Grove Apartments

If I could do no stars, I would. This place has shootings constantly. Let’s not forget the shoot out that ended with a young girl dying three years ago. The grove doesn’t want anybody talking about that. And will probably fight to have this taken down. But it is public knowledge. The gates are broken and they keep saying that they are“under repair.” Anyone comes and goes as they please. I have recorded drug deals in the parking lot many times. Also, It’s party central. Good luck sleeping. I also have bugs. I keep asking them to do something about it, and the guys that come spray take care of them for one week and then they come back. They knowingly put people who are completely opposite and should not be roommates together as roommates. As long as it involves getting them out of their hair for a little while. They are interested in short term solutions not long term, that are best for the residents. The the subcontractors that The Grove and Campus Crest hire don’t have proper background checks done. Two subcontractors who would come in and clean and paint the rooms kept whistling and hollering really vulgar things to me in the parking lot. So bad that I did not want to walk alone. These contractors are given a master key to the whole building when they are doing work on them. I had a lot of money stolen at the Grove’s expense while there were a group of them painting my building. One of them came in my apartment while I wasn’t there. On another account, someone walked in my apartment while I was in the shower. I had no idea they were In there! I heard someone talking and panicked. Imagine how vulnerable and scared a young girl feels when she is home alone and in the shower and she hears strangers in her apartment. They gave me no warning that they would be there and were coming in. they just walked in. Apparently they were «cleaners.» The Grove knew that this stuff was happening and that their subcontractors/​cleaners/​painters were stealing from residence and they didn’t look into it or even apologize. They knew BEFORE I had told them about my experience.
Also, It is nearly impossible to talk to the sales manager Jordan or April the property manager. The staff protect them with a fury so that NOBODY can talk to them or get near them. I guess they are too busy? And don’t have time? But the problem is, nobody can answer any of the hard questions but them. So basically you get no questions answered and nothing solved, so that leaves you to blast them on the Internet and hope that others don’t make the same decision.
They also screen calls. They can see your number when you call. If they know you are calling with a complaint or a problem. They won’t answer. Caught them doing this in the office one day.
