True Italian dining in Clawson! Finally a place I can go out with my wife and get real Italian food and not feel ripped off. Prices are great. I had the rabbit ragu and it was fantastic. My wife had the espresso rubbed steak;it was perfectly done. Service was spectacular as well. I enjoyed getting offered the cappuccino after dinner, as that’s a very European thing to do and doesn’t happen often enough around here.

Yet again Unilocal found me a first class dining experience. I was looking for a fine dining Italian restaurant in the Royal Oak/Clawson area. Unilocal to the rescue. I was celebrating my birthday and that of three other friends. Due Venti has its own parking. The décor is modern and warm, the service first class and the food excellent. We made a pact to celebrate our birthdays next year at Due Venti.

Hidden Gem Alert! Wow. Just wow. We started our adventure into Northern Italy with fresh figs stuffed with sausage and goat cheese. They were almost too beautiful to eat. The stuffed figs melted in our mouths. For an entrée I went with the ravioli. Huge handmade pasta squares stuffed with ricotta and swiss chard tossed with arugula pesto and Michigan corn. Every bite was delightful. My husband ordered the gnocci with tomatoes and spinach. He was not disappointed. We rarely order dessert, but could not resist the daily special. Panna cotta with a lemon crème and blueberry bourbon sauce and french press coffee. The service was the best I’ve had in years. Jeffery was the perfect server. What a gentleman! The price was on the more expensive side totaling $ 100 for the two of us. But it was worth every penny!
