Lou Lou

I could have stayed in this gift shop alllllllll day. And spent alllllllll of my money here!
LouLou, ironically located right next to Lululemon, is a boutique/​gift shop specializing in jewelry. They had a lot of brands I had not heard of and some locally made and designed selections. They carried pure vida bracelets, charms, necklaces, fancy jewelry, more casual pieces and cards. They also had my FAVORITE greeting card brand: Curly Girl Designs. For those who are not familiar with it, it is designed by an awesome artist. The cards are created collage style with deep and meaningful (and sometimes funny!) quotes. Needless to say, I had to stock up!
There were so many gift options in this store. If I lived here, I would surely come back often! They had ideas for men and women alike. I mainly purchased cards on this trip but I could have gotten a lot more! The prices are a little high but the service was great and the selection was wide. The store has a «point» system for frequent buyers.
I love finding small local gift shops like these and just wish I could transport this one back to my home town!

I popped in here to grab a pair of earrings. When I went to the register to pay, there was a woman in front of me. It took the woman at the register 15 minutes (FIFTEEN!) to check her out. Meanwhile, there were other employees in the stores who were chatting.
My assumption is that the woman at the cash register was new and that’s why it took so long. (At least, I hope). But there is no excuse for the other employees who were just diddle-​daddling. It shouldn’t take that long to purchase one pair of earrings. Cmon now.

A bit smaller than others but friendly staff. This means less products, but it’s well-​merchandised and has some of their newer offerings. Good sunglass/​scarf selection too. Plus, they feature local jewelry as well, which is cool. I’m just happy to have a Lou Lou close to me… though my wallet disagrees.
