Horrible experience ever had. Dirty bad smelling rooms, no exhaust fan in bathroom, dirty smelly towels, falsely advertised breakfast which was actually just one day old coffee in a dirty machine. Owner very rude. Refused to give extra blanket. These guys must improve their standard to stay in business otherwise it’s pure cheating.

The summary is: the place looks meh, but it’s clean and very functional. I ended up here because I am a La Quinta fan, but the La Quinta across the street was running $ 100/night. No thanks! This place was $ 50/night, plus it offered a washer and dryer, which I desperately needed. The washer and dryer are $ 1.25 each, and the front desk will happily give you change. I needed to run the dryer twice even though the lint trap was clean and I had a small load. Still, fewer and fewer places these days seem to offer guest laundry, so this was great. The wifi is totally free and seemed perfectly functional; another bonus. The water pressure was great. There seem to be fridges and microwaves in all rooms, which is amazing. The bed seemed fine to me. Plus, pets are allowed with a deposit, which is such a lifesaver if you’re traveling with an animal. It’s just pretty ugly-looking. I had a couple minutes to sit and reflect on what made the room look so bad, when everything about it was totally fine, but I couldn’t unravel the mystery. Every part of the experience here is totally adequate, and I’m sure I would stay here again by myself. I’m just not sure I would want to bring anyone else with me.

This is a safe, clean choice for pet owners that need wifi. Everything was average. A-OK. I’d recommend it to pet owners traveling in the area looking for a place that’s between cheap motel and five-star experience. We came up for my daughter’s college graduation(Go Peay!). My other kids stayed at the Ramada Limited down the street and they only had one bed and a grumpy staff.(At the Ramada Ltd. my other daughter said two adults, expecting two beds, but got one, they did not switch her to a different room when she asked unless she paid more and they told her two adults meant one bed.(Make sure you’re very close with your guest over there.) She was sharing a room with her brother. They got a cot. Here, at Americas Best Value, we said two adults and got two beds.(I was sharing with my teen daughter, I offered other kids to switch but they didn’t want responsibility of dogs since they were going out to do 20-something fun things.) I would recommend Americas Best Value Inn over Ramada Limited based on my kids comments and experiences throughout the stay. The Americas Best Value Inn staff was friendlier than the Ramada Ltd. staff, and the rooms were better at Americas Best Value.(Unfortunately, my kids at Ramada Ltd. booked through Hotwire and had no refund, otherwise they would have switched.) We paid $ 50 a night plus $ 10 for each pet per night — so $ 70 per night for us because we had two dogs. Did we have a $ 70 per night experience? No. But, it was worth $ 50 a night, and the pet deposit is understandable.(Just wish it was a little lower and we may have stayed longer.) First, in response to other reviews that are older: 1. I had room 128 and it was clean. I’ve definitely been in far worse. Rug safe to walk on, bathroom pristine, beds average, size average. Maybe some spots on wall here and there but I could care less about that. They weren’t noticeable unless you were looking for them.(If you’re looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel this isn’t it — but it’s not your grunge cheap motel either. Very«average.» About as average as it gets. 2. We had absolutely no problems with wifi, and we’re big users. Not once was there a glitch or pause. 3. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our housekeepers were very helpful and personable. Five stars for the staff. 4. We had a fridge and microwave and did not ask for them or pay extra, and they were useful since we unexpectedly extended our stay. No coffee machine in room(I usually give an extra star for coffee pot in room), but they did have free coffee and orange juice and wrapped pecan rolls/honey buns(think Little Debbie) in the lobby up until 10 a.m. Amenities: Had fridge, microwave, shampoo, soap, free breakfast. Vending machines, ice, paid washer/dryer available(we didn’t use). Good: Grass for walking dogs, on the outskirts of town so no annoying traffic noise. View of giant crop field.(No idea what it is.) Lots of shopping and eating nearby.(My teen daughter walked to the nearby mall or shopping center to get me a Mother’s Day card. Awwwww…) Safe. Clean parking lot and lawn. Spacious enough. Heating/Cooling worked fine and I could open window if I wanted. Desk, convenient plugs. TV small(I could care less), but picture was very clear and nice assortment of channels.(I’m not a TV person.) I wasn’t disturbed by any other guests, sound between rooms was fine. Space on counter around sink for girl stuff. Checkout time is 11 a.m. which is decent and not obscenely early. Cons: I did not have a plug for the bathtub. Went hiking the day before arriving and could have used a good soak.(Was going to ask but then got busy with kids and family stuff.) While we were there, there was a fire(unnoticed, but trucks arrived) and we had to evacuate, I was in the shower getting ready for daughter’s graduation when it happened.(This is my life… these things happen because my life is full of a multiple series of unfortunate events, so it probably won’t happen to you unless you are similarly cursed.) Kudos to housekeeping for knocking on doors and following procedures. Had it been a serious fire, the hotel would have responded appropriately. My daughter’s obnoxious phone alarm that sounded like a fire alarm was definitely a negative, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. :) I was satisfied with my stay, and if you need a pet-friendly hotel with reliable wi-fi in the Clarksville, TN area and you’re happy with average, this is it. I definitely recommend.

First room unclean. Brown spots under comforters and on carpet. Hair on bed sheets. One light not working. No apology from staff. Second room 10+ small holes in one bed’s bed sheets. Cracking around ceiling of shower. 1 inch diameter hole in ceiling above sink dripping water when sink turned on.

If you’re looking for somewhere cheap to get your head down, well, my husband definitely did his research on Clarksville. This place is pretty spartan. I was vaguely surprised there was cable in the rooms, since they don’t even have alarm clocks(!). Still, the front desk has been lovely, the wi-fi has been working(a step above some more expensive hotels I’ve recently customed), and you literally cannot beat the price. Edit: DON’T BOTHERWITHTHISPLACE. They swiped my husband’s card, said it didn’t work, so he paid in cash. When my husband saw they went ahead and charged his card anyway, he called them and asked for them to return the charge. After TWODAYS of asking, they still wouldn’t credit his account(he offered to show them the receipt for the cash), so now we have to go other routes to get the money back, and it’s just a stupid, stressful way to end a visit.
