplift to feel like a proper café, quality of goods and appointments could use an uplift, too. And the hours… Coffee lovers don’t just drink in the morning.

We are staying at the hotel where this place is located so we only went for coffee. The lattes were great, I got just the plain latte and my wife got the hazelnut and both top notch with a little design on top. The supposedly have great waffles and I am looking forward to trying them.
