We ordered imo’s today. and OMG it was amazing . In the past few years i had kinda been feeling like the quality had gone down. Today i was pleasantly surprised to see that at least one location still makes it right ! it was so delicious we will defiantly be ordering again. We had it delivered and it was perfectly timed. This location also has online ordering… So happy to see that this location still cares about taste and serving St Louis style pizza.

I’ve probably reviewed another Imo’s location, but this one is probably nicer than most you’ll find! It’s a very nice dining room with several TVs and it’s much bigger than most locations. As always — Imo’s pizza never disappoints. Delicious pizza, and other choices. One nice thing about this location is their small salad bar. That’s a nice touch for bottomless salad with your pizza. I wish more locations did that! Love that Imo’s House dressing. Stop in here for lunch! It’s one of the quiet places since it’s farther outside the center of office buildings than some other places.

The pizza never disappoints. Imos is the best when eaten right away so that the crust doesn’t get soggy from sitting in the box. However, just ate there tonight and somehow there was an automatic tip added. When my husband asked for an itemized receipt, he saw there was $ 1.48 added in addition to tax. The cashier said he never saw that before and offered to fix it. We let him keep it. The workers are always friendly here but in the future we’ll find another Imos location that lets us decide what we tip. So beware folks. Pizzas great, but take a careful look at your ITEMIZED receipt.

Very good overly sauced pizza that is supposed to be the pride of St. Louis. I found the sauce to be a little sweet and it was a lot of it. The pizza is similar to Donato’s pizza that I used to get in Ohio but found to be much better.

Being from Chicago, home of the deep dish pizza, Imos thin crust Deluxe pizza did not disappoint me. I tried different Imos around the area and Clayton’s Imos consistently delivers.(No pun intended.) Most often when eating thin crust pizza, the crust tends to get soggy due to the amount of ingredients added to it. However, in this case, the pizza at Clayton’s serves a nice crispy thin crust. Even though there are other locations nearby, I would rather drive to this location. They do not disappoint.

Best Imos I’ve had. All locations are different but this one is always perfect… Others are hit or miss…

First, this Imo’s is the least friendly Imo’s I have ever been to. They all make it seem like you are ruining their day by being there, as now they have to actually work. Secondly, they are unwilling to read any coupons they have, making you feel like you are requesting the world out of them. All in all, their customer service is horrendous. To match that, their pizza is the worst of any Imo’s I have eaten. Chesterfield, Hampton, and Olive locations all have far superior pizzas with much friendlier staffs. It’s a shame this location, in a great area, is such a sore eye for Imo’s.

Everyone said I needed to eat at Imo’s, so we did. I was not impressed. The pizza was equivalent to adding some extra toppings to a Totino pizza, baking it until the crust is slightly black on the bottom, and eating it. There wasn’t much to the sauce, the special cheese melts to a weird consistency, and it just wasn’t that good. Also, at this location the ladies room was gross! The staff was nice though and that is the only reason I gave it two stars.

As a non native to St Louis this was my second attempt at Imo’s pizza and there Provel cheese. I was told to try the deluxe not just a plain pepperoni, that did the trick. If you compare this to New York or Chicago you will not care for this, you have to treat it as a separate St Louis style pizza. I got really good service at this location at lunch time and my pizza was brought out quickly. I thought it was good, but I am sure it is not for everyone.

It’s official. I cannot leave St. Louis without eating Imo’s Pizza. This location has become my mainstay on recent visits, based on its proximity to my parents’ house. A hometown tradition, it’s a must-stop for my provel-topped thin crust pizza needs. Based on its location, it seems to do a busy lunch rush, but I’ve managed to avoid the prime busy hours on my visits. My go-to is a 10″(for me) or 12″(to share) pie, usually topped with bacon, and an order of toasted ravioli. Even with a 10″ pizza, this is enough to share. Prices are reasonable(maybe a bit higher than other Imo’s locations), and you can easily get out for about $ 10 a person for a delicious and filling meal.

This Imo’s is just not great … at all. I purchased a Groupon for this Imo’s and it was a mediocre experience, at best. The restaurant is nice on the inside, but is typically completely empty. When we walked in the other night, it was two hours before closing and there was literally NOONE there. When I walked up to the counter to pick up my order, the guy told me that my total was $ 4.99(for tax), and then rudely said, «And I’m going to need the voucher, you can’t just keep it.» Seriously? I mean, I’m sorry that you are an employee at an Imo’s that is not the best in St. Louis, but please don’t be rude. I am not trying to scam you for two pizzas … seriously. So, after I got over his attitude problem and we headed back home, we noticed that the pizza didn’t smell like it usually does when we get it from the Hampton Imo’s. And when we got home, we realized that the Provel used by this particular Imo’s, was not normal. Not only did it not look like a normal Imo’s pizza, it didn’t taste like one either. In fact, the entire pizza was just really not that good. Our second pizza had a pea-sized, rock-like thing melted under the cheese, which was not okay. This place is not great … at all. Do yourself a favor and travel to the one off of Hampton and 40.

When in St. Louis, pick Imo’s! I was at the courthouse for Jury Duty and I saw someone on the streets walk pass with an Imo’s box and I made it my goal to find the Imo’s in Clayton for lunch that day. It was close by and very convenient. It was a clean location, however it advertises wifi yet you cannot connect to it as its password protected. They are on their toes at this location, ready to clean up your table even if you are not finished — I saw this two different times while sitting there. That stinks if you’re dining alone because if you get up for bathroom, drinks, etc, chances are they are going to clean your table up even if you’re not done. Food quality was nice and hot and the salad was crisp and ready the moment I ordered it. Very friendly, I would come back if in the Clayton area again.

I totally went here while waiting for a high level business meeting. I was impressed with the menu/ordering board which hadn’t been updated since 1983. I love those. I then ordered a lunch special. It really wasn’t that special, to be honest. The salad had a lot of shredded cheese on top of it, which is not bad. Where were the croutons? Who the hell makes a salad without croutons? Probably terrorist or people that want to enforce the atkins diet principals on all of us. The pizza was bizarre. It appeared to be a small piece of cardboard covered in tomato sauce and kraft american cheese slices. Maybe they knew I was a cubs fan and were like«lets give this dumbass one of our patented ‘terrible’ pizzas. He’ll shit his pants during his business meeting, and it will be hilarious! Go cards!» That is probably how it went down. The bottled water was good, but the napkins were kind of flimsy.

I’m a native St. Louisan so I grew up with Imo’s. Even though I hadn’t had it in years, it was still delicious when I went here recently. We got the 14″ pizza special with the salad and two drinks. I hadn’t had provel in ages so I enjoyed the novelty of eating it again. It’s not my favoritest cheese ever but for Imo’s, it works. Bottom line, I like the way Imo’s seasons their pizza. The crust is definitely cracker thin but you don’t feel gross and bloated once you’ve had pizza and salad. We had a lovely dining experience here!

Absolutely horrible disappointment. The«pizza» crust resembles a cracker, not bread, and is flavorless. The«sauce» tasted as if had been squeezed from a Spaghetti-O’s can, only worse. The much-celebrated«cheese» was no better than American cheese. I could not taste the toppings, nor cold I identify their presence in the gluey melded combination of what passed as sauce and cheese. This main course, and an accompanying salad composed of 2⁄3 shredded iceberg lettuce, and 1⁄3 of the same trademark processed«cheese,» and a fountain soda(the highlight of the meal) set me back $ 15.00. Please don’t set yourself up for the same experience. This was not a problem with the location or the service, but with the product itself. Their formula is not simply faulty, it is a profound failure. It’s not that it was bad pizza, it just wasn’t pizza at all.

I’ve never been to Imo’s before. I am not from St Louis, but most of the people I work with are homegrown St Louisan’s. So when the lunch location with my coworkers turned out to be Imo’s, I grinned and bared it… can’t be that bad, right? I’ve heard a little about this«Provel» cheese. Something about how it’s highly processed and doesn’t taste like cheese. Being from Wisconsin, I’m all about the REAL, fresh, unprocessed cheese, so Provel didn’t intrigue me too much. I wasn’t too interested by the super thin crust pizza either. I’m not a thin crust pizza person. Thank goodness they have more than just pizza. I went with the Chef Salad lunch special with cheesy garlic bread and a bottomless soda. My dining companions went with the one topping personal pizza lunch special with a side salad and a bottomless soda. The food arrived in no time. The pizza’s looked plastic, that cheese did NOTHING for me visually. It melted into a shiny film over the pizza toppings, gross. It looked like the fake foods some restaurants put on display. My salad wasn’t anything special either, iceberg lettuce, salami, ham, roast beef, processed cheese…*cough* I mean Provel cheese, and hard boiled egg. The cheesy bread was kind gross too, I couldn’t pin-point if it was the shiny plastic cheese or the flavorless bread… or both. The company was great but the food was not.
