arrived late… looking for tv news and sleep. TV did not work. My husband is a tv tech and could not get it to work… called the desk and she offered to come and check it out… really. I asked for a room discount. In the morning I checked on the discount and was told that the remedy was to move us to a different room… really? at 9:30pm? so they gave us a $ 10 discount… knock yourself out… we were at their mercy. It was an expensive room with no consideration… cheap and unaccomodating for us, regular customers and members… no more.

My daughter and I checked in and found blood or something similar along the mattress by her head. When we asked to move or have them change the mattress said they would take care if it. We left and when we got back that night found they left the same mattress but had squirted it with bleach. Gave her a different said of bedding and said she could change it if she wanted. We would have left but rooms were hard to come by. We wanted to stay a week but were told no room available 2 of the nights. They let us take all our stuff to the car then said our room was available. They never offered to clean or give us fresh towels the week we were there. We had to ask for them.

Without a doubt one of the worst hotel experiences that I have ever had. I thought I would make a list. 1. Walking into the hotel you must wade through a fog of nasty smoke because the only place for smokers is right outside the door. 2. Trying to check in, the clerk was odd and had a manner or tone that reminded me of a county health department worker giving out flu shots. She wasn’t interested in making me welcome, but she was very focused on making sure that I didn’t smoke in my room. At first I found the whole thing offensive because I don’t even smoke, but then realized that I probably smelled like a smoker because I had just walked through the smoking section by the front door. I usually find front desk clerks friendly and helpful, so the whole experience was strange. When I asked about getting a cup of hot tea she told me that there would be a tea bag in my room(never saw it). 3. Dirty. Not only were there dirty linens in the hallway(left from the maid?) there was also nasty dust in the room in several places. This probably seemed so offensive because of the notices about the housekeeping policy that seemed to be posted in several places. You’d think that a place that placed such focus on their housekeeping policy would have been cleaner. 4. NOICE… When I checked in, I would have loved a big glass of ice water(since I didn’t get the tea discussed above) but there are no ice machines. There were instructions about how to get the icemaker in the refrigerator to work, but checking in at 8:30 pm and checking out in the morning to make an early AM business meeting doesn’t leave a lot of time for me to be making my own ICE. So many hotels have ice water in the lobby, even that would have been great. 5. Instead of separate shampoo and conditioner, they had one small tube of the combo type. 6. I couldn’t figure out where to open my suitcase because there wasn’t one of those suitcase stands that you always find in hotels. I ended up using the chair. 7.No express check out under my door in the morning, instead I had to go to the desk which might have been ok except for the morning clerk didn’t say a single word to me during the process. I handed here my key card said that I’d like to check out and she printed my receipt and handed it to me without a word. 8. During the silent treatment, there were bottles of water lined up behind the front desk as if to mock me for being thirsty the night before. Walking out to my car I wondered what one might have to do to merit one of those bottles of water.

1st time staying at this brand, this is a fairly new Motel in the area. They exceeded my expectations, Staff very friendly and helpful, excellent room with kitchenette. Pool close to Restaurants and shopping with Very E-Z access to I-65.

The hotel was average. I had to change rooms initially because the first room smelled terribly like stale Indian food. The replacement room was fine though. The staff could have been a little more cheery but overall it was fine. Lots of places around to eat or shop and quick access to I-65.

This hotel, yes its four stories tall, has several cool features such as FREE laundry facilities AND they’re located in the exercise room so can get a workout while you keep an eye on your clothes. They also have what they call a cupboard which is more like a mini-mart and you pay on the honor system. The rooms have DVD players, full size refrigerators, dual burner ranges, microwaves, garbage disposal, ice makers, plus pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. There is also an indoor pool that goes to five feet deep which is better than only three feet deep like at some Holiday Inn Express. I also love how there is only maid service once a week. I think changing the sheets each day is unnecessary and the trash cans are large enough to accommodate multiple days. I would stay here again and again.
