We first went here a couple years ago… Owner suggest breakfast steak… It was great. We went back a couple times after… Couple weeks ago went for breakfast and had AWFUL experience … Owner was no where to be seen and manager on duty waited on us. When asked about the steak breakfast she responded they MIGHT be able to dig one out of the freezer… It was awful and when we asked about some jelly she advised us we would be charged extra … Then hovered behind us watching to see if we used up what was on the table… It’s sad to see a local business fail like this one did. We won’t be back

Great for breakfast — biscuits and gravy were the real deal. Loved the non-chain hometown non-plastic café ambiance, too. Both the link sausage & gravy had a little kick. Would come back tomorrow if I could.

This is where you go if you want to see all the locals(at least that’s the impression I got while here). The service was friendly but not terribly quick or responsive. I ordered a soup and salad. The soup was pretty bland, but the salad was tasty and the corn muffin the highlight of the meal! I think that if I had ordered a sandwich or breakfast like the others at the table I would have had a slightly more interesting meal, so if you go here pick something that sounds super-flavorful and prepare to wait a bit(depending on the server) for your meal.

This is a small comfortable café, service was very friendly, not the most efficient, but I actually found that refreshing because the wait staff was visiting with customers. Food was typical hometown café, good portions and my hash browns and omelet was cooked to perfection. I had to ask if the bread was homemade, but to my surprise it wasn’t. Expect a café cooked meal, if you want a high end pretty looking plate, go elsewhere. If you want to go to a place where they make you feel like you belong. this is it.
