I don’t know what’s happening to all the Walgreen’s in the past couple of years. This is why I’ve switched my pharmacy business to CVS.
This Walgreens needs help.
The wait time on the phone to the pharmacy is way too long.
The techs are incompetent. They tell you that they will process an order but forget to do it. I have to follow up with the doctor and the insurance company to get the job done.
You ask these people questions and they act dumb.
I mean, come on, this is not a high traffic location. It shouldn’t take that much time and effort to make the place run smoothly. I’m tired of wasting time with them.
Also, I think granny at the front counter needs to retire. She looks like she’s 90 years old and moves so slowly, you want to grab the items and bag them yourself so you can get the hell out of there.

Had gotten some medicine for my newborn there and he was not liking the taste and would spit out the medicine. Called up the pharmacy, expecting they couldn’t be of any help or would have to charge me to fill a new prescription and then get it flavored, and I was pleasantly surprised. Sherman went out of his way to look up the right flavoring to help neutralize the bad taste in this medicine. Can you believe that? I haven’t tried it with the new flavoring yet, but the customer experience at this Pharmacy was wonderful!

Pretty decent location. Lots of Parking but can get pretty packed in the parking lot during peak hours. I usually walk over to Safeway to get what I need. But Walgreens has a couple things that Safeway doesn’t, but all together I don’t go there to often.

I actually have decent experiences at this Walgreens. Never had a problem with granny. she is always friendly to me. Yes the pharmacy seems overworked but hey, they probably got all of Long’s business when they became CVS (that pharmacy is the pits). Sherman and Angela are awesome and always help me out. they will put a rush on my prescription if they are out. There was a new girl last time I was there and she was kinda rude. other than that i like this one. I drive from antioch to come here. Thanks Sherman and Angela for all your hard work

Ok someone needs to do something about the granny that works at the register! She is absolutely terrible. always in a cranky mood, yells at the children, gives incorrect change, does not honor the no receipt you get $ 5 rule ect. Many customers are not returning because of this problem and I am one of them. 1 word. trannygranny

Clayton, CA
Unlike SF, where you can find a Walgreens on every corner, there are only a couple in other cities. I like Walgreens because they offer a lot of things other drugstores don’t carry and they have really good coupons and sales some times. This location is in need of a remodel if it’s going to compare to other drugstores such as the newly remodeled Longs across the street and all the Targets around. The customer service is also very unfriendly and cold.
