Perfect for a snack, lovely ham and cheese croissant. I’m not a coffee drinker, so I can’t comment on that, but there was a good selection of fruit based sodas. Had a nice chocolate muffin for dessert. Nice place to stop and next to a gas station which was convenient.

Character counts. When you walk in to Catfish Coffee you feel you’re going to get a good cuppa coffee and boy you do. They’re free trade coffee is awesome. Today I added a ham and cheese croissant to complete flavorful experience. I only wish they would open the French door open Nice, California

Perfect place to stop on a rainy day. There are two locations; one in Clear Lake and this one in Clear Lake Oaks. They have a parking lot on the side. This is a cozy, local business with friendly staff. The WiFi is free with a purchase. They have Paninins, salads, hot dogs milk shakes, smoothies and of course, coffee beverages which is why I stopped in today. They use a responsibly sourced coffee called Dean’s Beans. I ordered a large Loca Mocha which has 4 shots, mocha, breve with whipped cream for $ 5.25. I was pleased it was not scalding hot and I didn’t have to wait 20 minutes to drink. Very creamy, and mildly chocolate. They have a pretty extensive milkshake menu that I would like to come back and try. They are only open until 5:00 pm.

this place is awful. the music sucked, the clientele are tweakers, it took half an hour for the dude to make us a salad and microwave a hot dog. he chatted on the phone to his buddy instead of making our food which was rude. the décor is really tacky. the food and drinks are overpriced for what you get. i wouldnt go back here

Thanks again, Unilocal, for helping me discover this gem! What a way to start your day! Warm and welcoming proprietor, socially-responsible coffee beans and the best Mocha I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to try their lunch fare on our next trip over Hwy 20.

Hazelnut milk latte. Oh My God I’ve asked EVERYWHERE since passing through this town’s gem… no one else has Hazelnut milk!!! They even offer up hemp milk!!! Aside from epic alternatives to dairy, the service was speedy, and everything was clean, we’ll managed and proved to be a requirement every trip we will take through that region!

Hard to find a good place in Lake Co. This place is fabulous! Don’t let the tattoos on the barista alarm you. He is charming and sweet, and clearly well-liked by the locals. He seemed to know everyone’s favorite dish/beverage when they entered the place. They have tasty bagels, a good tea selection, and well made coffee. The décor is local and entertaining. They have reasonable seating options, open at 7:00 a.m., and have a decent menu which offers a little something for everyone. This is definitely programmed into my GPS for future visits. This is one of those little gems you shouldn’t pass up.

Total hidden gem! Great coffee and smoothie drinks that are all customized, different milk and juice starters. I was surprised to choose from hazelnut, soy, hemp, almond or cows milk! I expected bagels, coffee, iced tea and that’s it. But they have so many different kinds of sandwiches, coffee drinks, treats. Super cute place, great service. Get the ports bella panini with pesto! So good and lemony. Minus the store for the Caesar salad. The dressing was pretty bland and the lettuce didn’t quite go with it.

Great quality but slow service. Awesome milkshakes. Well made coffees. Definitely the place to go in this town judging by the line of patient locals. Make sure you have lots of time though, our food took about 20 mins(fresh made Paninis) as one person seems to be doing everything. And they used pressed turkey in the sandwiches :(

I was pleasantly surprised to find this coffee shop(with food!) on my route back to Sacramento area from Mendocino. This location is in Clearlake Oaks on the north side of the lake. This is the Catfish Coffee 2 and it’s only a few months old.(I’ve never been to the first location) The menu offers a range of coffee, espresso, and milkshakes. They also serve lunch including panini sandwiches, hot dogs and salads.(See photo of menu boards) I had a mocha and ordered a #1 Chicken pesto panini to go. Both items were good, not mind blowing, but I’d definitely return. In fact I’m relieved to know there is something besides fast food along that road– Because I plan on returning soon for some wine tasting at all the tempting wineries in Lake County! (Btw I spotted a sign for free wifi as well)
