Limit Out Bait & Tackle

This place might be a good little shop however I wouldnt know because out of the 5 times I’ve been to Clear Lake this place is ALWAYS CLOSED! and I’m not talking about after hours. Middle of the day and closed on a weekend. Which is extremely frustrating since I’m camping just around the corner and the next closest bait shop is 15 mins away. Thank god the Tower Mart down the street always has the bait I need because I sure as heck cant rely on this place

Wow ! If you’re new to fishing and need some advice the gentleman working here Steve is phenomenal. He’s so knowledgeable and patient. I bought some swim baits and hooks, never using this set up before Steve took so much time to explain to me how to use it. Also how to make it weedless for a fishing disaster like myself, how did I not know this before !

If you’re going out to Clear Lake to catch monster bass, definitely add this place to your stops along the way. They have a large selection of swimbaits, lures, rods, reels, and pretty much anything you need to get you fishing trip off to a good start.
The man who helped me was very knowledgeable about the bait and made a few good suggestions, but steered us away from expensive and unnecessary swimbaits. If you’re searching for some inspiration on catching the big one, just take a look around the shop and you’ll see tons of pictures of some great catches.
It’s also convenient because it’s about 100 yards from the launch ramp, so you don’t have to go out of your way to pick up anything you may have forgotten. My suggestion: stop by and ask what’s biting and pick up a pack of lures before hitting the water, you won’t be disappointed. Happy fishing.
