Great place! Small menu but our breakfast food was very good. Creative smoothie selection. The ones we had were delicious. Small, relaxed, close to the beach.

Ok so my husband cannot stop talking about this place. We are in the area for 2 days and went there 3 times. Amazingly smooth cold pressed coffee. My son loves this place too for the grilled cheese and tomato soup and loved the silver dollar pancake(which I liked too). The pancakes has a great crisp and are moist. Also the eggs that you can tell are great quality. I personally like the veggie burger simple and yet so good. Everyone is so nice there and super kid friendly and I love the kids menu as it comes with a healthy side too like applesauce or a banana or apple. Definitely a place we will look forward to when we are there again.

Stopped in on a whim, what a magical little joint. Awesome menu, all kinds of juices, smoothies, coffees and teas! My kind of happy place, and yea they had some Bob Marley and Jack Johnson on in the background. The breakfast sandwich and veggie burger were both stellar!

Best Breakfast Sandwich in Clearwater! My wife and I loved the soft and fluffy eggs in their breakfast sandwich. My kids polished off their granola yogurt parfaits. They also offer fantastic coffee and smoothies. Although not as conveniently located, there was no wait, staff was friendly, and the food was so good, you will be happy you made the trip!

Came here when we realized the wait for Clearwater Café was crazy– and so glad we had to find an alternative. This café serves the best egg sandwich I have ever had. Eggs were fluffy, cheese melted into the eggs, thinly sliced ham on a tasty non-generic muffin. Their smoothies were great too(highly recommend the espresso one). The vibe behind the counter was slightly odd but whatever, food was great!

Back again, this time on vacation having moved back to NYC from Tampa. One of the many great losses in the transition back has been a place like Basimo’s. In the realm of gourmet coffee houses and $ 15 juices and smoothies that NYC is, nothing hangs with Basimo’s $ 8 wonders. Keep it up family-run business.

Found this little place, again, via Unilocal!Turns out they are ranked #8 for breakfast on Unilocal, which we did not know, but totally get! It’s very no frills and off the beaten tourist path. They are organic and support local farmers. Who can’t get behind that?! I had black coffee, while the fiancé branched out and had the silver bullet. That last one may be an acquired taste for some of you. It has grass fed butter, palm oil, coconut oil and we think coffee. Both had egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches on English muffins. Very moist and super delicious. We also accidentally ended up with an organic bagel. It was different, but not in a bad way. Typical bagel, but consistency was light and crispy, like toast. That’s the best way to describe it. Highly recommend it!

We were in Florida on vacation, up early before the kids for some alone time and chai. We walked past three other shops to come here, attracted by the local and organic, non-gmo offerings. The service was rude, we weren’t even greeted just asked what we wanted. Two traditional chais seems pretty standard to me. The gentleman making things was very nice. No sleeves, okay fine I’ll be eco friendly and not complain about the chai being really hot through the cup. Except it wasn’t even worth drinking. I’m a Starbucks lover, but I’m also a lover of small cafes because nothing compares. So disappointed.

Love going here for breakfast! The food is all organic, fresh, made to order and the owners are great host, and very authentic. I usually get the oatmeal or egg & cheese sandwich, always a smoothie and a coffee. They have the real deal Turkish coffee — which runs like mud at the bottom(just like in Istanbul). I did not get here this trip to FL for lunch, but that is also great. Highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is very casual, small, intimate — order at the counter kind of place, but, the seats are comfortable. They also offer WIFI. I hung there reading my online news last two days.

Why is this place SOGOOD?! My husband got the vanilla yogurt parfait, it was he best we ever had. I have no idea what that granola was made of, but it tasted like a cherry pie or something super good. Presentation was great too. I got the scrambled eggs with silver dollar pancakes and I’m not lying or exaggerating when I say this. Those were THEBEST scrambled eggs we’ve ever had. Again, I have no idea what was so special, but the texture and taste was so perfect. Pancakes were great too. Not a huge meal, but perfect to give you energy for the morning. The coffee. I don’t know how this place can be so good at everything, but it was so great! Barely used any sugar or milk and it was somehow the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was great. Chill, small, local feel. Very clean. Quick service. We sat outside and watched the rain. And the owners are so nice, smiling faces and great service. Thanks guys!

The absolute best organic/natural restaurant around! Pristine restaurant with organic smoothies, food and coffee. Top notch service! Four of us went for breakfast and had smoothies, poached eggs, silver dollar pancakes and an egg sandwich. Zero complaints. If you are looking for a res pit from the greasy spoons of Clearwater. This is the place!

The café is super cute and tiny. We went around 10 and it was slammed. We ended up sitting outside but moved inside after it calmed down. We ordered a café con leche, vanilla parfait, & silver dollar pancakes with scrambled eggs. We waited close to an hour and were about to go up to get an update, when one of the workers came up and asked if we were waiting for anything. When we told him, he went back and had our food brought out pretty quickly(I guess our ticket got lost??). Even though we did wait a long time, I’m still giving a good review because I have worked in the restaurant industry and understand accidents happen. He was very apologetic and gave us a ticket for $ 10 off our next order. Everything was very tasty!

This small café doesn’t look like much from the outside. Its sort of off the main drag, it’s small, and easy to overlook. My advice: don’t overlook it. I came in here looking for a gluten free snack for one of my family members based on another review here that they had a celiac-friendly food option. The cookies mentioned in that review were not available. But the proprietor came out and met my daughter, had a conversation about the gluten free options on the menu(and how she could modify menu options to make them gluten free). She worked in an entirely separate area of the kitchen with freshly cleaned utensils and was meticulous about not cross-contaminating the food she was working on. If you have a food sensitivity or allergy, take note. The ingredients were all farm fresh and delicious, freshly cut for our order. Pro tip: they are very proud of their hummus platter here and with good reason. This was absolutely delicious, and the portions are most generous. No GMO. Just good, clean, fresh, healthy food. There was a selection of loose leaf tea out for display, with a sign encouraging you to have a sniff and see which one might appeal to you. Ummm… all of them? There’s a poached egg breakfast platter that is also on my hit list for the next visit. I did note that one patron had a friendly dog inside with him. The environment is very relaxed, friendly, neighborly. None of that«you’re a visitor on my island and I live here full time» nonsense to be found. I’m ecstatic to have found this place thanks to another Unilocal review, and I’m definitely coming back before my vacation is through. Yes. Yes! YES! I’m a fan. While there is a line literally out the door and down the sidewalk at the diner a block away(you know the one I’m talking about), there might be an empty table or two here waiting for you.

Here visiting and looking for a good breakfast place! This place is so cute it’s hidden so not so easy to find unless you know but once you do you’ll be happy you found it! They have all organic foods and Turkish coffee which was cool to try and was good. I also got the sunset smoothie which was very good and the silver dollar pancakes with eggs. Everything was good and service was good! Would def recommend!

I wasn’t sure about this place since the reviews were so mixed. I decided to take a chance on my own since I didn’t want to risk it with my group. I am so glad I did! I walked over from the Hilton and it was only about five minutes. The staff was super nice and allowed me to order the eggs and silver dollar pancakes off the kids menu. I ordered a latte too. The eggs were so good and they were served with avocado and the most adorable pancakes. The coffee was good, but I’ve had better. I enjoyed my breakfast at a table on the sidewalk outside. It was really nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. So glad I decided to check it out!

This spot! Take a fabulous ritualist Turkish coffee experience + friendly service + a fresh modern space and top it all off with a nice bistro table outside perfectly poised for people watching and you get a memorable experience worthy of 5 stars and then some. So glad I visited! Definitely NOT a tourist trap. Do yourself a favor, take a stroll to this gem; we walked here from the Comfort Inn & enjoyed the journey.

I really hate when my first impression is bad, because I’m likely to never go back. It took my friends and I an hour and fifteen minutes to receive our food, ridiculous. I have never known eggs, pancakes, and a veggie burger to take over an hour. We arrived and placed our order, which all went smoothly. Besides my friends and I there were only 2 other people there. So that’s a TOTAL of 5 people, it wasn’t busy at all. So around the 30 minute mark of waiting, two other people join the group that was already there, and probably received their food in about 20 minutes. So I check my phone and now almost 45 minutes have gone bye and this café has yet to bring our food. Finally an hour and fifteen minutes later and 2 of us receive our food, and my other friend STILL has to wait an additional 10 minutes to get her plate. It seems to me that they were more concerned with their table of regular customers, than anyone else their. It’s such a shame, because I see that they’ve put so much effort into what types of food & drink they serve, however for the price and the wait time my experience was lack luster. We never received an apology for our food taking so long, they just simply brought it out to our table. I almost wanted to pack up my food and leave. With 5 people WORKING behind the counter, and LESS than 8 people inside I really don’t understand. & after all that waiting the food wasn’t even hot.

Dog friendly! Lots of organic healthy choices. Fair trade coffee and lots of yummy juice options! The workers are super friendly! NOGMO found here sign Very clean place! All of their ingredients are organic and stuff I buy at home! Perfecto! The barista accidentally made me a hot coffee instead of iced so he is kindly making it over and offered the other one at no charge to anyone in the restaurant. We will definitely be back in the morning for Java and maybe back this afternoon for smoothies or iced tea :) The lunch menu looks amazing. Veggie burger. Hot cheeses Black bean dip. Hummus. Albacore tuna salad. Grilled cheese sandwich with creamy tomato soup. Sprouts. Avocados. Oh my! Organic yogurt parfait. Organic bagel. Chicken salad. Quesadillas
