The food was really good, although it was pricey for being small portions. The interior of the was nice, it had lots of decorations and it was very clean. The were personable and knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely go back.

After reading the reviews, checking out the pictures, and considering the prices compared to portions I expected something spectacular. After first glance of my meal I was disappointed. The macaroni & cheese was white with little to no cheese as shown in the pictures posted. The cornbread was dry and had no flavour at all!!! The «candied» yams lacked flavour and sweetness. The chicken was okay and nicely seasoned but still did not make up for the rest of my meal. I guess today was an off day. What can you do? I guess You Only Live Once.

Slow service, not a lot of menu choices, not really a kids place to eat, needs to open earlier than 1:30 pm, and need to serve drinks out of the fountain or machine instead of plastic bottles. Food taste like i should have cooked at home.

Everything we ate was so good. Made fresh with lots of love. The staff was quick, courteous, and helpful. Yolonda (the owner and chef) came out from the kitchen to check on our meal and was very attentive to every patron. We will be coming back soon.

Stopped in for supper. Loved the food! I got the blackened catfish, Mac and cheese, candied yams and fried green tomatoes– everything was on point! My husband got the pork chop sandwich and ate it so fast I barely got a chance to see it. We met Miss Yolo– she and her staff were so friendly and inviting. Can’t wait to go back and try some of her other suppers!
Oh and they have outdoor seating!!!

Slap your momma good! Cook came out to see how we liked the food. Had the apple curried pork chops. It was a real treat!

The best food I have eaten at a restaurant in a long time. Yolo’s food is fresh, tasty and are perfect portion sized. The staff is friendly and efficient. The owner comes out to meet and greet all the guest, and ensure the food is good. We have eaten there several times and we are never disappointed. The upside down Apple pie with homemade ice cream is a must try! We love everything about Yolo’s and will continue to eat here-​A LOT!
