Pretty good Veggie platter. I get the same thing every time I go — always take out because the scene is mostly Ethiopian men — Veggie platter comes with 4 vegetables (lentils two kinds yellow and red, greens and beets). They give you lots of injeera and a side salad. For 10 bucks not a bad dinner!

When we walked in, the place felt like some kind of nightclub– the interior was super dark, and the clientele was predominantly male (outside of our group, there was only 1 woman).
Short rib tibs– For those who are familiar with Korean kalbi, they use the same cut of meat, but season the meat differently (more peppery). Pretty tasty, not as sweet as Korean style. A little bit on the overcooked side, but tasted good nonetheless. I was pleasantly surprised by this dish. (3.5)
Chicken stew– We waited FOREVER for this dish to come out– the rest of us finished our meals already, and it STILL didn’t come out.
After it finally came out, my wife bit into the chicken… and it was cold. *eegh*
To their credit, the manager was quite amicable, and apologized profusely and offered a free entrée on the house– but by that time since everyone else was finished, we just decided to leave. The chicken stew was taken off the bill without any issues.
If it weren’t for the chicken issue, I’d probably give this place a solid 4. But flat 3 suffices for now.
