Firehouse Pizza Restaurant

So relieved to find this gem! Not a lot of great options in the area and this place has the best pizza we’ve ever had! We ordered a medium combination and a medium «Ba Dounga» –amazing!!! Went for lunch, one person on staff and he was quick and friendly! Can’t recommend this place enough!

The manager is a complete freakin douche bag they messed up my order Ahhhgain this is my 3^rd to me ordering from here and last. They messed up our pizza we asked if we can have it corrected the pizza man was really nice and said yes and that we could keep the pizza, The «Manager» yells at him for the offer and says «who’s going to pay for it?» The delivery guy said he would, I opposed the manager refused to remake the pizza and offered 50% off our next order which was very arrogant of him so I ordered a pizza with sausage only for the kids and used the 50% since my hands were tide. The only reason why they treat people like crap is because the next pizza place is 20 min away. The pizza would be better off without these employees.

Wouldn’t ever go back! They seem to use decent ingredients but they don’t know how to cook a pizza. After the first two pizzas I asked for were limp and undercooked, I specifically asked for my next to be «crispy, well– done, and with cheese browned.» I received another pizza that was limp and underdone.
When I called to complain, I was not offered an apology or a solution to my problem. To pay $ 23 for a pizza that I have to cook myself is more than a little ridiculous. I guess if you like your dough cooked rare then this is the place for you. Another example of a pathetic Lake County restaurant:(

Pretty good pizza given that their isn’t much of a selection around the area. The only problem I really have is how expensive it is. I am a fan of their combination pizza, but I would veer away from their breadsticks. The sticks are very bland and not worth the money.

Love this place. I have seen this private chain expand and hit tough times, even go through a few owners but one things HSS always stayed the same… The formula for an amazing pizza. Keep it up guys l. I am forever a loyal customer

I have been ordering from Firehouse Pizza since the new people took over. It is so up and down on how their pizza is that you never know what to expect. The same goes for the delivery. Tonight I had the WORST pizza I have ever eaten. It was just plain terrible. The pizza before this one was great. The BBQ hot wings were good. I had a rude young man on the phone one time and I complained about him. That hasn’t happened again and that’s why I continued to order from them. They cannot give an approximate time for delivery. Last delivery was 25 minutes. I was told tonight 25 minutes. An hour and 5 minutes later I called and asked about the delivery. I was told the deliveries are no less than 50 minutes and the lady wanted to know who I spoke with. I said I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble but if the pizza will be here shortly, that is fine. Needless to say I am disappointed with this place. I don’t think I will be ordering again.

Hands down the best pizza I have ever had! (And trust me I have had a lot of pizza in my time) It just breaks my heart that they are only in Lake County. My boyfriend and I recently had to move to Orange County down south and I can honestly say this place is on my top five list of what I miss most! Keep up the great work guys! (And branch out if you can! ;D)

The staff here is really nice and the prices are not bad and the wait time is pretty good.
Only downside is that both pizzas had no flavor… i guess thats a big downside

Nothing in Clearlake Oaks looks nice, nor clean but the pizza is the best around the lake. I’m a pizza lover, and lucky to live nearby. They also never got my order wrong. I recommend this place. I don’t eat there, I order and take out. I would have the appetite to eat inside. Too dark, and yes, dirty looking. But good pizza!

Great for a quick bite or take out.
A little pricey, but you can’t beat their quality.
I love the cheesy bread & combo pizza, very meaty.

Wonderful pizza!!! Truly the best I’ve eaten in a long time! The staff was super nice and very helpful! Definitely go to this pizza place if you are visiting! Small place but pretty awesome.

I would give this a four star review If they would clean the place up pizza was great I had a chicken garlic pizza it was so good but the building was just very dirty and out of date. also I only saw one person working there she was very nice

Listen, I am not here to get into a huge debate with you over this, however common sense does tell us that if a credit card is left behind at a business that the owner would hopefully do the right thing. Regarding your police officer issue. If he stopped by in uniform… possibly and that’s a big IF I would have felt safe in releasing it. Why couldn’t the owner of the card drop back by the restaurant with photo ID and call it a day? I know the owner and it just doesn’t sound as if that is who you were talking with, although listen stranger things have happened, especially in that area. I would just suggest that you take your photo ID with you and pick up card. I would think though at this point you would have just cancelled your card and ordered a new one. Let’s be honest. It’s literally a real live living horror film to even just drive in the area. Free entertainment I guess right? I pity anyone who can’t escape the area. I hope it all worked out for you!!! Let’s be honest, we only stopped here because we were hungry and there was NOTHING else open. When we walked in I was very hesitant to eat here because of the shabby, dirty interior and the fact that there was no one else eating in there (granted it was 4pm or so). Also, it was in a run down city right next to a «smoke shop» and tattoo parlor. But, our growling bellies overpowered us so we ordered two small pizzas and sat down. It was then that I realized we were sitting in a dump. The «carpet» was dirty, ripped and tattered. It looked like there used to be more booths in the middle that they took out so there’s frayed strips of carpet missing with bare concrete showing underneath. Their fix to the problem is to put a pool table on top of it. Um… still tacky. The wood on the booths was sticky and don’t even get me started about the bathrooms (which you need a key to get into).
But we didn’t come there for the ambiance. We went for the food… which was surprisingly great (hence the two stars). My white sauce pizza was made just the way I like it and the crust wasn’t over/​under done. And my husband’s combination pizza was good too.
But the reason for the lack of stars is the fact that the place was dirty. If the lobby and eating area is disgusting, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.

Well we went here tonight for pizza, called and ordered and asked for a small all meat light sause with artichokes and a small salami mushroom light sause, we went picked up and it was discussing and had too too too much sause I called and they are Dynamite on Customer Service they made me a Dynamite New Pizzas.

I will NEVER go here. My niece went here recently and she accidentally dropped her debit card there when it slipped out of her pocket. When she called the business about it, they would only release it to her with her photo ID even though she asked to have it released to her fiancé. While we appreciate the thought for the safety issue with this… Her uncle (a law enforcement officer) was on his way through this town the very next day. So, she called to see if they would release the card to him rather than her having to drive the 4 hr round trip to retrieve it. She was told an employee took the card to his/​her home with the employee last night. WHAT??? Seriously??? And the owner actually defended this employee. And then was rude to my niece about it. Seriously? They would not release the card to someone my niece wanted, but thought it was okay for some employee to take it. Sketchy!

Stopped here while riding around the lake, the floor was dirty and the carpet was torn and nasty, but I was hot hungry and thirsty, ordered a combination pizza, while waiting for our food one of the guys from the kitchen came out to another table and his shorts were filthy and he was wipeing his hands on His ass, then I saw him
kitchen and pick up some bowls. of some.type of food with out washing his hands, kinda bums me out, what I don’t see doesn’t bother me but that did, the only reason I gave three stars is because I will say I think it was the BEST combination pizza I have ever ate. I might even possibly eat there again if in the area.

Stopped in late-​ish on a Sunday night after a long day of bike riding up on Hull Mountain. Called ahead once we had cell service and when we arrived our food was hot and ready. The place is a little tattered but it’s clean and the service was friendly and attentive. They pay attention to what they’ve got. We had a medium all meat pizza and 6 chicken wings. Food was good. We will be back. It’s probably some of the better hot food you can get heading through Clear Lake.

Got the 16″ pepperoni and sausage and a coke for $ 22 even. Pizza was pretty good but kind of greasy. A few dollars over priced. The décor could definitely use an up grade. Over all not bad if you’re craving pizza in the middle of no where.

Pros: Excellent pizza (generous with toppings), friendly new owner; fun atmosphere
Cons: Front counter staff lacks personality (sorta looked like she just woke up); sticky table tops
Will be back when in the area!
