This is an unfriendly restaurant with dishonest pricing. I recommend avoiding it. The hot & sour soup was very good –among the best I have had in Clarksville in some time — but that is the only good thing about it, The rest of the food is mundane, like almost every other Chinese-type buffet restaurant in the Clarksville area.(Sometimes I think a central kitchen prepares all the food and delivers it to these buffet restaurants to warm up and serve, because there is not a dime’s worth of difference in most of them.) The restaurant was once one of the best Chinese-type buffets in the area. Now it is probably the smallest and the worst, offering the least variety and charging arbitrarily. The buffet is about 20% the size of other Chinese-type buffets, and the cost for me was at least 30% higher than that listed on the take-out menu. It was so interesting, however, that I almost did not mind paying too much. The hoot was there are signs all over the place saying if you do not clean your plate you will be charged extra, by the pound, for the food that is not eaten. I had lunch. The dinner price was posted on the wall, but the lunch price was not. This is a sign on each of the two buffet lines: «Attention valued customers: The food is costly. Once you remove the food from the SERVINGLINE it is YOURS! And you will be charged accordingly. Any questions, please talk to the management.» There is another sign on the door and the window before entering: «Attention Customers, We do NOT care how many trips to the bar you make, we do Not care how much food you eat. But please do not waste food. Thank you, General Manager.» I arrived a little after the traditional lunch hour, so do not know how many patrons had actually been there for lunch. There were three other dine-in customers and one person getting a take-out buffet while I was at the restaurant. The take-out menu lists lunch($ 6.25) and dinner($ 10.95) as buffet prices. The same dinner price is listed on the wall, but no lunch price is listed. The take-out menu also states a 10% discount for military, college students, and seniors. The take-out lunch price is listed as $ 4.95. A lady runs the place by herself, which is quite an accomplishment since she is constantly talking on a cell phone. A young man came out of the kitchen once to check the tray levels. My bill was $ 8.90, more than I have ever been charged for lunch at much nicer and more elaborate Chinese-style buffets in the Clarksville area. I left a $ 1.00 tip, expecting to receive one of the discounts. The lady told me they did not give any discounts, the take-out menu was outdated and prices had been raised. She said the take-out price of $ 4.95 was per pound, but I did not see any scales. The dinner price of $ 10.95 on the take-out menus was the same as that posted on the wall. Except for the hot & sour soup and the humor of being charged for the food you do not eat in addition to the buffet price and the fluctuating meal charges, this place is not worth a visit. The hot & sour soup alone would be worth three stars, but the business model is so bizarre that the place is best avoided. There are better«Chinese-style» buffet restaurants in the area — any other that you can find. I will be surprised if the place is still open on my next trip to Clarksville(I will not go there again in any event).

Worst service in clarksville. The lady behind cash register lied about prices and then was screaming at a customer and telling us both we were too late for lunch. This lady is nuts… stay away

Wish i would have read reviews before i went!! Do not go and waste your hard earned money! Food was awful.Soggy.wet and chicken was dried out. At 6 pm the food was low and old and the spring rolls were actually wet n soggy. Yuck! My tea was soured also… we werent there long as we didnt eat much… when we checked out she asked how it was I said honestly? It was awful. worst ever. told her all these things and she said the prices are cheapest around… Really? Thats what you have to say? And btw it was NOT cheaper .it was 42.00 for 3 people… no matter the price it should still be good. eveidently she didnt care because she let me leave after. i said i would never be back and she never tried to offer me anything to keep my business… been coming here for years before new owners took over… it was pretty good and was cheaper… I am self employed and you cant stay in business by not offering good quality of whatever you are selling and by not caring if your customers come back or not! Should be negative ratings on here…

The food was not tasty at all. I had 3 plates, each containing unique food from the other plates. I did not like ¾ of the food, as it tasted horrible. The waitress seemed surprise that i have left 3 plates of food on the table nearly full. Also, the dessert selection was not good at all. They didn’t even had cones for my ice cream. I do recommend the shrimp, it was one of the few food selection they cooked and seasoned right.

I won’t go back to this restaurant. The experience was just too sickening to forget. The new owners may be very nice but that’s not an incentive to go back. Try it at your own risk. Good luck. I sincerely hope it has gotten better but, I’m not willing to be the test subject.

DONOTEATHERE!!! If I could do negative stars I would give it –5. Went here to eat and the food on the buffet was old and stale. Me and my family were scared to actually eat it. So we got up and said we were not going to eat it and told the owner we would pay but not pay full price and she got irate. Ended up paying 50 dollars for one bite of food. I am going to tell everyone I know to never eat here. Please please please stay away! I am so upset at this point I want to call the BBB and file a compliant. This place just needs to close! Save your money and frustration and head down the street to King Mao. Great fresh food and awesome people!

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I hardly ever write reviews, but when I do they’re always positive. However, we visited this restaurant for the first time today after the owner’s husband bragged to me about how good the food is now since they paid big money for a new chef. The place was dead when we walked in. We ordered our drinks anyway and proceeded to the buffet. The small selection they had didn’t seem appealing at all and none of it was fresh! I told the owner we were going to go somewhere else and she says«Well I already got your drinks. We’ll cook whatever you want fresh.» We ended up going somewhere else but get this, she made us pay $ 4 for the drinks we ordered even though we never took a sip from our cups or sat down at a table. No wonder she doesn’t get any business. Save your money guys.

Service was terrible! Not once was our table cleared or plates picked up in the 30 mins we were there. Also, there was not much of a selection there. There was a plate that indicated it had crab legs since there was a small piece left on there was empty until we left. I had to inform a worker that there was no white rice. And worst of it all, when our server came to give us the check she asked my 3 year old if he was the one who spilled the drink. She stood there and teased him that he has to clean it up in a mean voice and made him cry! First and the last time we will go there

food is just ok, dinning area not so great but I rarely sat down to eat, have alway just used carry out, BUT, they have switched to weighing and charging by the lbs, (the box is already downsized) at 4.99 lbs I guess I will need to find another carry out.

Used to be amazing here, the crab legs are decently seasoned. But as others have said. It’s often few and far btwn when they bring more out. Good prices for the lunch buffet. But basically same bar plus sporadically brought out crab legs def can’t warrant a dinner meal. Nice people and good environment tho.

Everything bad that could come with a buffet I found here. Bugs on the table, dirty unworking bathrooms, soggy old food, standoffish waitress. 2 stars just because their steam rice was decent and it was next to my house. Next time I’d rather make the drive to the China Buffet on Ft Campbell Blvd near Wal-mart.

I think is ok for lunch, but for dinner is way too expensive for the variety of food the offer.

This place sucks. If you go to a dinner buffet and it says it includes crab legs but they never put any out you shouldn’t get charged. Thats not the way they think at this classy establishment. When asked where the crab legs were i was told they were being cooked so i waited over 20 minute. After asking again i was told about another 20 minutes. All lies the crab legs never showed up. Now i didn’t go here for crab legs i went here for the buffet but after being told it was included in the price no matter what i was going to eat some. The buffet sucked and the mystical crab legs never showed up. Don’t waste your time here you will be highly disapointed

Let’s not waste time and get to the point: –It was $ 30 for me and my husband. I ordered a water, so I figured it was about $ 13 per person. Make no mistake, this buffet is NOT worth it. — Now, I’ll happily fork over $ 15 for a supreme Chinese buffet with hot food. China King’s food had been sitting out all day and dry. –What’s funny is they have prices of the lunch buffet posted, carryout posted, but no dinner price posted. You automatically assume it’s only a few bucks more than the lunch price. Tricky marketing technique. –Yeah, they have the guy that cooks your stir fry in front of you, and rows of mediocre, old Chinese food. So what? –As of May 1st they’re getting rid of their crab legs on the buffet due to rising costs in restaurant supplies, gas, and whatever else. Does that mean they’re going to lower the cost of their buffet since that’s all people come in for? Probably not. –Particular food I want to highlight that you should probably avoid if you decide to come here… Fried rice is nasty, crab rangoon is a disappointment, and their sesame chicken is watery. OVERALL: I believe the only thing I liked about this place was the tanks of koi on the side when I walked in. Needless to say, we’re not going to be back.

Ew. Not only is this place pretty wimpy in its options, nothing is very fresh or even moderately good tasting. They’ll leave trays out with half a scoop of food in them and won’t refill the entire time you’re there. This would all be acceptable if it was cheap to eat here but it’s about $ 11 per person for dinner!!! You can eat at most restaurants for that so don’t waste your time. Plus, they have an inconsistent selection of food so you never know what you’ll be stuck forcing down. Anyone that says this place is good doesn’t know what real chinese food is supposed to taste like. Even for a buffet, this was nasty.

I’ve been here a few times… and it definitely isn’t the best in Clarksville. They don’t have near an many choices as other Chinese buffets in the Clarksville area & they also don’t have the bar where the guy cooks it for you. The food is pretty good, though. That’s what got this place 3 stars.

Just gross Fried rice was under cooked and hard. The Sesame Chicken didn’t have much chicken, mainly grissle. The sauce wasn’t spicy at all like it should be, but it was overly garlicky. I don’t think I’ll ever eat there again.

We came here last year when we first moved to town and thought it was great. Since then we haven’t had a lot of time to go out and eat so this past weekend we decided to go back finally. This time I was really disappointed with the quality of the food. My husband was kind of bummed that they didnt have the crawfish boiled in cajun seasoning anymore, without the seasoning they aren’t worth eating. The only thing we liked here were the snow crab legs so I guess it was worth it anyway.
